She took her time with my teeth cleaning as well and made the experience so personable. The bathrooms are always stocked and clean. I was a patient of this dental practice for the last couple of years. Changes in insurance meant I have to find another dentist, but I wanted to spread the word about them. Brosy Family Dentistry and their staff provided the best care I've ever had. Their office is spotlessly clean, patients are asked to wash their hands and use a mouth rinse prior to the exam. No question is too small or unimportant and there is never a wait. The front desk even worked tirelessly to straighten out insurance issues. I truly wish I didn't have to leave. read more

I was in need of a new dentist and I approached Brosy Family Dentistry several weeks ago about taking my wife and I on as new patients. They were extremely helpful. After filling out the new patient intake forms on line we were scheduled almost immediately for a dental exam. Afterwards, there being no dental problems, my wife and I were scheduled for cleanings fairly quickly. I was seen at this office for a little over a year. I had two cleanings, and I saw the Dentist two times. I had some recession on my lower front two teeth from braces ( orthodontia). I asked both the Dentist and the Hygienist on multiple occasions if I need to see a specialist ( Periodontist ). The answer was "no the gums look healthy and pink with no bleeding." So you know....There are measurements which determine whether a patient needs to see a specialist or not. It IS'T based on color of the gums and no bleeding.....At the second cleaning I told the Hygienist I want a referral to a Periodontist. She said I didn't need to be referred and asked the Dentist to come in and take a look. The Dentist said I do not need to go. I asked for a referral and made an appointment with Dr. Kenneth Lang. The amount of healthy gum on the lower front two teeth should be 3 millimeters ..... I had ZERO millimeters of attached gum. Dr. Erin Andersons office has two Dental violations....one being "supervised neglect" and the other " standard of care." Gross negligence. Dr. Kenneth Lang said to schedule for a mucogingival graft on my lower front two teeth.... I asked my previous employer to take a look......After his evaluation, he told me that I first needed a "frenectomy" due to the fact the frenum between the lower front two teeth was pulling down the gumline. I was further told by my former employer that if I went ahead and did the "mucogingival graft" I would not be able to have the "frenectomy" done...... Dr. Kenneth Lang in Reno, is the Periodontist that Dr. Erin Anderson sent me to. This man is NOT anyone I would send anyone to. My former employer did the frenectomy then after that healed he did the mucogingival graft. He did not charge me.....if you are wondering about the additional treatment needed...and possibly he might be adding more cost for his office production quota.... Another problem is with this Dentist. She is tentative....and I should have known better from my dental experience...35 years. I asked her if she would be interested in taking off some tooth bonding I had put on 5 years ago. I had a small space between the eye tooth and the one in front of it on both sides. The orthodontist said to get this done because it would eliminate the spaces giving me a nice smile. I never liked it. I asked Dr. Anderson if she would consider removing the bonding. She said "yes." I told her it not a request she gets I am sure. She said she doesn't get that kind of request. At the appointment she used a drill......NOT a "lightening strip." ( a thin piece of sandpaper that goes in-between teeth ) After a while she stopped with the drill and said she wasn't comfortable continuing and that there is an area suspicious of decay ( I wasn't told this when she saw me weeks before this procedure......) She further said she's evaluate that tooth at the six month cleaning for a filing. ( I have two small tooth colored (composite) fillings on my molars) I went out of state to see the Dentist who put the "bonding" on those teeth, and to ask his opinion. We was my Dentist for 25 years. He took a look and said given my homeware and history of no decay forever, as well as it being on an easy to reach tooth to clean....that this was caused by Dr. Erin Anderson!!!!! He further told me he has to put a tooth colored filling (bonding) on it. This should have NEVER happened EVER. Now you can see my comment about "tentative" ....I did speak with her recently to let her know and of course she denied doing it. To me reflecting back on when Dr. Anderson was "attempting" to remove the bonding....when she abruptly stopped and was quiet for some time...not continuing I knew something was wrong. When she said she was concerned about the integrity of the tooth and not wanting to remove more of the bonding I should have known.... The Dentist that put the filing on my tooth confirmed my suspicion. Now for the Hygienist. I was told that adult cleanings are one hour. My first cleaning was 40 minutes. My second cleaning was 25 minutes including polishing and flossing. When I asked the front desk about that I was told that "the hygienist is given one hour and if finished sooner that's OK." I did let Dr. Anderson know....and she didn't seem concerned at all. I would not recommend this office to anyone. read more

