After hearing and reading great reviews, I decided to book my next facial here. The staff was super friendly upon arrival. Once checked in, I was brought to another area of the spa, then to the "retreat room" to wait. The ambiance and environment was perfect for a spa. The aromatherapy, zen music, flameless candles, etc. After waiting 5mins, was brought into the facial room. The esthetician was very friendly and I was excited to finally relax and start my facial. Well that was a big disappointment!!!! My time was cut by 10mins and the facial was no more than a cleansing and moisturizing. Maybe I went on an off day, but It was not worth the money and unfortunately I will not book another appointment there. Good luck if you go and I hope you have a better experience there. read more

Went for a 100 minute birthday massage this past Sunday. My masseuse was Jack and he was wonderful. The place was super clean, affordable, really peaceful and quiet. It's definitely a few steps up from other "chain-y" massage places because it has a day spa feel to it... complete with a zen tranquility room. You forget you're in a shopping plaza for a minute lol I also liked how the subscription service benefits are mentioned at the end very nonchalantly... without feeling like I'm talking to a mall kiosk salesman. I left feeling truly relaxed. Will definitely be back to try other services. read more

I literally was crying in my pillow. I kept telling him to please do a soft massage. He was digging his nails into my skin, bending my body hurting me like i was at the chiropractors office. I just wanted a massage soft massage to help relieve stress. It was horrible. I was looking forward to this day and it was absolutely horrible i left with more pain than what I went in with. The management very rude . I was 10 min late due to some unavoidable circumstances . I asked them if they cannot do justice and are going to shorten the treatment then to reschedule me . But she said you could reschedule but I will charge you 50% of the money for rescheduling . I decided to go ahead with it as I did not want to pay for nothing. But my treatment was significantly cut short I did not get a facial massage at all. I got the mask for like two minutes. Steam for a very short time. . I was done in like 20 min . I paid for a 60 min facial . I came out feeling very upset and that's not what you should be feeling after a spa. This was my first time there. I believe that there should be room for a little bit of adjustment. When I told the manager who (refused to give me her last name by the way ) that I am going to complain she told me even if I complain the complaint is going to come back right to her kind of telling me that there is no point in making a complaint. To make matters worse the lady with her at the front desk said ( I do not know her name) oh what should we do to make you feel better should we get crumpets and tea very sarcastically f. No body expects crumpets and tea but they do expect service that they pay for. No customer should be made to feel like this especially in a spa . The girl who did my facial was good though she was only doing what she was asked to do . I do not recommend this place . For God forbid something happens in your life and you can't make it in time they are going to keep50% of your money or take your money and cut short your treatment significantly . read more

