Bethel Eyecare is my go-to eye doctor. Everything about this place is absolutely wonderful. The staff is always friendly and nice and most importantly, Dr. Cha really takes good care of your eyes, making sure you get the accurate prescription and eye care you need. Instead of the typical Korean optometry offices where they just do a refraction only, she does a detailed eye health exam and notes of possible eye dangers. The glasses selection is also wonderful -- staff is super knowledgeable and helpful in picking out the perfect frame. I get almost excited to go back every year or when it's my annual check-up, just because this place js so great. read more

They literally make you jump through hurdles just to get your prescription information . I've been here for two years and have NEVER gotten my prescription they would just give me excuses or even say the sent in a email and never did...... I'm guessing they don't want you getting frames from another location... but the whole point of a eye doctor is to know about your eyes. So I broke the nose pieces on my glasses. It's the ones that hold up your glasses. I didn't purchase my frames from here, but they were able to install them for me right then and there for $30!! I was so happy because I can't wear my glasses without the nose pieces. They seemed a little swamped, and it was close to closing time, but they still squeezed me in. read more

Good service at the time of the visit, save for the contact lens fitting fee that isn't disclosed until you've already had the service. Two stars because I had to call 3 times to get my prescription faxed to another eyeglass store. It seems they are either disorganized or don't want you to buy from anybody but them. Very PLEASANT experience. 5 Stars for the STAFF! I took my daughter here, new patient, based on their awesome Google and Yelp reviews and let me just say they are all true! So my daughter, who's 7, was a bit nervous as she hasn't been to an eye doc before (past years were just basic vision tests from our fam doctor) so I was a little worried. The staff was super friendly, sweet and funny! As a mom, I truly appreciate that. It made my daughter feel at ease. I also liked that since it's my daughter's first time, they took the time to explain (not to me) to my daughter what is going to happen, what are the eye drops for etc on a gentle, non-rushed way making her curious and engaged in an educational conversation. Love! The facility is clean and modern and the equipment all seem updated. Those visual charts with letters that you read isn't printed on a card board & taped on the wall. You read it on a computer screen, controlled by remote to change letter sizes. I know this is a small detail but I find it cool and efficient. Dr. Cha was also nice and ended up not giving my daughter a prescription as she didn't need it. Legit honest! I hated our past experiences with the other eye clinics we went to here in Duluth (Sharper Vision & Gwinnet Eye Clinic) as they both weren't kid friendly, gave us wrong prescription and with very rude, rushing staff! Looking for the light frames, I came here and found Korean frames that are so light and the perfect design I was looking for. The optometrist was not very talkative, which I prefer and had a very professional presence. The person who was helping me with the measurements for my progressive lens, seemed extremely efficient and gave me the assurance that I didn't have to come back to re-do the measurements which would cost me a lot because I am from out of state. They shipped the glasses to my home in California and they were perfect. The prescription and the progressive lens worked well and I could see far, close and my computer clearly without having to move them around for better view. I was very pleased. One shot and they got the bulls eye. Usually, I have to go back to adjust the measurements for the progressive lens positioning and was so glad I didn't have to here. If I am in the area, I will definitely come back. read more

I've been going to Bethel Eyecare since I was a freshmen in high school... (I'm 24 now) and I've always had a great experience. Sure there was a specific receptionist who did come off a little rude but I addressed that and nothing since. I've never had an issue getting my contacts or glasses prescription. I've even had them email it to me same day for me to get glasses elsewhere. Over all experience is nice. I see Dr. Cha a lot, she's very sweet and sees you asap. I am very picky about the doctors I go to. To put this in perspective I live in Midtown Atlanta and it takes me an hour to get to their office. Yesterday, was my very first visit and I'm thankful they're a provider on my insurance. Their practice was definitely worth the drive. There was traffic which resulted in me being 20 minutes late to my appointment. I called them to let them know and they were more than understanding. Everything about this office was clean, efficient, and friendly. Dr. Cha was kind, patient, and understanding. She took her time and answered all of my questions. Just a wonderful place all around. WILL NOT BE GOING HERE AGAIN due to a very rude, inconsiderate, bossy, and stuck up young woman at the front desk. We showed up early for an appt, which I had tried to reschedule for a later time, but was told the time I wanted was after their latest appt. My child was called, sat down, and a staff member started the pre-examination. As he has his face on the machine, the young woman RUSHED in and said we had to get up and go back out to the waiting room, because they had accidentally skipped over someone who was there for an earlier appt. I refused as I had been specifically told I couldn't have a later appt, so nooooo you are not going to try and make me wait now. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I told the Dr. about the experience, and that I was considering changing an originally good review I left. She said, "Well the exam is with me right? You're review is based on the visit with me." No, it's not. My review is based on my ENTIRE experience from beginning to end. We paid close to $175 for my child's glasses (2nd time purchasing the same brand since frames are durable). The nurse who helped us pick out glasses said because they were so expensive, to help out I would get $20 off. A month later I called to make the payment to order, and the same rude young woman picked up and told me there was no such thing as them giving $20 off, and no one would have ever told me that. I'm neither deaf, dumb, or blind. I know what I was told and by who. She made the situation so difficult, and it was clear in her voice she enjoyed telling me I was supposedly wrong. To pay that much money, and get nothing but an attitude from her is a slap in the face. I'll take my money elsewhere! read more

This has to be the nicest optometrist's office I have ever been to before, and the service was wonderful to the point I felt like I was a patron at a spa! It was very clean, the staff was professional, and I learned a great deal about eye care. I was surprised by some of the tests they had me do, because I had never done them at other optometrists' offices before. In the past, I saw getting my eye exam and contacts exam done as just a routine thing to get the prescription I need and get my glasses/contacts. What they included in my exams seemed very comprehensive. I appreciated that Dr. Cha and her medical assistant were very thorough and patient in explaining what the results meant for me and answering my questions. From exercises for my eyes when I'm on a computer all day to the benefits of eyedrops for contacts to talking out the pros/cons of different contacts based on my own needs...they really went beyond what any other office has done for me before, and I'm sure they do this for all their patients. I did not feel like they were trying to sell me a specific brand of contacts like other offices, and they were very honest about the differences between brands and what they would actually recommend for me. I usually never write a review or badmouth any place of business because I know how hard it takes to run a successful business. I had the unfortunate experience of getting my first pair of glasses through Bethel Eye Care in Duluth. The staff is friendly (I guess) but just not helpful, and extremely unprofessional on every level. A good way to describe dealing with them is just, "an awkward experience." It took way too long to receive my glasses due to some hiccups on their end. Very dissapointed on the unprofessionalism of this staff. read more

Walking into the office will simply wow you. The decor is up-to-date, the staff is friendly, professional, efficient and courteous. There was no long line and waiting time. I've been to many optometrists and this one is by far the best. My daughter wanted to try out contact lenses, they provided a free try-out pair. Then she told them she'll be going for vacation and will not be able to come in for awhile, they gave her another pair for free so that she can continue to wear her contact lenses. This is so thoughtful and wonderful. We want to come back here all the time, and recommend all our friends and family to come here. read more