I cannot say enough about this dental office. From the ladies at the front desk to the assistants, it has been the best experience I have EVER had and I have been to a lot of dentists. My first visit was short and sweet with the usual first appointment except when I walked in the first thing that caught my eye was a super cute letter board welcoming ME as a new guest! My second visit was much less fun dealing with the dental work but the ladies were sweet, fun, and even shared some funny stories with me. When it came to the fillings (yikes) Dr. Andersen and her assistant were like a well oiled machine, quick and to the point, they knew what they were doing and they were confident. I mean I have never seen a filling done so quick and effective before in all my dental experience. I have a laundry list full of dental work that needs done and I finally feel relieved that I found an office I trust and love so much to help me finally achieve my smile goals. It makes me emotional. I was disgruntled with my previous dentist and was referred by a friend to Brosy Family Dentistry. I found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. The steps they took to screen me for COVID were thorough , appropriate, and appreciated. For my first visit my teeth were thoroughly examined and cleaned. I met Dr. Erin and she was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable of the types of dental issues I was facing. She asked very good questions and explained to me what to expect in the future with my teeth given the care and wear they had been receiving. Honesty and confidence in that I was in good hands with her and her staff are qualities I appreciated. I was impressed with every aspect of my visit. I can't speak highly enough about this office. Been a patient for 25 years. Dr. Paul (retiring shortly) has always done great work. Difficult fillings on the lower front teeth roots always stay in. This week, I came in because my periodontal hygienist said I had a cavity. Dr. Paul looked closely, and said "No, you don't have a cavity." No charge for the visit. But, every person that I spoke to at this office was friendly and caring and the hygienist was very sociable and gentle with cleaning my teeth. As someone who suffers terribly from dentist anxiety, I can't recommend this place enough. The two times I have been to this office have been the easiest and least painful visits of my life. The doctors make you feel comfortable, the assistants are so sweet, and the front desk ladies are amazing too! I also feel in control of my own treatment there which is important to me. I've had other dentists try to scare me into procedures which only made me avoid taking care of things that I know I needed to. I made an appointment here after seeing good reviews here on Yelp. I am so happy I did! I felt welcome right away because. I'm assuming as a new patient, they have a little white board by the desk on the wall that said "Welcome Wendy!" After having to go to dental clinics, this is what I had in mind. I was apprehensive anyway, assuming I'd have to get a root canal, but Dr. Anderson saw that that may not be necessary, and after two fillings, my noticeable hole was gone and I had no pain even after the Novocain wore off! Just went to this dental office for a cleaning after moving to the area. They were amazing! I worked with CJ and Cindy to get my new client questionnaire completed and my latest x-rays sent over to them. Then they called me about a half hour later and let me know they had a cancellation and could fit me in that same day. I was also impressed with my dental hygienist, Sheri, and Dr. Erin. They were super friendly and did a thorough job of cleaning and examining my teeth. Their location is convenient for bicycling to, which is a big plus, since I try and bike commute as much as possible. I had not been to the dentist in awhile so I did not have a primary dentist I could call for help. I was having excruciating pain in my tooth neck and jaw and could not speak very well with the pain. My mother called in for me as she is a patient of Dr Brosy's office and they were kind enough to get me in early in the morning that same day as a new patient. I went in, had X-rays taken and Dr.B determined that a root canal was needed as soon as possible. Dr. Brosy got me referred to High desert Endodontists specialist that same day and I had my root canal the very next day!! I am now recovering from my root canal with the normal and expected after pains of the procedure but the pain I was having before hand is gone and I owe it all to Dr.Brosy and his office and Dr.Fullmer at High desert Endodontics and his talent! I was absolutely terrified of the pain and the unknown of a root canal but Dr. Fullmer made sure I was completely numb and 100% comfortable, sure enough I didn't feel a thing and the procedure went smooth and quick! I will definitely be returning for all normal check ups and referring all my clients to these amazing places !!
