If I'm renting tools from your store, I expect the equipment to be available there -- not to be sent on a mini road trip to track it down myself. What's the point of reserving equipment ahead of time if the customer is the one expected to chase it down? It's inconvenient, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. I chose this company for convenience, but the experience was the exact opposite. I won't be renting from them again unless they figure out how to have equipment ready at the location where customers actually book it.

Excellent Adventure!…read more It was my first time renting and driving a huge 15 Ft Box Truck. It was fun, it was huge and the price was very affordable. Once I got it full with all the items Iwas moving, I realized that I could had gotten a Cargo Van instead, anyhow, everything worked out. The back had a metal ramp which made it so nice and easy to load and unload. At the front desk finishing all the paperwork of the rental procedure was easy and fast. Dropping off was the best as they allowed me 1 extra night free of charge to bring it back next day before 10AM. Excellent Customer Service 1k plus rating.

They have super reviews for a truck rental place which is primarily why I selected them. This place and the horrible incompetent people who work here should be avoided at all cost…read moreI booked a truck to move out of state with - I was called to confirm the reservation by someone here and when I asked if I could pick up at 5am instead of 9 pm the moron on the phone said "yeah sure, should be ok" - it was not OK- the truck was rented by someone else immediately after 9pm when I didn't pick it up and now so am stranded without a truck with all of my movers and flights and plans to move out of state RUINED. I was up all night with customer service and they didn't help at all- they offered me a truck that was five hours away north of Peekskill and if I left then (midnight) I still would be able to get there and bring the truck to Brooklyn in time to meet my movers. Then when I called the reservation specialists in Brooklyn I was transferred and put on hold literally seven times without even being told I would be transferred each time because everyone is just kicking the can down the road. U-Haul is the most messed up faceless corporation with base zombies working for them. Never ever book with them. Budget offers trucks for rental. Also whoever I talked to who said I could pick up the truck later- I hope you find out what happens when you don't say "I don't know" when you should. If U-Haul have a shit about customer service they would have given me a truck and had an employee transfer the one in Peekskill to replace the one I took.
