Well I suppose that is true. Second my appointments were both over a month out. I was called to go out of state for power outage restoration, this happened for both appointments. I paid their 50$ fee for canceling my appointment. Third now they want $200 appointment fee. People without power will always come before a Dentist appointment, if you don't understand that I will find a new dentist. The only recommendation I will give this business is the dental hygienist did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. But then again every dentist has good hygienists.

I left several messages for her and she has never returned my calls. When I decided to switch to another dentist, I have never been able to obtain my records. They claim they don't have them despite the fact that I personally brought them when I switched to this office. Then they did all kinds of procedures that I didn't approve of - thousands of dollars of work was recommended. I told them I didn't approve any of these procedures done. I was given a credit and later had a tooth filled and a different tooth pulled. So the credit I had was used up. I went to a new Dentist this week they did X-rays etc and found two teeth that need to be removed and recommended another Dental Surgeon which I met with today. The charges for the two teeth is going to be less than I paid for one with McKinley. So in closing - the prices of McKinley is way to high and appear to only want to do expensive procedures. Very disappointing. I will say this the Dentist did do a good job as far as the removal of the tooth. Unfortunately the tooth she filled is now one of the teeth that will have to be pulled so I wasted a lot of money having it filled.

The work was quick, excellent and priced fair. What I really liked were how nice the people were! Every single person that you have to interact with were kind, knowledgeable and understanding. The actual office environment is very inviting & bright with books and artifacts to put you at ease. I found the music to be a bit loud in the waiting room but I'm sure if I said something they would have toned it down. DDS, Ray McKinley wrote a fascinating book; you can read it or purchase it while you are in the office.

This dentist overbills, has patients coming 3 to 4 times a year for dental cleaning, and is rude and either incompetent or just a scam artist. I went to her for a denture. She checked my mouth briefly and sent a request for approval from my insurance company. Since seeing her I went to two other dentists and found out a denture would not hold for 5 minutes in my mouth because I have so much bone loss there is nothing for a denture to hold onto. I have to have a bone graft before a denture would stay in my mouth. Chalasini said nothing about this, received approval from my insurance company, and if I hadn't had two other opinions would have gone ahead, losing over half my annual dental insurance "budget", and the denture would be sitting in a drawer somewhere, certainly not in my mouth. Check to see her overbilling and find another dentist for even the most basic things. Thankfully I sensed something was wrong with this office, and I was right. This office is a nightmare. Save yourself.

During my previous visits, the assistant who took care of me was not very kind and made me feel self-conscious about my dental issues. It almost felt as if she was looking down on me, which made the experience uncomfortable. However, that all changed during my last appointment. Instead of my usual assistant, I was greeted by a different dental assistant, Mrs. Rose. From the moment she walked in, she radiated warmth, kindness, and genuine care. She was the sweetest person and made me feel comfortable, even though I had come in feeling down about my dental problems. She took the time to explain everything to me and offered reassurance that truly made a difference in my experience. I am so grateful for her kindness and the positive impact she had on my visit. I just saw the bill, they billed an emergency exam (this is done if you go in with a tooth ache) and did a scaling and root planing, wich is a type of perio surgery/procedure. It should have been a new patient exam. Possible a debriment since it had been 5 years and see how the patient responds. I was in the dental managment industry for over 25 years, and this kind of crap is why I left. Not to mention there was no fee/copay disclosure before starting treatment. I will be putting in a formal complaint with Delta Dental. I did call and was told they did everything correct.
