My boyfriend and I were excited when we saw the Sparkletts rep at Costco again. We thought we missed our opportunity when we didn't sign up the first time they were posted, so we jumped on it the next time. We received our initial delivery/set-up just fine. The machine, bottles, pricing -- everything was great. It was the perfect amount of water for two weeks. The next delivery was on time, but we did receive a little push back from the delivery guy. We live in a gated complex without an intercom system, so I made sure to include in the delivery instructions to call/text so either my boyfriend or I could come downstairs to let them in. The delivery driver asked for a key to our property, instead. Since then we have yet to receive a delivery. It's been eight -- EIGHT -- consecutive cancellations/no-shows with a polite excuse of "we're short on drivers" after I call to inquire what happened. The customer service reps apologize, continue to reschedule our deliveries, send automated updates for day-of deliveries, but to no avail. Oh, and they increased our delivery from 2 bottles to 4, doubling our would-be monthly bill. Thankfully I caught that. Of course the billing is another issue. We had charges during the month of no-shows. Credits were eventually applied -- after all, what service was I paying for? After the eighth no-show, I requested my account be cancelled and of course no one answered the transferred call (after holding for 30 mins). I would consider cancelling online, but I want to ensure our account is wiped clean as I'm not paying one cent for something we didn't have access to. Crossing fingers we can cut ties amicably and put this experience behind us. read more

If I could rate Sparkletts with 0 stars, I certainly would. I will say that prior to today, and to writing this review, I had given Sparkletts WAY too many chances to make all of their poor practices right. If you're looking for affordable, good tasting water, but lackluster service = Sparkletts is for you. But buyer beware... The billing is nearly ALWAYS wrong. I can't even count the number of times I've had to call in because I was billed for bottles I actually never received. You likely won't get your deliveries when you're supposed to and when you do, they're not correct. Whether the delivery just doesn't show up (for no reason at all), or customer service indicates you received a delivery (but your empties are still sitting outside), to even extra delivered with random bottles sitting on the front door step. Customer service? Forget about that... After spending MONTHS where every 2 weeks having to call the 800 number to have one of a dozen different service issues resolved, you would think they would do something to actually make the customer happy, but no... the only thing you get is excuses and "what I can do is get you set up for another delivery on the next available date"... like, what? Oftentimes that isn't even what I was calling for. The cancelation process... interesting. I had been with Sparklettes for in upwards of 8+ years and the service had steadily declined, with the worst being these last 6 months. So... I decided to cancel. Of course I get the standard "why" and when I began to list all of the reasons... this is the representatives response, "well, ma'am we do offer other services as well, such as coffee, etc." Again... what?! After the laundry list of reasons why I'm cancelling you're trying to sell me something else? So confused... I would say, steer clear unless you have the patience of a saint to deal with the interesting experience (to say the least) that comes along with your service (basically, you are your own service rep, so good luck). read more

Only one delivery so far and too many issues already. We will be discontinuing service and closing our account with Sparkletts. Delivery/sales rep did not come in for a unit setup and consultation as per email... Not a big deal, just the first sign of trouble. The day of initial delivery I opened the door to the rep walking away from the unit in the box on my door mat next to two bottles. Hearing the door open he turned around and simply asked, "Are you good?" In a bit of confusion I replied, "I guess so." And the he hopped in his truck. Later inside, I open the box only to find it's not the high end 300series unit I ordered, instead its their cheapest base model without any of the features I had signed up for. I called customer service to have it explained to me that they're in the middle of a shortage of the unit I ordered, that they have been for a while, and that they do not know when I can expect one... Why is that out of stock information not available on the website? Why are they continuing to process orders with product they do not have? Why did the delivery/sales rep not mention a major product swap during it's delivery? For some reason the rep stops back by the next day JUST to tell me the same thing I learned from my earlier customer service call. He also mentions not having a clue when they'll be getting in more of the units I ordered. He said it's already been months like this and they don't really tell him anything anyway. Nice. Two weeks later and I receive my first water delivery. Not the two 5gal. bottles I ordered, but only one bottle for some reason. Why? And to makes things weird, two guys showed up this time. Both walk up to the house but only one guy is carrying my one bottle, the other guy has nothing. The first guy sets down his bottle and then the second guy picks up my two empties... Why was this a two man job? Further more, two guys and they STILL got the delivery wrong? On top of everything else, I can't even access my customer account on the Sparkletts website. When attempting to log in I get a vague error message every time. I've been trying for a month now. I also can't access my customer account through their Water.com app. When attempting to log in I'm asked to set up access through the website, which I already cannot access. Seriously? Too many red flags and issues before the first bill even comes. Sometimes you have to realize a bad investment and cut your losses before more damage is sustained, ya know? read more

