This family owned pizza place is a hidden gem just south or Myrtle Beach . Pizzas are square thin crust , not to hard and not to flimsy. Pizza is not oily at all , seems to be made of real quality ingredients . The sauce is where they stand out , the seasonings are amazing . Sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and savory . They do have a gluten free crust that is round , my wife really enjoyed the gluten free crust . Hands down one of my top 3 pizza's I have had in my coast to coast travels . Ordered a 12 slice pizza for the football games this weekend! Ordered online and felt it was pretty easy! Pizza was ready on time! Got home and discovered that I must have ordered improperly! Instead of mushroom, sausage and meatball on the whole thing, we got that in half and cheese on the other half! I guess I'll be more careful next time! Pizza was still very good! Pizza ok. Sub good. Ordered caramel drizzled brownie which was pictured on the menu with chocolate and caramel and topped with whipped cream. We did pickup. Took brownie out of the bag, it was in plastic and frozen, just like you might have gotten from a gas station. Called the store. Got an I'm sorry but that's the way we serve all our desserts unless you are eating in the restaurant. No where did it explain that on the menu. No offer to take it off our bill. Had the occasion to eat from here while staying at Pawleys. I asked for the largest pizza and the girl told me it was the 12 slice square pizza. When I arrived I saw the menu and that just wasn't true. They had a larger size with I believe 18slices. Pizza was decent and the pepperoni had a nice kick to it. I forgot to snap a pic before I had a few slices so please forgive me. Also ordered a large house salad with the house dressing. That was excellent. We had Easy access great parking right in front of the restaurant. Bev and I were greeted with a friendly hello and a smile as we walked into Rosie's Pizzeria. Bev wanted the Rosie's special White Pizza and I ordered their Meatball Sub with Onion rings on the side. While we waited We we're served two fresh garlic rolls and drinks. They were delicious When our order arrived Bev noticed it was a plain white cheese pizza. With no sauce on it. We quickly ordered the correct order that Bev wanted. Rosies Special White Pizza. Tammy was so kind when she served us. Bev had a few of my onion rings while waiting for her Pizza. We asked for the menu back to familiarize ourselves with the menu since this was our first time here and we would be back. Her meal arrived in no time at all. Tammy was fantastic she checked back with us to see everything was alright. It was fine. The manager did not have us pay for the first pizza. She resolved the mixup professionally and kindly. Got out of the car with the open light still on at 830pm internet says you close at 11pm, door say 11am- until... man inside saw me get out of my car and comes to the door and locks it. A week at the beach requires pizza at least one night, but we've struggled in the past to find a good place in Pawleys Island. This year we stopped by Deroma's and found a winner! I ordered 2 party size pizzas when I arrived and had the opportunity to watch them work as I waited patiently for dough, cheese, and topping to come together as pizza. The crew here seems to function as a well oiled machine and everyone appeared to enjoy the work. The party size is really just to large pizza in the same box, but an impressive sight. We split toppings and basically ended up with four large pizzas at a discount. Love this choice! Hand tossed dough with fresh toppings. My one small complaint would be a need for a bit more cheese but the crust is good and I like the square cut. Overall great pizza at a good price for the beach. Fast friendly service even on a busy night Highly recommended. We will be back for sure. read more
