We started this service about 4 months ago. Everything seemed fine but then there was little involvement needed after the initial delivery (that took a reschedule on their part - it was an omen). They were not the most consistent when it came to having service scheduled and then showing up. So we kept extra bottles on hand to cover for their expected mistakes. Things definitely got worse when we moved 1/4 mile down the road. 1/4 mile. I was like we had moved to Siberia. We are right at 75th Ave and Bethany Home. This is a major thoroughfare. Promised delivery on four (4) separate days and never delivered. I get once or twice but I called each time and was promised "By God they will be there." I was way too forgiving. I have requested cancellation of the service but I am looking forward to keeping the dispenser because I am confident they'll never show up to pick it up. They'll conveniently forget to take your empty bottles so they can charge you on your next bill and explain that bc you were in possession, it's a "rental fee". I canceled my service. I don't know what has happened to Sparkletts system but they are terrible! Every time I call it doesn't recognize my number. They say it's been updated but can never find my account. Even if I enter the account number it still doesn't recognize it. They switched me to every other week 1 bottle for twice the delivery fees. I called to fix this, said it would be fixed, still showing every other week on my account. I asked for a credit, it was ignored so I got fed up and cancelled. They then made a delivery instead of picking up my empty bottles and charged me $49! I called them and said they would pick up everything May 1st, they did not called again, then May 2nd they did not, called again, they did not, then May 6th...and what do you know it still hasn't been picked up. The last time I called I asked to speak with a supervisor immediately, she was not helpful, I asked if I would be getting a credit and if charges would stop auto withdrawal but all she said was it will be escalated. The water is great, but the service is horrible. I have had to call back the past 3 to 4 months to get my bill changed to the correct amount. They never credit me my money for my empty bottles I return, but they will always pick them up and add them to my bill. It's annoying having to call to make sure they're doing their job right and then on top of that it takes them forever to change the bill so I don't even know if I got my credit back because I don't get my updated bill until the next bill is out And then the next bill they forget to credit me so I'm in this continuous cycle... I canceled my service in the beginning of November 2023, I have spoked to customer service including a supervisor 3 times regarding my deposit, they have yet to return my deposit fee. When I spoke to the customer service person, she was uninterested and started humming/singing a song while I was talking to her. This is a horrible company, Costco should no longer associate with them, (In which I will be advocating for, write a letter to Costco to stop advertising for them) they will rip you off and be rude about it at the same time. I've noticed the water is tasting swampy, as in GROSS. I don't mind paying this price if it's delicious, but it tastes TERRIBLE. At first, it was good, but now it seems like they are getting it straight out of the public water supply, fluoride and all, ugh. We are extremely unhappy with PRIMO/Sparkletts. We had some incidents with a delivery driver who broke a full 5-gallon jug of water all over the floor of our office and then just left. He passed by me at the front desk and said, "One broke, it's a little wet," as he walked out and got in the truck. No apology, no offer to help clean it up, nothing. He was already gone by the time I got to the area and saw the enormous puddle of water in the middle of our office hallway. I even had to deal with products and tools in the area that got wet. I tried to file a complaint but clearly nothing was done about it when we saw he came back for the next delivery, we asked him why he left and he became argumentative and muttered rude comments under his breath while he was on the phone with someone in his earbuds the whole time. Had he even just apologized at the beginning and at least offered to help, we would be reacting very differently. I can't believe Sparkletts doesn't keep towels or even a small shop vac in their delivery trucks in case of emergencies like this. After the second incident, the owner of our company called PRIMO directly to file a complaint and was told he would get a call back in two hours and even after confirming his phone number multiple times we never received a call back. read more

