I accidentally missed ONE payment and my monthly bill of $185 more than DOUBLED! They charge $25 every 5 days the payment is late and my unit was ALEREADY SCHEDULED FOR AUCTION after 30 days of pass due payment !!! They also charge an additional $150 legal fee to retract the auction paperwork. Luckily, I noticed the situation in time and paid all the fees ASAP. I had a $70,000 sports car in the unit that I could have LOST due to their over zealous contract and my situation. BTW- Just in the two years I've used this location, the original private company has SOLD OUT to a large multi-state real estate corporation and has raised their prices from $99 - $125 - $154 - $171 - now $185 for a 10'x20' ....and they also require renter's insurance. Just imagine if you're in an accident and can't make a payment for a single month or your automatic CC declines the payment due to suspicious activity.... YOU WILL LOOSE EVERYTHING! There use to be a full time employee on site, now its all computer controlled and only a maintenance man shows up occasionally. Better hope the gate is working the day you show up too. It use to be well lit at night, but recently to save money I would assume....the storage facility now turns off most of the lights in the center of the complex. This makes for a dangerous environment, considering I've seen multiple homeless people living out of the storage units late at night, until they get caught and are in violation of their contract !!!! The gentleman that assisted us were very welcoming and friendly and they had a great promotion for a 5x10 storage for $49 a month so we took it! Also, we had our u-haul trailer that needed to get dropped off at another location, but we were able to drop it off at Storage Max which saved us time and made it so much easier! I highly recommend to come here, great service and great staff :)

We walked into our climate controlled unit noticing how hot and humid it was. I thought maybe some nearby units had gotten flooded in the recent rain because it felt like a wet sauna inside. We started seeing mold growing everywhere and damaging our items. We tried to get all of our items out within two weeks but we kept getting physically sick everytime we went in there. This happened in the south east corner of the climate controlled building. If you had a similar experience this summer I would like to chat with you about next actions.

He relocated me within the same complex and gave me a great deal for my troubles. He made sure that my business needs were not a second thought, but a priority for him. I reported it being stuck open and it was never fixed. When I vacated the storage unit, I used the live assistant kiosk to inform them of me moving out. I was told it was taken care of and to expect an email with the cancellation of my account within 24 hours. This was on the 30th of the month. Checked my email & Public Storage account 24 hours later & there was no email and my Public Storage account was still active. Luckily I still had 1 day left in the month before they overcharged me on an empty unit. I called the property, no answer: called the customer service line, no option for moving out; tried their live chat and finally got a link for moving out which brought me back to their app. I have " scheduled" a move out date through their app, fingers crossed this works.

They have a number of different deals that they offer but we ended up snacking a great unit that was a 15x20 size for a really great price. We ended up needing another unit today due to unexpected moving shenanigans and so we went into the office and spoke with Jeremy who is the office manager and is amazing and got another great deal and he was very helpful and just walking us through the entire process making it as painless as possible so I would highly recommend.