Ok, their water tastes good. Prices are not too bad. Signing up for new service is a breeze. But, if you are trying to cancel service... It is a horrible nightmare. First, all the numbers you are allowed to call to cancel service, be prepared to sit on hold for at least an hour before you get tired and hang up. Did that twice yesterday, and once again today. Finally, after calling for the fourth time (waited on hold for only 35 minutes this time), they pick up, and tell me they cannot pick up their equipment from my new house. They have to transfer the service to the new address. Ok, that makes sense. Here's the kicker... It takes 5 business days for their systems to accept the change of address, and then I have to call BACK to cancel my services. The customer service here is atrocious! I would give zero stars if I could. This company is a financial and waste of time trap! Easy to sign up on line. They brought bottled water and a broken water dispenser. They have lots of phone numbers but do not answer the phone. Some of their numbers don't even work. We started calling right away and for the following 3 days with as much as an hour long wait on the recording - no answer. Looked for a way to cancel and/or remove my credit card - can't be done. Sent a couple of emails that went unanswered. Their customer service email form states "This form can not be used to cancel." I received an email with an installation date and they never showed up, zero communication on their end either. I call the next day and wait an hour and 30 minutes on the phone to cancel my service, I was told they were "short staffed" in my area and are weeks behind. You expect me to believe that I am going to also get my water delivered every two weeks as well when you can't bring a small cooler and a few jugs the fist installation date? I was never able to login to my account online to manage my account. It logs in and flashes the home page and then literally errors out. I see errors in the console window. Their site is so broken it's inexcusable. I am currently on hold right now as I speak so I have some time to write this. I've been on hold for over an hour now and this is not the first time. I have sent them emails to cancel my service and tried to call them several times to cancel. This is ridiculous. read more

Have had Sparkletts Water for years at multiple locations. Always had wonderful service till the last 2 months. I changed the service to 4 bottles monthly to save delivery fees. Worked great the first month, then the next month we put out 5 empties and 5 bottles were delivered. Didn't call because we thought we could probably use the extra water due to the heat. The latest delivery (last Thursday) never arrived even though all day long my account status said water was on its way. Later I looked over my account to see what was going on and found that my account had been changed to "replenish" without any kind of heads up to me. Called customer service the next day Friday and was told that the earliest the water could be delivered was Monday. Now it's 12:30 on Monday and still no water delivery although it usually arrives in the morning. Called customer service again to ask to receive a call regarding some kind of time line. Was told by Shay that the driver has until 6 to deliver. I explained that I would like to have contact with someone so I know they can find my location. She said that was not possible and so I said well how am I going to be compensated for the missed delivery. She said that we do not compensate for inconvenience. Apparently losing a customer is OK with Sparkletts when they mess up, without even an apology or acknowledgement. Should be standard policy to deliver missed deliveries the next day. Shay then connected me to someone who, when I explained the situation, said that he would have the driver call me. That still has not happened though. Sad. UPDATE Just spoke with driver who said that my last week delivery was not on his schedule; I also never received the day before reminder voice mail. The driver gave me his contact information so that I could contact him in the future if there was an issue. He also told me that he was never contacted by customer service. Called customer service back to update my delivery address which no longer showed my apt number; they assured me they had my correct apt # 2 even though my neighbor, apt #1, received their delivery last week but I did not. Believe the Primo / Sparkletts merger messed up some addresses and changed people's subscriptions without notification. Drivers are very conscientious and working in 115 degree heat. Customer service personnel need more training; rudeness and lack of followthrough hurt. read more

