The actual name of this place is Specialized Automotive and they service Hondas and Toyotas. I was referred by a tire dealer for front end repairs and they were professional and thorough. I have pretty old cars and I did not want to buy a new one so had some expensive front end work on both Hondas and valve adjustments (yes those older Hondas need valves adjusted) among other things. They do excellent work and the cars were restored to like new running order. One is still in the shop for a frustrating electrical quirk and I am hoping Moses can find the solution. I took my Odyssey van there with a maintenance light, window problem, and an slight oil leak. Craig reset the light as I'd done the oil change. He lubed the window and it worked well. He had to put dye in the oil to find the slight leak a few days later. Charge: ZERO! I was stunned. Wanted to pay him 50 or something as guys DID DO WORK! No, says he, we'll wait unit we figure out the oil leak. Craig runs a great shop, does excellent work, and above all is honest and not out to rip you off, nor nickel and dime you. I've had my Honda Odyssey serviced here instead of the dealer ever since the warranty expired. This is the same place and business as Honda's Only and Toyota's Only, btw... In order to keep me going here instead of the dealer, they would need to be cheaper and still provide the same or better service. My experience has been good on both. Specialized seems 30% or so cheaper than the dealer and they have always done an excellent job fixing every issue I've had with the van. They've replaced shocks, various malfunctioning switches, body molding, and just completed the 90K service. All done in an excellent manner with good savings over dealer. They will also provide a ride if you aren't too far away. If you live or work in N. Modesto, I highly recommend them for Honda or Toyota service. read more

Specialized Auto is great. They aren't the cheapest in town. They aren't the most expensive either but I trust them and that makes all the difference. If I bring one of my cars in and they feel something is still good they will tell me. On more than one occasion I've left my car, come back with and been given an explaination and not been charged.