I had a spa day with both a facial and massage. I am not typically a facial lover, but Jessica the aesthetician really impressed me with her ability to listen to me and tailor the products to best suit my skin. I left glowing! When I originally scheduled my appointment, the spa's manager recommended a massage therapist to help with the significant shoulder pain I was experiencing for weeks. While briefly consulting with me and hearing about the location of my pain, the therapist knew that my pain was actually stemming from my neck, not my shoulder, and knew how to alleviate the pain. The experience was not what I was expecting. I choose this place as a birthday gift to myself. The spa is very clean and the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The facial left my face dryer than when I arrived. I'm glad that I travel with moisturizer and sunscreen. The esthetician was trying to sell me on a membership during my service. Not sure why they had me fill out the survey beforehand, I explicitly said don't bring up membership unless I initiate. I also didn't get the scent and type of music I selected. I have been coming to Spavia in Clark Commons for several months now and I must say the service is second to none. I originally started coming here as I had previously worked with Debbie M and wanted to continue seeing her for private massage sessions. I have dealt with a lot of pain in my upper back and I can honestly say that she has helped it enormously. I could feel a difference from just my first session and have continued to see progress as I've continued. I was so impressed by Debbie M (as always) and the warm inviting atmosphere of Spavia that I even purchased a membership and do not regret it one bit. I know that whenever I come to Spavia and see Debbie M that I can guarantee I'll have the best service and always do! I highly recommend trying out Spavia in Clark, especially Debbie M for a massage. I liked this place. I was looking for a last minute very needed body massage and finally landed upon Spavia. They booked me over the phone and had me scheduled immediately for the same day. I received a signature 60 min body massage and added a foot and hand treatment. I don't think the foot and hand treatment was really worth the time or money but the massage was wonderful. I thought Jack was gentle like I requested and was mindful of my tension areas. It's a little small but perfect if your not super worried about social distancing. Everyone wore mask during the treatment rooms and in the lobby so this wasn't a big issue for me. I actually purchased a membership and some waxing services for future use. I'm scheduled for a wax within the next week or so and am hoping to have an equally good experience. I do wish they had more water options, the filtered water in paper cups didn't thrill me but certainly doesn't stop me from returning. Also, I. noticed the sheets were dark brown in color and not white... which gave me a little hesitation in checking for staining. To be clear I am literally referring to brown sheets NOT stained brown sheets. I'm stating that a preference would be to have white linens. I am INCREDIBLY disappointed and upset with my experience on 5/28/22. I booked not a 60 minute, but a 100 minute massage for my mother's birthday and she was NOT taken care of. Birthdays are an incredibly special occasion, and I trusted that coming to spavia and entrusting then with my mother's special day over choosing a smaller local competitor would pay off. My mother was supposed to have Jennifer, who is highly rated and had multiple positive reviews, and instead, she got the abomination of a professional, Lorna. Lorna was entirely incapable of following very clearly laid out directions. When my mother went so far as to correct Lorna's actions with verbal requests, all my mother got was excuses and dismissals. My mother verbally requested that the table warmer be turned on because she was cold, Lorna said "oh they shut off every few minutes I can't control that". My mother verbally requested that a pillow be placed under her ankles (which is supposed to be at least offered or simply given), as she has an old ankle injury that sometimes causes discomfort, Lorna said "wait until I get this lotion off my hands" and never gave my mother a pillow. My mother also took the time to fully fill out the new client paperwork within which she requested ocean music and conversation only if she initiated, Lorna ignored these clearly laid out requests. I say "ignored" because my mother also marked her neck as a tense location which she would like more attention on and she verbally requested more pressure during her service, to which Lorna responded "but you only checked 'relaxation'" and neglected to focus on my mother's ONE spot that she requested attention for. Lorna clearly read the paperwork and requests, but chose to ignore them. My mother's choice of music was not honored, despite her verbal contention and Lorna even chatted through my mother's entire service, which kept my mother from being able to unwind and was why she marked "conversation only if I initiate". All in all, 100 minutes of my mother's time was wasted correcting, redirecting and being ignored by Lorna. On her BIRTHDAY. When you pay nearly $200 for a luxury service, it's really a damn shame that you can't have a positive experience. My mother left feeling discouraged and uncomfortable from a MASSAGE. I'm so incredibly upset that my mother was mistreated. read more

I've been to Spavia twice - both visits during the Pandemic. I've been looking for a safe and reliable place for massages and facials. On my first visit, my husband had a regular hour massage and I did their standard facial. The spa itself is SUPER clean, very calming, and well decorated. The staff is very friendly. We were pleased with our 1st visit. Pricing is fair. My second visit yesterday was even better. I highly recommend the second tier of facials - a little more costly but I loved my acne purifying facial with Katie. Wearing a mask has taken a toll on my skin, but from start to finish loved the service and information she provided regarding my skincare routine and what other facials would help me in the future. I will be back again for another facial with her. Looking forward to trying the second and third-tier facial options. I love that this is a clean and reliable place close by to me. read more

I had two services, this is between a "not good" and "could have been better". The full body massage was just ok-- it wasn't relaxing and she worked some of the kinks in my shoulders but completely missed my neck and the tops of my shoulders. Feet and legs were barely touched. Fine. Then came the add-on scalp massage with oil. What I thought was going to be relaxing massage was a vigorous 10 min scrub with oil on really long hair (the description said it was supposed to be a relaxing scalp massage).. Needless to say, it was unpleasant and jarred me from any relaxation I might have felt (which wasn't much to begin with.) My scalp hurts this evening, the middle where she rested her thumbs is sore and I had to comb out GIANT knots. I've been to plenty of massage places, this experience was def. a first. Unfortunately, I can't come back. And I won't name the therapist, I think she was new, and I'm not looking to mess w people's livelihoods. read more
