Dr. BAtra is horrible and so so fake. She clearly is being sooo fake when she walks in. She cannot stand the patients and she's unprofessional always laughing loudly and talking very loudly. She's also very pushy on things that don't matter just so she can make more money. Tries to act like her office is high class because they offer paraffin and mini lip balms. Wowwww good for you. Wonderful experience! Location is convenient, at the corner of Wattles & Crooks. New building, love the decor, lots of parking spaces, park and go right in. See pics of the waiting room. An abundance of exam rooms. Looks like all of the newest technology. TV to keep you occupied while your in a massaging chair. If that's not enough ease - complimentary hot paraffin treatment for your hands! Yes.....dip your hands in the warm paraffin, put your hands in the plastic and right into hand mitts. I kept it on the entire time during my cleaning....and after hands felt so good. What a nice touch! Staff - very friendly. My hygienist was Magda. She was so good. Gentle and really nice. My daughter had a male hygienist and he was really nice too. I honestly hate going to the dentist, it's not at all because of the staff - it's me. I don't like anyone in my mouth. Lol. But she knew that, still really took the time to clean my teeth well, and made me feel comfortable. So thank you! Did I mention you can get cosmetic treatments there? Botox, fillers etc so just a thought. As for Dr. Batra - beautiful and big personality. She was just very personable, spoke well, and did not try to sell me anything. No complaints about dental care, only complaint is about the receptionist. Extremely rude to talk to regarding any situation. Cut me off multiple times regarding rescheduling due to a covid exposure(whole house tested positive). Her solution was to have the patient come in any way with no ride home or cancel the appointment... she never even heard our full situation! Never had any issues like this in my life nor have I been talked down to like that. Customer service 0/5! read more

Dentist is amazing! So gentle, so funny & made our visit a pleasant one. We haven't had much luck at other places so coming here was a huge scare at first... but after our visit, we are now her patients for life!!!! It started from the most patient & understanding secretary. She made was so kind in explaining everything to me when booking our appointments. My 12 yr old & me were able to make the appointments that fit our schedule. My daughter cannot miss time at school so this place is perfect for meeting her needs. It started with a lively paraffin wax for our hands, some X-rays, a cleaning & check up. The hygienist & dentist explained everything that they were doing moment by moment so we were comfortable & no pain. They made it so relaxing & simple. The whole staff here has the best personality & compassion. I'm so happy we found them!!!! If there was a "zero star" I would choose it! Aside from "comfortable, essential oils, and adult free stuff" this place is terrible! I went in for a cleaning and was told I needed a filling. When I came in for a filling, the dentist told me that ai was going to get 2 crowns! Then my temporary cut my tongue! When I cam back that night for her to grind it down, she had an attitude with me. This was just the beginning of awful care! This was right before Thanksgiving in 2021 and I was told I would have "no issue" eating, but I did! After I got the final crowns put on, I went back 5 times for it to be ground down... and was still in pain after 3 months. I gave up and went to a new dentist. They were shocked that this dentist gave me a rubber bite guard to "help". When my husband went up there to get my xrays, they gave him someone elses file folder!!! My new dentist finally fixed my crown. But now after less than 2 years there is a HOLE in my crown! And likely my insurance won't cover it because they are supposed to last 10 years. My new dentist believes I never should have received crowns in the first place. Save yourself some grief and do not go here!!!! read more

As someone who hates going to the dentist, Dr. Batra does everything to make me feel comfortable. From massaging chairs to paraffin hand dips, it makes my experience less stressful. If you're like me, you HATE the dentist. I dread each and every appointment just knowing there is bound to be something wrong with my teeth. Enter Dr. Batra. I learned of this place from a friend. After she told me the office was modern and had a great view, plus massaging chairs and paraffin hand wax, I figured I should give it a shot. After nearly a half dozen appointments, I have not been disappointed. The hygienists are super nice and good conversationalists, plus the Dr. is very friendly and has a big personality, which makes it a not-so-scary experience. Each appointment starts off with a dip in the wax, so I always leave with my hands silky smooth - that's my favorite part. I can tell Dr. Batra stays on top of the latest dental practices, which I appreciate as a young patient that needs to be coddled. She can do all the cosmetic stuff too, and even offers botox in her office (not for me, but cool I suppose). Don't let her name fool you either. Everybody is always smiling and in a good mood which made me feel better. They always listen to my needs whether it's dental work or teeth whitening. The massaging chairs are always a bonus. Man, I honestly don't know how to start this besides everyone here is unbelievably friendly and caring and just want the best for you and your teeth! I figured I would look at Yelp for a dentist because I chipped my tooth and my dentist is 2 hours away, I went with the Dental Studio; best decision I've made! They all made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in! Dr. Michael was my dentist and he was very direct and super friendly! He made sure that I wasn't in pain from the time he started to the time he ended! The bonus of the time I was there was they had massaging chairs when they were doing your procedure. Dr. Michael was very confident and you can definitely tell he loves what he does! I highly highly highly recommend this place to anyone! Absolute worst dentist ever. Not only did she do terrible work that I had to go get redone by a specialist and now in the end am having to have a tooth pulled because of Batra's mess up, but she is refusing to reimburse me the crazy amount she charged for a root canal. Not only did this happen to me but what coincidence it also happened to my sister, she had some fillings done by Batra that a different dentist had to fix. Batra charges way too much for her crap work. DO NOT GO THERE unless you have tons of money to blow and expect to get treated like crap when you ask them to make right on their wrong. read more

I had a cavity filled here and she was talking about leaving the whole time to her hygienist and they were planning their weekend in front of me, complaining about how they had to be there for my appointment. She drilled until she hit a nerve in my tooth exclaiming "Well I guess we're done with this one!" after I yelled with pain. She proceeded to fill my cavity which now a month later is not feeling the way a remedied cavity is supposed to. Never going back to this so called dentist. I don't care how many fancy hand waxes and massage chairs you have, it doesn't cover up your lack of professionalism and ability. read more

I've been going to Top of Troy Dental for about five years now. I love them, they're very pleasant and easy to work with. The office is super clean and modern. For a number of years, I didn't have dental insurance, and they had helpful options to make sure I kept in my usual dental routine. The dental hygienist is AMAZING, always very courteous and thorough. The Doctor is quick and friendly during checkups, and very efficient when she needs to do any dental work. The let you dip your hands in paraffin wax when you arrive if you want; that's maybe the only thing I wouldn't recommend if you already have some dentist anxiety - you have to sit through your cleaning with your hands in oven mits, soaked in hot wax... but boy do your hands come out smooth! read more

i have been going here for years and I absolutely love this office! yes, they do ask if you want to dip your hands in the paraffin wax when you first get there and that is cool.. the chairs are massage chairs and you have a great view looking out towards 16 mile rd..flat screen tvs are in every room and all the rooms are open so you can see everyone sitting in their chairs. The hygienist there are very good and spend a lot of time on your teeth. Dr Batra is very friendly and explains everything to you and takes good care of you. when you leave they usually have hand sanitizer and chapsticks at the checkout desk and in the lobby water and cookies for on your way out. i would recommend her! in fact, im going to see her next week read more

One star still is too much. Everything that doctor did for me and my wife had to be redone by a real doctor. Don't go here unless you like to endure pain for a long time and spend tons of money to get back on track again. She ruined two of my teeth doing an unnecessary root canal on one of them. read more
