There was a cockatoo in a horrid cage it had poop caked all over it, little water, wrong food, and was missing feathers from its neck. The feathers missing from its neck means something is wrong with it or it's extremely stressed! The bird was owned by a worker in the shop. This bird was extremely malnourished and unhealthy in every way possible. When me and my family first walked in there were tiny parrots in a way too small cage fighting because there is not enough space. The bearded dragons had way too small of a tank and two were crammed in the same tank that is not enough for one! The fish were the best taken care of out of any animals in the store. The bettas can see each other and that can cause them to try and fight the other which then causes stress! Overall this store smelled horrible, all animals were not properly taken care of' and lastly the cockatoo needs immediate help it is suffering and extremely unhealthy as mentioned earlier. Do not recommend supporting this store or coming to it I was extremely sad looking at all the suffering animals.

This establishment clearly doesn't have the resources to care for such a quantity of animals. The birds, in particular, have molted their feathers and are visibly stressed. I saw a tegu that was too large to turn around inside of its enclosure. The most heartbreaking of all was Nigel, the 22-year-old salmon-crested cockatoo. Their story is that his owner died a few years ago, and that's the reason he's pulled out all his feathers. While the story is probably true, being locked inside a small enclosure doesn't seem an appropriate space for a stressed bird to recover. Such a vibrant and social creature deserves better. A maturity worth of gawking by obnoxious children clearly isn't the answer. The place was filthy, and with no air-conditioning to speak of and the heat was overwhelming. Currently, the conditions in which these animals are being cared for isn't sufficient and is bordering on cruelty. I sincerely hope someone who cares will step in and do something. This is my first review using Yelp. I created an account specifically for the purpose of bringing awareness to this issue.
