This is the exact kind of place that I like to do business with. Smallish store run by folks that KNOW what they are doing, are courteous and professional, providing services at very reasonable prices and incredibly responsive. I found this place on yelp and requested a quote for upgrading my Dell tower. I wanted to add 16g of ram to the 8g that it came with as well as add a relatively simple video card to replace the onboard video it came with. After some discussion via text TJ came back with a price that blew me away. I brought my machine in the next day and had it back in a few hours that same day. The machine was considerably faster and was just what I was hoping for. I had however lost the sound to my speakers and quite frankly thought I had done something wrong. Well after almost two weeks of unsuccessfully trying to solve the problem I called TJ and he told me to bring it in. Within minutes he diagnosed the problem, installed the most current driver for the sound and bingo in literally less than ten minutes had everything working perfectly. He then explained that Windows had probably overwritten the old driver during an update and worse yet would not allow me to update it. This type of service made possible by knowing exactly what he is doing is priceless. This morning after not using my (two-year-old) HP computer all day yesterday, I got an error message that the fan was not working and that I should not run it until it was repaired. I looked up how to repair it and watched a couple of YouTube videos. Eventually I decided I needed professional help. Based on some excellent reviews I called Spaulding computers and brought it in the same morning. The owner TJ graciously stopped whatever he was working on to try and diagnose my issue. He opened the case and some small bits of plastic and a screw fell out. He kept reassuring me the falling plastic pieces happens. The screw could have shorted out the motherboard. His diagnostic fixed my issue! He did not charge me a penny. I left a small tip and told him he will be my new repair shop for electronics. Great experience bringing my computer here. Diagnosed what happened with my computer really quickly, and TJ did a really great job explaining it to me comprehensively but in a way I was able to understand. My motherboard was fried, but he still took some time at my request to do a search ​for any reasonably priced replacement motherboards. Couldn't find any, but I appreciated the effort since my computer wasn't very old at all. Got my data recovered and the computer recycled. Only thing I was charged for was the data recovery, and it was a very reasonable price. Whole thing took way less time than I was worried it would take. Spaulding was fantastic! I had a broken hinge on my laptop, and was offered both a less expensive option that might work, and a more expensive option that would probably work. I was encouraged to try out the less expensive option, with the assurance that the more expensive option could be explored if the first didn't work. It did! Even better, when I brought my repaired computer home, only to find the screen no longer working, I called in and was told to bring the computer in again. The problem (a loose connection) was fixed in a matter of minutes at no extra charge. And he triple-checked the hinge to make sure it was holding up. Positive Experience & Excellent Service. My laptop had been severely damaged : broken hinges, broken frame, and broken charging port. I went to geek squad and they estimated repair to be more than the laptop cost. I spoke Mr. Spaulding who reassured this could be fixed, he then worked his magic and fixed all the problems. He even ordered parts directly from the manufacture and charged me 1/3 of what I was expecting to pay with geek squad. Also he did this all in under a week! Needed a relatively simple repair for my iPhone 6-a new speaker. Went to the Apple store and they, of coarse, wanted to "replace" the phone for $300. My son dropped and shattered his iphone Friday night at school. I texted the number for Spaulding to ask if they could fix it the next morning (Sat AM) and was so amazed when they responded that night via text that they could fix it first thing in the AM.