I would give 0 starts if I could. You cannot cancel your membership online, you have to call them. Wait time is over one hour, then somebody answers and as soon as you say I want to cancel my account he sends you to another department and then you start to wait again. I have never been able to get somebody on the phone the longest I have waited is 2.15 min. They kept charging my for dispenser rental I couldn't cancel it for months because they don't answer. At the end I called my credit card company and they cut them off. Scamers...don't ever use them. There should be a class action law suit against them. I have been a Sparklett's water customer for three years after signing up with Costco. For the last three years, I have had only a few minor issues and overlooked them as not serious enough to bring up with their customer service. Last week, I noticed that our dispenser was leaking water and I had to keep a cup under the spout to keep the water from dripping onto the floor. Over the course of about twelve hours, an eight ounce cup was about one-third full. That's a lot of water leakage. I called CS and asked for a technician to come out to fix this problem. They told me that the soonest they could get someone out to fix the problem was one week later. They also told me that someone needed to be at home from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., which is absolutely ridiculous. I told the customer service rep that and she told me I could call them in the morning on the date of the service to ask the technician to call/text me before they arrived. This way, I could go about my business and rush home to meet them. Yesterday (October 17, 2018), I called their CS and was told someone would be contacting me prior to arriving at my house. No one contacted me all day and I called them back at 4 p.m. to see if anyone was going to be showing up. They told me they didn't know why no one called me. The woman I spoke to said she would contact a route service manager and he would be contacting me. You guessed it, no one contacted me. Today, I called to cancel my service. The CS rep I spoke to at cancellations, basically said they could refund me $10 for my trouble. I told her that that was not worth the time that was wasted that day and that I wanted to cancel. She told me that someone would be by next week to pick up the bottles and machine. She also told me I would have to wait from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to meet the person. I told her I was just going to leave it outside for them to pick it up. She warned me that I was responsible if it was stolen. First I wanted to change my delivery address on the website but for some reason you have to do that over the phone, which shouldn't be a big deal ... except that no one ever answers the phone ... so after spending 3+ hours on hold, listening to their pre-recorded robot lady, tell me over and over again "how amazing their service is and how much they value me as a customer" ... my water continues to be delivered to the old address ... which was when I decided to pivot my strategy and simply cancel the service ... easy solution right??? The water is great tasting, but the service is disorganized, billing is often wrong, and they can't figure out their own delivery schedule. As a result we sometimes get up to 8, yes 8 bottles!!!! Alternately, right now we have none and they missed delivery again today. So, we have zero bottles. I would call or go online to communicate, but I've done that before with no success or coordination, so why bother? I'm ready to find another vendor. Just not worth it. read more

I don't understand what is happening with them but they just stopped delivering water a month ago. I called a week ago, had to wait on hold for over an hour only to be given a stupid response and no real explanation on why I wasn't getting deliveries. They're not delayed in taking my money from my account but getting them to deliver is like pulling teeth. Horrible customer service. This company is bordering on being a scam. I would give 0 stars if I could. Recently I've had two issues: First was in May. They delivered a completely incorrect order. Like doesn't even make sense. I'm on a system where I leave my empty 5 gallon jugs and they replace them. Simple leave 1 empty get 1 new one. Leave 3 empties get 3 new ones. I left 3 empties and they delivered 1 and a 24 packs of individual bottles of water which I've never ordered once. It took me over an hour on hold to get a customer service. They offered to fix it and redeliver the next day and not charge me a second delivery fee. They did come out the next day but they charged me a second delivery fee for their mistake. Now I'm currently sitting on hold, we are over an hour of hold time, because of a new mistake. I skipped my June delivery. They just charged my credit card $42. For what!?!? There was no delivery. Nothing. My online account shows no invoice and now says my account has a $42 credit. Meanwhile, they won't answer the phone to resolve the issue. Mistakes happen but regular hold times of 90 minutes to fix frequent mistakes is not reasonable. I noticed their representative comes on here and replies to every single review to say how they are sorry and want to fix the problem and the mistake is not who they are. It clearly is who they are. Every review on here is negative. Maybe if they spent less time replying to yelp and more time actually fixing their company, they wouldn't have this problem. After several years of being with Ozarka/Nestle (actually more than two decades), I switched to Sparkletts for home delivery. I was thrilled with the every two week deliver and the range of products that we suddenly had access to. In fact I was spending probably three to four times as much each month with the addition of FIJI bottles and flavored waters. Then suddenly, a missed delivery. No explanation. No contact from Sparkletts to apologize and/or reschedule delivery. An email sent via the "Contact Us" form on the web site was completely ignored. The first call to customer service also went completely ignored with a ditzy CSR who talked in circles. The call ended with a promise to have a station manager call me to arrange delivery. Nothing. A second call to Sparkletts gave me a CSR who wondered why I showed a balance on my account and she hinted that "non-payment" might have been the reason my delivery was skipped. (Ironic in that my account is an auto pay account and has been charged monthly for the four months I had service.) The CSR questioned if I had put the card info in correctly (clearly yes since they had charged me for four months.) I was told I had been rescheduled for delivery THAT day and a station manager would call me. Nothing. At the end of the THIRD day, after no delivery and no contact, I called a again. (I did notice that the balance owed showed paid and backdated by three days.) Once again a CSR had no explanation as to why my delivery had been missed but indicated I had been rescheduled for delivery the following week. And once again, I was told a station manager would be contacting me but as it was now the end of the day on a Friday it would be next week. I advised that answer wasn't sufficient and asked for a supervisor. After a roughly 10 minute wait (clearly hoping I would just hang up), a supervisor came on and gave the same story; rescheduled, station manager would call, best we can do. I cancelled the service on the spot. There was no attempt to really rectify the situation. No attempt at trying to keep me as a customer. No attempt really to do the basics of customer service. Sad. There are better home delivery options. If you want home delivery of FIJI bottles you can get them shipped directly to your home with no shipping at www.fijiwater.com. so avoid Sparkletts. read more

