    Got my exam done there, but when I tried to use their prescription elsewhere it turned out that it was only good for correcting my nearsightedness, and no information was provided regarding my need for reading lenses (farsightedness). I called them twice requesting a complete prescription and got refused twice by their staff. Only after I posted a critical review here I got the issue resolved. I am adding an extra star for the issue being finally resolved, but still consider my experience with this business rather poor.

    Came in for an eye exam and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They sent me the intake forms prior to arrival and I was able to fill them out online which was nice. Comfortable seating area that is a tad bit small. The doctors were very good and took their time with me to evaluate my eyes. The offer all of the digital eye tests, but I opted to just do the dilation. They have a good eye glass selection that is not huge, but is good quality options.

    My family and I have been visiting U & M Family Eyecare for several years for our eyecare needs. They recently moved into a brand new office building and it is very nice. Bright and clean atmosphere with impressive customer service. Although I had lasik surgery three years ago, it is still important to maintain my annual eyecare visits. My family and I recently all went in for our annual eye exams. The office is new and impressive and the attentive care of the entire staff is the reason that we have been loyal to U & M Eyecare.

Lately we've experienced more of the latter and, as a result, will try a different provider next year. Eye exams have always been patient, thorough, and accurate. Last year, the Doctor became mildly irritated with my wife raising concerns about a box of problematic contacts affecting our daughter, as if the issue did not exist. We decided it may be a fluke and came back this year. This year, my son and I have had several problems with eyeglasses we ordered. I asked for Trivex and the best anti-reflective coat available, but we received polycarbonate, Cristal Rock AR on mine, and Cristal Easy Pro AR on my son's. However, my son's lenses have a blue hue in the reflection and Easy Pro should look green (see pic). Additionally, my invoice listed DuraVision Platinum, which would have a blue hue and green is clearly visible in the picture. We did not receive certificates of authenticity for Transitions or Crizal, which both companies say should've been included. It took just over 3 weeks to receive my glasses. Our insurance was blamed, but I would have gladly paid full price and filed a claim directly with them. Instead, no updates were provided and, once I inquired 10 days later, they ordered them after seemingly forgetting. I asked at that time to cancel my order, but they refused. Since receiving the incorrect lenses, I asked to have them replaced, but they again refused.

I took my broken glasses in to see if they could repair - even though I was not a client. Jenny was super kind and helpful and got me sorted out. This happened on a Friday lunch time. I was in and out in a few minutes. Great atmosphere - great service! Highly recommend!

Then you all send me a bill on 9/5/25 that I owe you another $123.27. and have a debt collector call because I refuse to pay. How about the 'No Surprise' medical act. Tell your patients it will cost them nearly $400.00 to follow-through with an appointment. Definitely, shady pricing and seriously, you had a debt collector call me after not returning my phone calls to debate the extra $123.27 above and beyond what my insurance covered. The tech was friendly and provider was nice... two weeks later, I picked up my glasses and they were too strong. I was told to wear them for a week and then go back if they still didn't work. I went back and was told to make an appointment, which I did. I had another exam and was told to come back in two weeks to pick up lenses... I went back and the lenses did not fit the frames... long story short, I still do not have glasses. Once they come in, I'm going to pick them up and never go back. In fact, my confidence in them and the prescription is so low that I'm going to go have another eye exam at a different place and trust their prescription but will do homework on their business first.
