However, we'd wouldn't mind paying more for really good work...so we checked the reviews on Yelp and contacted Aragonz Cleaning. Emely replied and visited the next day to assess the situation. My wife and Emely spent about 20 minutes walking through our place and had a friendly chat about various items. I thought Emely was very personable and she promised to send us an estimated cost for a monthly cleaning the next day. A few things to note. We live in the Trilogy development in Nipomo...our house is 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with 1,910 square feet, but the area to be cleaned is closer to 1,750...and people tell us we keep the property almost spotless. Emely's estimate was $750 for each visit. While I'm sure she'd do a very good job, that number seems to include what's called a "Trilogy premium". All of our previous cleaners were 2 person teams who spent 2-3 hours and charged $150-200. Regarding our rating - Emely and her crew might do a 5 star job, but her $750 request for a small tidy home was way off the mark. So 3 stars seems to be most reasonable.

I sent her a video walk through and explained that the dust needed to be cleaned from surfaces and the floors. Very basic things, which she agreed was not an issue. It should have been an easy job since nobody lived here and no furniture. The day of... she showed up very late, I had to call and ask when she was going to show up. She couldn't follow basic instructions on where the lock box was. She couldn't figure out how to open a basic sliding door. She refused to clean sticky residue because she didn't bring the right cleaning supply for it. She left and sent pictures after she left... not while she was still there in case I saw something that needed fixing. It was very hard to tell from the pictures how clean things were. I sent my neighbor over to check it right after the left... the door was left unlocked and the floors were filthy. She made an excuse for everything. Including the unlocked door... claiming she would never do such a thing. If the door was locked then my neighbor couldn't walk right in! He sent me videos moments after they left of dust and dirt on the floors. Again, so many excuses. When she finished she said she should have charged me more because I lied about how many rooms there were. Wow! What a way to treat a customer. Again, we had a phone call where I told her how many rooms, she had a video tour of each room, and she came in here for herself. She could have called before starting if there was an issue for her. Like a profession would have done. Lacking basic communication skills and blaming the customer for her inability to quote a job. I sent her these pictures of the filth and told her we were upset. Again, excuses and refused a refund. She said the dust from upstairs must have made its way down and since we requested no chemicals on the floor also she couldn't do her job properly. We were never told this would be such an issue for her. She claims to be a green cleaner on Yelp. So which excuse was it?? My neighbors hand that wiped the floors... shown moments after she left proves that it wasn't dust from upstairs. And my steam mop with water only seemed to get the dirt up easily. We could see circles of dust around the areas she pushed a mop. It was such a poor job. I would not hire this company or trust them in your home.

We hired this company for a deep clean of an empty house prior to moving in. We were told the job…read morewould be a "top-to-bottom scrub of the entire house" and were quoted 5-6 hours. The cleaner ultimately claimed to work 7.5 hours and requested full payment. After paying half upfront, we inspected the home and found that large portions had not been cleaned at all. There was visible dust throughout, hair still in drains, grease on the stovetop, residue on shelves and light fixtures, urine still on a toilet, and grime on the dining room floor. When my husband contacted the owner, he admitted he did not clean the master bedroom, master bathroom, or another guest bathroom, despite never disclosing this beforehand and still expecting full payment. During the call, he also attempted to shift blame by stating that "your wife said it wasn't a big deal," which is not true and was never communicated. The owner repeatedly justified the condition of the house by referencing "buildup," but could not clearly explain what that meant or why it resulted in so many untouched areas. Given the state of the home, it was unclear what work had been completed during the alleged 7.5 hours, as there were no visible results consistent with either a deep clean or a standard clean. The owner did return the following day to "finish the job." However, after the second visit, the house was still visibly dirty and not to the standard of a deep clean. At that point, we had already paid half of the quoted amount, and I still had to clean the house myself before we could move in. At no point were we informed that rooms were skipped, nor were we given the opportunity to address this before payment was requested. Based on the condition of the house after two visits, it did not appear that a deep clean -- or even a thorough standard clean -- had been completed. We are leaving this review simply to warn others so they can make an informed decision. Unfortunately, this was not the level of service that was promised or paid for.

The explanation given was that they were delayed on the Cuesta Grade. We scheduled the first cleaning for 2:00PM. At 7:30AM that morning, they contacted me to ask if they could come at 8:30AM instead due to a cancellation. While I understand that schedules can change, I was not able to rearrange my day on such short notice and asked to keep our agreed-upon time. They said that would not work for them, and canceled cleaning at all. Honesty and reliability are essential qualities in a service provider, and they don't seem to have either.

You wouldn't know it today because the house shines as though it were new. They cleaned things I didn't know were there and needed cleaning! Plus, everyone I had contact with was friendly and professional whether on the phone or by email. Their communication with me was great. I never wondered, "Are they coming?" They kept me informed. I would like to underscore that the cleaners were lovely people who took pride in their work - well-deserved pride. Although the deep cleaning service isn't inexpensive, it's worth the cost. There have been many times where my family and I were in a stressful situation and were in a better state when Guy arrived. He and his team took amazing care of our home. He wouldn't answer and was strange about it. I asked if he was able to disclose his findings, and he said no. He could have just said that from the start. His demeanor the whole time was unpleasant, and he did not want to answer any of my questions. We then got into a conversation about air sampling and I said it can be great and it has it's place yes, but it's not the only tool. He did not like that and became so hostile with me. He said it's the only way to detect mold and that he was the best in the business. Several times when I tried to respond, he said Will you let me talk?! He never explained his process when he came in. I let him know this and he said he told my husband. Problem is, I was the one home and was not aware what he would be doing. He was ineffective and clearly knows nothing about mold. He refused to complete the job, called me the problem, and laughed on the way out. I am thankful he left as he did nothing to investigate, and his demeanor was narcissist and hostile. I had another company come out and wow! I didn't truly understand how terrible my experience was with Guy until I compared it to someone pleasant and competent in the mold world. DO NOT USE THIS PERSON.
