I got quotes from three companies. These guys were not the cheapest, but they were more professional, seemed more knowledgable and are fully insured. I have have done more business with window washers than maybe anyone you know. I did not expect too much, with Sparkle, they were driving 45 minutes to my old farm house. We have more than 1000 window paines in this old craft mans style two story home. Well, the returned phone calls were so prompt and professional, that this is the first time I did not get three bids! I thought, even if I were to get a better price, this is old fashion, conscious service that you do not easily find in the Hill Country anymore. Am I happy with the work and the results that got with this old house ? Heck, YES ! The window washers were a few minutes early, and all stayed busy until everything was clean. They cleaned up after themselves , and were so pleasant. They could not look any different from each other , looks can be deceiving ! They worked so well together? I'm so impressed! I had an excellent experience dealing with this company. Here's a list of great qualities I witnessed: 1. The crew got to my house 15 minutes early for the noon appointment. This is a far cry from most companies that show up 30 minutes late. The crew I recommend is David and Nick's team. 2. Before they began, we discussed the estimate. The crew asked me to call the manager (Joseph) before we began to make sure the estimate would be accurate. The manager was incredibly easy to communicate with. When I asked the manager if I could pay before the work began, he told me they always wait until the job is done and the customer is satisfied. 3. As they began, one crew member started on the exterior windows while the other went inside to take the screens off the windows. The crew member who went inside put show covers on his feet to protect my clean floor! Wow! 4. The 34 exterior windows and 9 interior windows looked spotless within two hours and the screens were cleaned and replaced without any mess. Seriously, it was like elves came in and cleaned my windows. 5. I called the office to have my credit card charged for the service and Karen, an office staff member, was equally wonderful. Wow, it's always amazing to find a company that actually still believes in customer service and seems to value you as a customer. First, let me start with the rush-rush, gotta get it done attitude. Last minute, we decided to look for someone who could come and clean a conference room table glass overlay. Table is about 16' with the tops being in two approximate 8'. We also have a credenza and some light fixtures that needed to be cleaned. When I asked if someone could come, I was assured that an op mgr would come that day. When no arrival, I called. The (what I soon learned to be the Pres.) asked me what time would be good the following day. I said 9:30. He said op mgr would be there. Next day, still no show, no call to boot and 45 minutes later from the scheduled appearance time, the op mgr still could not come just to give me an estimate. So, I did what anyone else probably would do - I called to inquire about the missing op mgr. The lady I had been speaking with (I know the name but won't further embarrass) asks me how old I am. When stating close to 50, she laughs and says - oh, so you know about the assume comment? I said yes and asked if it was she that was being made one. I asked if the op mgr was an owner of the company - she says no. I asked if the owner of the company was aware of the lack of communication that was taking place. She asks if I want to talk to the pres (and calls by his name, so I put 2 and 2 together to realize same guy who had made the appointment for his op mgr to be at our place of business that morning). I said ok and commenced to ask him did they even value our business. He was kind enough to tell me on that call he would see me in under 30 minutes to give estimate. Great quote, I won't lie. He told me 8 people 4 hours (which I found hard to believe in first place) but the 3 people for an hour made our conference room table look outstanding. And yes, I got a call back from the lady who apologized about the inappropriate comment. All in all, good work, just lacking in customer service. If you can get by that, they will do a nice job for reasonable money. read more
