He was a god send, and I now know that. My intuition told me to see him first. He turned out to be a real healer type doctor. He is here to save your teeth and not a sales person like so many other dentists. He is unbelievably good. First he had decades of experience, not someone with few years in the practice. His seasoned masterful skills and intuitions born of treating many people over many years. That is what I trust. And he's kind, truly cares about your wellbeing. And I saw him humanitarian from what he does to help his patients. The pressure of conforming to society and worrying and force masking myself to please whoever I was around wore me paper thin. OCD was making my life smaller and smaller every year. But now, after showing up and continuing to try things that specifically made my skin crawl and learned how to sit with it, I am back to living a relatively normal life. I leave my home whenever I have to (sometimes I even WANT TO ) and I'm back to handling whatever life throws at me without compulsing and avoiding for hours every day. Finally at 1127am... Follow up response owner asking me to call -- Why should I waste more of my time for you to improve ? It's called communicate with your patients honestly, better scheduling and don't stack appointments back to back. No one apologized for the extremely long wait or offered us to leave and come back as someone offered that option to the patient scheduled after us.

A couple technicians came out and said they would get her in shortly, but then another technician came out and said my daughter had been removed from the schedule because we didn't confirm. When I explained what the front desk had told us about the system issue, she said it didn't matter because they were no longer taking 4 PM appointments. When I said maybe we should just leave, she said yes, we should. The manager who we have known for a very long time was standing there during this entire interaction and didn't say a word. After nearly 10 years as patients, being told to leave over what appears to be a system error was shocking. There are plenty of dentists in the area who are actually "gentle" and treat families with kindness and respect. We will be taking our family to one of them instead. I hope the office takes a closer look at how situations like this are handled in the future so other long-time patients aren't treated the same way.
