I thought my new dog Reggie might be finicky- but Mel knew how to handle him, and he likes coming to her now too- When I leave he looks like a brand new dog- Mel is my " go to" groomer ! We brought our puppy that has never been groomed before and she was being quite difficult, so they suggested we bring her back in a few days later so she can get more used to the setting and the clippers etc., and we really appreciated the thoughtful way they handled that. Our other dog who's used to grooming did great and they did a great job with him.

We have taken our dog Zoey for grooming for a few years. This last year we have had a number of…read moreissues. Biggest one is (apparently) shampoo or other chemical in her eyes. This time has been the worse. Both eyes flame red, watering and she prefers to lay with her eyes closed. She can see when she walks, but who knows how well! We have put drops in her eyes which has helped. Last two times it took a couple days for Zoey to stop rubbing her eyes. That was one eye each time. This time it's both. We will be at our vet if this is not continually improving the next 24 hours. One time is an oops, multiple times is incompetence. We will not be returning to Posh Pets grooming any longer. We will be at our vets on Monday to insure Zoey is OK. Absolutely no longer recommend this groomer!

I even saw them write everything down, so there should have been no confusion. To make things even worse, the employee specifically asked me if I wanted a lion cut, and I clearly said NO. Despite that, they went ahead and shaved my entire cat anyway. This was never discussed or approved. It's honestly shocking that something this drastic was done when the request was so specific and minimal. Now my cat is uncomfortable, her coat is ruined, and she's been acting stressed since the appointment. This wasn't just a small mistake--this was a complete disregard for my instructions and my pet's well-being. If you can't follow clearly written directions--or even a direct "no" to a specific question--you shouldn't be grooming animals. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet.

She did my older dog's grooming last week. When I picked him up I could see it was a poor grooming job with spots that were cut too short and dirty ears. One spot was cut right to the skin. She complained that he acted even older than he was for grooming and she had problems with him. My dog yelped at any touch to his back for a week. I had let her know he had an issue with a weak back. I believe he was especially difficult for her because she was hurting him and being too rough with him. I called and talked to the owner about this and she was apologetic. Her apologies did not help my poor dog. I won't be going back there ever again

If you have opened a bag of stuff like food wise and trying to return it, they will not do that because they don't know what's going on with it . If it is unopened, they will take it back if you have the receipt. For the dog food wise 10 day return policy.

They also use a very strong scent of spray after the groom. We will probably end up going with our previous groomer due to paying for a groom that we weren't happy with.