Only to receive fluff & filler words from the reps & managers. You will get what they want to give you when they feel like it. I previously had a good experience using Sparkletts so I decided to sign up with them again a few weeks ago. What a mistake!! I should have read the reviews first - because they are all true! My first delivery (including the cooler) was scheduled to arrive on a Monday. The day came and went with no call or explanation as to why there was no delivery. Then the delivery unexpectedly showed up on Wednesday when I wasn't home. I made multiple attempts to get ahold of customer service, but they are unreachable! Their website and mobile application are completely non-functional. I have tried multiple devices and browsers with the same results. Since I have opened my account I have been unable to log in to my account, manage my account, or view when my next delivery is (although I doubt it will arrive on time). Calling customer service is a waste of time - the wait time is indefinite, and I cannot spend six hours on hold (seriously). Last time it was 3. It's not customer service or delivery service the seem competent but it's the company that's not hiring enough drivers and having new equipment. We had used DSWaters for years. Last year they stopped sending invoices, I called customer service and was told I would have to pay $2.50 per month if I wanted to receive an invoice. They had already raised prices, never knew when the water delivery was coming due to lack of invoices. I got a bill stuck on my door from delivery guy. It was $199.00. I called to pay and was told my account was sent to a collection agency. I was also told my bill was $459.00. I was charges for the past due, the water dispenser and 4 empty bottles. I have been using Sparkletts for 2 years. After canceled my service due to ( 1. the water quality is getting worse every time I receive, 2. increasing the price without notice, 3. Try to change me more on some thing I didn't order）， sparkletts still send you invoice with no reason. Last time, I found out my water taste like my sink water, (it wasn't the first time, it happened at least 10 times or more during my service, I have to call customer service every single time I feel my water is coming form sink water, and the next time, they delivery regular springwater again. Anyway, I canceled it, and returned the water have bad quality (which they said they won't charging me, but they still did) And it took they forever to pick up the water dispenser. We were with this company since the first month Frank L. started it up over 20 years ago as O'Premium water. Always had awesome service. No issues ever. Water quality always consistently good. The past couple of years they changed over phone centers, so phones were down quite some time. Schedules were always changing, but no big deal for me as I was always home. The billing was always off as they had a new system so I had to call every month to get it corrected, but it was easily done with no issues. Then they started lowering quantity limiting bottles per month and increased the price. So instead of 6 to 8- 5 gallon containers monthly They only allowed 4. The price increased to $65.00 a month for 4x 5 gallon bottles a month and $8 more a month for each 5 gallon bottle so I cancelled. The cost just did not out weigh the convenience. That included a cooler rental. I cancelled and purchased a top loading cooler with insta-hot for $159.00 and we now I spend $16 on water a bottles a month getting it myself. I miss them, but not the cost. read more

EDIT:The signup/delivery process was a disaster to begin with, but once everything actually showed up 4 days later, it was fantastic. I can't give 5 stars because the ball was dropped so bad in the beginning, but our delivery driver was awesome. He was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and made for a great experience. If this is what Sparkletts is actually about, I'm here for it. Set up was a breeze and I'm super excited for this business relationship to continue. They offered a discount code on their website for new sign ups, but they ran my card incorrectly twice in preparation for a water delivery that never showed up. They Emailed me to confirm my delivery but never showed up with any of the equipment or the water. I had to spend 25 minutes on the customer service line with them because they didn't respond to my email, and they were not able to answer any of my questions. The customer service agent, although very very nice, couldn't tell me anything beyond "the route is broken down." What does that even mean? The truck? The driver? They couldn't tell me when my delivery would occur, or why my card was charged incorrectly. When I asked to speak to someone that could answer my questions, there was no one available. No delivery, no water, no answers, but a double charge on my credit card. I'd seriously avoid this company like the plague. read more

Like almost everyone else that has posted - service is terrible. We are on our 4th cancellation of promised delivery. Every day cancelled, no response to emails that we send, my wife called today and was PROMISED we would see delivery and we just received the email saying no one would be coming to deliver today. When everyone you service is frustrated with your service and has clear examples of how your business has failed - how do you accept this? One days wages (over a three years of 20gal/mo bottle service lost to take a day off and if equating to wages lost) They want to reschedule and have me take another day off to wait on them??!!? Tried through Costco but family did not like cold water. Hard to cancel and because they don't prorate the bill you will have extra charges. No way to delete your credit card. Had dispenser in house 2 weeks, but so far 2 mos of charges. Also on set up I was told to be home for delivery. I was out in the morning, home by noon and delivery was to be after 2pm. Got home to the dispenser and 6 bottles left at my front door. Why tell me to be home so you can come 4 hours early and simply leave it? So a nice over $100 experience. Skip it and invest in reverse osmosis. Also, $12.99 delivery fee every 2 weeks...making that reverse osmosis breakeven even faster. read more