Charged me for a delivery they never did; and now, when I just tried to go online and change tomorrow's delivery the website and the app are non functional - no matter which computer or browser I use. We've been customers of Sparkletts for some time now... around two years or so. We've never really had an issue, until very recently when we went to put our new five gallon container on the dispenser and whoa - we saw not just water in the sealed container, but something else floating in the water too... some kind of nasty looking thing. Whatever it is, I guarantee it's not supposed to be in the water. We're going to let our delivery person know about this asap, but if someone from Sparkletts reads this, I'd appreciate any advice you have... I'm hoping this isn't something you deal with often! Ditto to previous reviewers. We ordered through CostCo. Delivery the first time was fine, although he tried to get us to up our water order. Since then, every single order is wrong and my bill reflects the extra bottles dropped off that we did not order. When we call to have them correct the order and pick up the extra bottles, between wait times on hold and having to escalate the issue because the normal call center people can't help us, it sucks up and hour of my life. Currently I am staring at a bottle that was guaranteed to be picked up by yesterday. Today I've spent 45 minutes on the phone only for them to tell me they can't pick it up for two weeks. That's unacceptable to me so have to escalate it again. I'm currently awaiting a call back. I highly recommend buying a dispenser at Walmart and filling bottles at Winco. Even if you buy a new dispenser every year, it would cost less. Technically it's more work but not when you add in the frustration level and time to correct bills and orders. read more

Absolutely awful experience. I used Sparkletts in college back in 2014/15, and when my roommates and I moved out of our apartment we thought we had cancelled our service and arranged for a pickup of the water dispenser. I just received a call from collections (YEARS LATER) to say that I needed to return the dispenser or pay $258. Turns out no one picked it up and I'm now being charged the money, with them saying that because I don't have a confirmation of the pick up, it's therefore my fault. On top of this, when I called customer service they said there's an additional account (in my name) at this same location (where I haven't lived for the last few years) and that as soon as someone starts getting water delivered there again, it'll still be in my name. So now I'm having to stress about the same thing happening years from now. If Sparkletts can help me with this issue I will gladly change this review, but with my experience so far this is all I have to say. The lady I spoke to at customer service was kind, but all she could say to me at the end was "just don't leave your dispenser somewhere when you move out". Super helpful, thanks. read more

Agent said they would issue a credit. I have received no credit and now am on hold trying too contact them ( 57 minutes and counting.) How do you run a company like this ???? I would never recommend. I'm so upset with Sparkletts water delivery service they don't even worth one star. Their delivery always follow their routine but not what you chose. They just want to take your money without treating their customer fairly. I could remember there were at least three times they send me water without following my schedule. Most of the times I just gave up as I could eventually use them just waste some delivery fee. But last time on 7/27 I knew I was moving soon so I call their CS to stop that delivery and told them that delivery was not authorized by me. A customer service agent told me he handled that already and the water delivery date would be skipped, but guess what? Of course water still delivered and I got charged on delivery fee and water fee. I call again on 8/4 another agent told me that fine if I don't use they won't charge me and would pick them up when they come to pick up my other used bottle (scheduled on 8/9). Yesterday 8/15 I got back to my old place to clean up and officially move out from my previous home, I saw only used bottles were picked up but not those unused. So end up I might lose my money on first delivery charge and then bottle deposit and hopefully that's all possible money I could lose. Oh, did i mentioned every time I have to wait like 1-3 hours for a CS to pick up my call (and pretended to help me out but the result I never got helped). At first we started our Sparklettes service in Flagstaff 4 years ago. We then moved to then Phoenix area and our service tanked drastically. We have over 25 bottles at our home that the delivery driver has yet to pick up for over 2 months!! They don't follow instructions on where to deliver the bottles, they don't take the empty bottles, they left a broken one, and this has all been escalated to the branch manager and we haven't had a response for over a week. Completely unprofessional. We will be cancelling our service once we get this issue resolved. read more

I never had a problem with delivery but I didn't need the service so I cancelled. After cancelling, I received an invoice for $10. I called to refute and was told it was for the deposit on the bottles which I had already paid when signing up for the service. They actually owed me $15 for the bottle deposit I paid upfront ($5 deposit X 3 bottles= $15 deposit). They apologized and said they submitted the credit and told me it would take 4-6 weeks to process. This was in November. In early January, they withdraw an unauthorized $10 from my account. I call again (about the 4th time). They claim that because the credit hadn't been approved, the invoice payment processed. Now that it is the end of January, I still have not received the refund that they owe me and they tell me it's going to be another 4-6 weeks. This is criminal. They stole money from me and are holding onto it for 4-5 months if I ever get it back. COSTCO you should be ashamed of promoting a company like this! read more
