This spa is a local favourite and I can see why. Had a really nice session. The price here is lower than most other spas. No attitude, all smiles and giggles, and the spa is very clean. Everything was very easy to book or change and the person who helped was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I wish the front rooms had a bit better soundproofing as you can hear most of what is going on in the lobby. Get on their mailing list if possible. No showers are available and parking can be limited if you happen to come at hours when the strip mall might be operating at a peak. I have had appointments with several of the therapist. Robert, Stephan and Marcia. All sessions have been clean, professional and do wonders to relieve my pain and stress levels. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the work. Decor is minimalist and calming not high end fancy spa (where i have paid 4xs as much). The energy is welcoming and calm. It pains me to write this review, because I genuinely like everyone who works here, and the massages have been great. So why the two-star review? Good question! So, I am a "member" and pay a monthly membership fee for massages at a reduced price. I was going to this location twice a month, without fail, for the past six or more months. I recently went in for my usual massage, with my usual massage therapist. I got undressed and he started the massage. Everything seemed fine until about midway into the massage, he started coughing and literally coughed all over me! At one point, I watched him cough into his hand, dispense some oil to his hand, and then he resumed massaging. Now, I probably should have walked out when this started happening, no doubt, but I thought, surely it is just allergies or something. I am a regular customer. However, it was much later in the evening, early morning that following day, when I developed a scratchy throat and started coughing, too. I texted the owner to let her know what had happened. She texted me back, "I'm so sorry. I told him he shouldn't be working. He insisted he's fine and not contagious. I'll give you a back scrub or CBD on your next massage. Would that work for you?" Say what? I am not sure what I was expecting but it was not that response. Now, I applaud her for her honesty, but she admitted she knew he was sick and did not do anything about it. This means you put the money ahead of a loyal customer's health and safety! If there was any question, he should have been wearing a mask! If there is one thing we learned, or should have learned, from the pandemic is that what may be just a mild cough for one person, can literally kill the next person. I recently lost a close friend from the flu! Died, in her forties, from the flu! Anyway, needless to say, I ended up at urgent care a few days later and on ten days of antibiotics from this encounter. Then, to add salt to the wound, I was doubled charged.! I had been charged my membership price a day or two prior to my massage so I should have had a massage available to me to use, but was charged again, full price. I texted the owner. She texted me back, "Ugh sorry to hear. The payment on 6/28 should have applied to that massage. Normally you are charged every other time. I just refunded you that charge and emailed you." So, long story short, if you are a "member" here, check your statements, Friends! And,, based on my recent unhealthy encounter with this establishment, I would NOT recommend a massage. My neck and shoulders have been sore all week, I decided to treat myself and get a massage, first I attempted to find a deal on Groupon, Living Social, Local Amazon - however everyone offering a deal were completely booked for the next several weeks, so I figured I would just forget the coupon idea and called Spatopia, not only could they see me within the next hour but they also offered a 10% Yelp Check-in deal! score! I was booked for an 80 min. therapeutic massage with Rosie, she was very pleasant and her technique was incredible, she hit all the right spots with hard pressure, she also applied hot towels which really complimented the massage. No this isn't a luxury spa, they advertise themselves as affordable and relaxing and that's exactly what they are, no snooty attitudes or outrageous prices, the salon is very clean and simple, with spa music playing in the room and dim lighting. The room was comfortable and not claustrophobicly small like many other salons, once I was done there was a little cup of water left for me at the receptionist's desk, the receptionist was also very pleasant. Spatopia is open 7 days a week from 10 am-10 pm! The pricing in exchange for the experience is an amazing value, making it 5 stars all the way! read more

A bit rude or stereotypical, but what's new in the world, right? I ask for one hour massage but when the bill came out to $89 dollars i asked what happened to the $69 massage? His answer to my complain was..." did you enjoy it?" I was speechless and couldn't believe his idiotic answer! I did pay the $89 dollars and left as it wasn't worth to argue and bring back the stress that I went there to elevate it in the first place. I passed by here about 1000 times over the years but never checked it out. My back and neck were really tight so I called and made an appointment. I got there and was positively surprised. The place is very large with many spa rooms. The manager was extremely friendly and explained my options. I selected an 80 min deep tissue massage. " Ping" was the best massage therapist I ever had. She had hands of " steel"! She worked over all the " tight" areas and gave me an incredible massage. The 80 minutes were a must! I love this place ! I have been coming here for a few years. When I am in town , I always come in a few times. It's not the fanciest looking place from the outside but once you open the doors, the atmosphere is relaxing, clean and quiet and the prices are reasonable. The front desk is always welcoming and there are always appointments available. I have had a few different therapists - Rosa, Matt, Bill. Everyone is nice , listens to your concerns and gives great massages. Due to some Back issues, I was in need of one. My regulars weren't available so I booked with Natalie. OMG! Soothing music. You won't find 1200 thread count Egyptian cotton or anyone with a snotty attitude. You will find a good massage at a good price. The perfect combo for us hard working folks who get a little stressed out from time to time. At this rate you could easily make it a monthly habit. Came here on a business trip and got an appointment right away when I called at 5pm. Probably not a good sign, but my back was stiff from sitting at a desk all week. I was promptly seen by Mollie. She seemed friendly enough at first, but once the massage began, she let her political thoughts be known - from thinking the Florida bear hunt was a great idea to thinking Cecil the Lion deserved to get killed in cold blood because it ended up ruining the dentist's life to saying the homeless shouldn't be fed because they defecate in public - notwithstanding her political rhetoric, she talked way too much. She didn't listen to me when I told her to adjust the pressure. When I said "a little harder", she went from 2 to 10. When I asked her to dial it down, she refused. I had bruises under my shoulder blades the next day. The massage just wasn't great and I was pretty disappointed. I think the spa was okay. The front desk receptionist was very nice and helpful. First thought when I walked in was that it smelled amazing. Very clean and fresh. I believe it was eucalyptus. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and filled out a quick questionnaire (I arrived about 15 mins early for this just in case). I was introduced to Katie who then escorted me to a decent size room. The lights were dimmed just enough with a faint glow from an art piece on the shelf just beside the massage table. Katie excused herself while I got a bit more "comfortable". The massage table was lined with warm fresh linen and I instantly felt relaxed. On went the music and the relaxation commenced. To be perfectly honest, I didn't think Katie would be capable of a deep tissue massage due to her petite size/frame but I stood corrected. KATIE, YOU WERE AMAZING! I will be coming back. I worked with Rosa all three times- she is wonderful! The online reservation system makes it easy to make an appointment. The staff is abundant and it seems likely to make same day appointments! The strip mall plaza is an unfair welcome as it is peaceful and tranquil inside. They offer many different services from massages to facials. Their prices are comparable to other local businesses.