Definitely the worst water company. Where do I start? When I first started service it seemed great, consistent. Then they started delivering extra water practically every delivery, despite me changing it on their website. Okay, no big deal, so I started just skipping deliveries. Then they would still deliver and charge me. Called the company, got it *Mostly resolved*. Fast forward a few months, and they consistently wouldn't deliver water, so I got into the habit of just filling up bottles myself. Then they change their prices, with no notice. $3 extra per bottle? Yeah, thank god I got into that habit, and only got one or two bottles from them a month. And most recently my water cooler no longer produced hot water, and honestly probably needed maintenance because it was the 2nd refurbished model they gave me. It took 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS. I get an email each day saying they were going to deliver it, then another saying 'sorry, missed you due to covid'. I call in, and the lady says they've tried calling me each time. I have absolutely no missed or blocked calls, so I confirm my phone number. I finally get it delivered because the delivery guy calls me and says he noticed I skipped my water delivery, and if that was correct. I called in today, because we are once again dealing with charges of undelivered products. I told her to add to my account the next time you decide to bill me for something I didn't order, I will be cancelling my service. For reference, 1 bottle is 15.50 after deposit. What the hell is wrong with your company, and why can't you do what we pay you to do accurately? If I messed up at my job like this, I would be fired. Unfortunately like a few other reviews posted, this company start to add extra water bottles that weren't ordered and expect you to pay the fees for unreturned bottles. Which, in my opinion, is complete bs. Dispute changes on my end the system always goes against what I asked for. Nothing ever gets resolve. I was told that once the bottles were returned they'd disuse credit, since they charged for the bottles that remained with me because they delivered too many. I've no cancelled with them and have to pay an amount due even though they're getting the bottles back. DO NOT GET SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY. They'll be lucky to not be sued! read more

Zero rating! I am super frustrated with Sparklett's! We've been customers for at least a decade if not longer! We've always paid our bill on time! We were sent to collections without notice. No letter or phone call. They won't even talk to us! They say it's because we've gone to paperless and send everything by email! When I check the email someone gave them, I don't see any notifications about collections or invoices. Just the fluffy advertisements! When I look up their reviews on google, I am not alone! So many people talk about how they STOP getting bills and get sent to collections! Horrible company, horrible treatment of LONG standing customers!! Buyer beware!! Possibly the worst service I've paid for. When it works, it's very convenient- but it often doesn't. 1. My normal delivery dates were changed without notice. I only found out the day off the normal delivery because they weren't exchanged. I didn't receive an email, a phone call, nor a notification on the online account. Overall, inconvenient, but not enough for me to end the service. 2. The delivery fee and two-week schedule. They set it up so that you always have two delivery dates each month by default. Each delivery incurs a delivery fee. However, if you just cancel one deliver, and have all your water delivered for the month in one delivery, you can save on that second delivery fee but you have to call in each time to cancel that second delivery. You can't just tell them you only want one delivery each month. Inconvenient, but not the worst thing to happen. 3. No delivery when I'm told there will be a delivery. I recently added an additional delivery to my schedule using the online options. I received confirmation of the delivery- and then on the day of, nothing. No delivery, no email- nothing. I called and the representative said she can't do anything about it, so I spoke with a supervisor who called the "branch" (the local service) and requested a delivery the next day (for the incorrect amount of water jugs because she didn't bother to ask me). The next day I receive an email stating that the delivery is happening today- but then it just doesn't. I call back and they, again, can't do anything about it. 4. Possibly the WORST phone etiquette coming from the representatives. I spoke with a few that were very professional and polite, but then the rest sound like they have zero training and no manners/courtesy. I don't care to hear a rep talk to themselves for five minutes while they try to figure out what they're doing and them shouting "oh my God!" when they're getting frustrated with their own system. Basically, it comes down to the way their system is setup. The reps don't have solid communication with the branches/drivers and nothing seems to be connected to the online account. If I tell them I see something in my account, they say they don't see it and can't do anything about it. I have to say, the driver I spoke with, was as kind and professional as can be, and I was really impressed with the service from the start because of him. After that, it all fell apart with the abysmal service provided by the representatives and the online "app" (with broken links) and the online account. read more

$16.25 per gallon is what I averaged over 3 months with this company. I thought it was ridiculous when gas was five dollars a gallon. There's no way I'm willing to pay more than three times that amount for water. I started my service in May today's August 4. They have no charge me a total of $130 for eight bottles of water and the rental fee for the cooler of four dollars per month. Their bottles of water are supposed to be $6.99 for a 5 gallon jug. That's a max of $56 for water usuals and $12 for the rental. I have no clue how we got to $130 but I'm canceling immediately. Total scam and to make matters worse I set up on auto pay but they lost my payment information three months later and put my account on hold. read more

I hate to sound redundant to all of the other bad reviews for Sparkletts, but my experience with them had been beyond horrendous and I feel somewhat obligated to be transparent. I had service with Sparkletts for almost 8 years, and the monthly billing issues was frustrating but not enough to make me change service. However, after about the 10th time that they delivered water that I didn't order, I finally tried to put my service on hold and I pleaded with them to come pickup the 8 jugs of water that were incorrectly delivered because I didn't have anywhere to store all of the water that I never ordered. They setup four...yes FOUR different pickup dates but no one ever came to pick them up. The water sat on my front porch for six weeks...yes SIX weeks but was never picked up. I've never tried so hard to cancel a service before in my life, but despite the ease at which they charge you, they do NOT make it easy for you to cancel service. read more
