    Chicken bacon hand tossed pizza
    Elise M.

Found this gem otw home from a work event. So glad we stopped. It was literally the best pizza we've had in a long, long long time. Hand tossed and cooked crust to perfection. I was so full after a slice and a half that now I will enjoy the rest tomorrow (and you know what they say - pizza is always better the next day... so not sure how it will top fresh from the oven but we'll see). The staff and service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean. And they even had table games for us while we waited. Great pizza , great people , great vibe. Can't wait to come back to try other items from the menu.

This is their EBA 10 inch pizza.

Friendly service, and clean restaurant. Food delicious. Would recommend you to stop by and give it a try.

Half combo haly Hawaiian on NY style crust

Great place to grab a pizza in Georgetown. We usually get the EBC (Combo) and cheese bread. This time we had takeout and added some buffalo wings. The wings are great perfectly cooked and great tasting sauce. The EBC is you standard combo, we choose to get it without banana peppers and in my opinion made it better. They have 3 choices of crust. Hand tossed, NY thin and thin and crispy. I really like their hand tossed, the crust is fluffy and delicious. They also have a bar, and tvs throughout, so it's a great place to catch a game

Lots of really fresh toppings, and the dough was a good texture, although I like bit more salt. Nice hometown bar atmosphere as well.

The food was delicious. Has a sport bar theme, but very welcoming. Never had a pizzandwich, but it changed my life.

Caffe Piccolo is hands-down my fav restaurant (& we've dined at dozens of eateries from Little River to Pawleys Island!) The ambiance of the outside patio is magical; it's beautifully designed and impeccably maintained. The servers are lovely... very warm, friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. They all know the menu quite well, including the specials, which they explain in detail and never rush through them. Since we've dined here so often, my husband and I have sampled many entrees and have never been disappointed. The Marsala has lots of mushrooms and a delicious, velvety sauce; Piccata has a light lemon sauce w/salty capers - perfectly balanced! Our absolute favorite are the Stuffed Banana Peppers, which we have every time we visit. My husband has one complaint: the bar didn't have Bacardi rum on several occasions.

This was our first time dining at Caffe Piccolo, selected by our friend (for husband's birthday)…read more Having had reservations, it made no sense that the 4 of us were seated at a table separating us by a half-wall from four service stations being the (1) entry/exit to the kitchen, (2) electronic processing for customer transactions, (3) restrooms and service door(s) and (4) 2-way traffic for active servers from bar-to-kitchen-to-one-dining-room-to-another. Acknowledging that every table/booth in every restaurant is $money$, this table for 4 we were escorted to should either not exist or would do far better being creatively encased with an added structure to camouflage both these spaces and dampen the associated noise. On behalf of "the man of honor" who deserved far better, I appealed to the hostess to be seated elsewhere and graciously, she did so, in the dining area where the bar is located, not lending itself well to relaxed conversation, however. Oh well. Making up for the initial shifts and adjustments above, our server "Hunter" and the entrés 3 of the 4 of us chose were so delicious! Starting with Hunter, Cafe Piccolo would be wise to invest in retaining his skills in any possible manner. As a server, he was attentive, knowing what we needed and exactly when. He was warm, patient, personable and gentlemanly with a charming sense of humor. I cannot figure out how he was able to demonstrate such positive qualities with the 4 of us in conjunction with attending the other diners in this completely FULL dining room! The three of us ordered one of the specials offered--seared scallops with spinach-mushroom ravioli...magnifico!! This was prepared with super plump scallops, seared to perfection and the dough of the ravioli was light and thin. One of 3 salads is offered with entrées and, without hesitation, the one with Roquefort cheese dressing was a quick choice. Unfortunately, we live over an hour north of this delicious Italian cafe so returning frequently isn't likely. But if we're ever passing through the area, Cafe Piccolo (w/ Hunter as our server, of course) is #1 on our list.

This guy is on another level. From the moment we sat down, Nick's energy, knowledge, and genuine passion for hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. He wasn't just taking our order -- he was curating an experience. Now let's talk about the Cacio e Pepe -- insanely good doesn't even begin to cover it. It was perfectly executed: silky, bold, with just the right bite of pepper. Classic done right. But you know what made it taste even better? Nick. He recommended it with such confidence and enthusiasm that we had to order it, and he absolutely delivered. Nick was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and just an all-around fantastic human being. He made us feel like VIP guests from start to finish -- checking in at exactly the right moments, offering spot-on suggestions, and keeping the whole experience flowing effortlessly. If you go to Portofino, you absolutely should ask for Nick by name. He is the kind of server that reminds you why going out to dinner is supposed to be a special occasion. We will 100% be back, and Nick is a big reason why. Portofino, you have a gem on your staff. Treat him well!

Hi Everyone, If you…read morelive to eat as many my of my Italian friends do, Villa Romano's succulent fare, will put that curl in your hair. This restaurant was a surprise from our oh so friendly, engaging, interesting and very accomplished Accordion Virtuoso, Mike. To our very enthusiastic, lovely, patient, Server Berkley. To our food which was divine. To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. We all know also, because while we tried our best not looking at how Aunt Susie's makeup was contorting her face, it was like trying not to look at a car wreck. I even laid 7-5 odds that her false eyelashes would become a moustache, and won, while we all did exactly that to satisfy my beautatious date's Cousins' from Reno, fish wish, in Myrtle Beach. We stood in the lines outside, in the evening heat, at three different restaurants that we tried. Please remember to bring water, you'll feel better while you wait, wait, wait again, and then really wait, as if Mosses is going to appear from on high with the Ten Commandments. Instead it's, "Your table is ready" as you try to wake Grandma from her heat induced coma. While Villa Romano's bait, is to actually take your reservation and instead, have you relax on your tushy while having a cocktail in their comfortably A/C filled delightful ambience while you relive your day's perspective with friends and Family ("No, you missed it. First he...", ya know), while Mike fills the air with his sweet mellifluous musical notes floating by you for your audio pleasure, much like the feather in Forrest Gump. Their appetisers looked awesome however, this is an "Old World" Italian restaurant that offered their minestrone soup, and their Caesar salad which came with our meals, was very tasty, and paired very well with the bottle of wine from their varied, and well selected wine list, which we all shared. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? Because sometimes you just can't find what will work for everyone, and that feels and tastes, just right. That's it! That is Villa Romana Restaurant, and we all were so gleeful and happy we discovered that fact in our visit to Myrtle Beach, SC. Manga... Enjoy!
