Office has always been to busy so I haven't even met the doctor for my last procedure. Not that it matters. The capper was that they called me to schedule a follow up appointment. Which they then managed to set up in a clinic in Tom's River NJ. Uh. I live in Braselton. Kind of the last straw. They seem to be so busy buying clinics they have just become sort of In-and-Out steroid shot factory. Just a heads up. They just don't seem to be very careful anymore. Anthony advised me of some exercises that can be done to help with my condition and referred me to the surgical portion of the practice as a formality. I came to this location to see Hayden Frolo, PA and as soon as she came into the exam room she advised me that I needed to have a very serious surgery. I was caught off guard because this was such a different stance than what I heard from Anthony. She went on to tell me that I could lose my bodily functions and could become paralyzed if I didn't have surgery and even told me that I should do it before my auto accident case was closed out because my personal insurance might not cover it. I was shocked and advised that I wanted a second opinion before making such a serious decision. I could tell Hayden wasn't happy but oh well. I went to another orthopedic practice that treats most of the major sports teams in Atlanta and was seen by a surgeon who looked at my records and examined me and stated that I didn't need surgery. He advised that exercised and possibly physical therapy would be the best next steps and that surgery would be a last resort and that I wasn't there yet. I would not recommend this practice at all. They are all about the money and not concerned about the patient. They are unethical!!

Today I show up for my appointment 15mins early like I was asked and receptionist told me they had me down for Thursday...I couldn't do Thursday so I was just going to cancel but she said they could see me today at 2:00 which I agreed. I spent 25' max. with Dr. Alana Villada. I spent 25' in a direct personal exchange between me, the patient, and the said Dr. I received a bill of $308.10. I checked with my insurance. I was billed under code 99204 (New patient office visit, 45-59 minutes). I reached out to the billing team and they sent me back to the office manager. The office manager stated that any work conducted by the Physician via the portal (like uploading and posting a comment about a lab result) can be minutes aggregated to the initial visit face-to-face. I am in disagreement since I interacted with the doctor only 25'. Any work done after the face-to-face visit culminated (asynchronously, not demanding a patient's response or physical examination, online, etc.) cannot be considered an in-person visit with a licensed professional or be billed under the same care or service provided. I wasn't even given an answer or a heads up that a question about my physical health during a physical exam would be billed separately I wasn't even looked in the eye when she said she would order additional labs to make sure it wasn't an autoimmune disorder. 30 seconds for a question I wasn't aware didn't fall within the category of my annual exam and $140 later I'm still wondering how health professionals have gone this far downhill. They don't care about our well being, they only care about how many charges they can unknowingly bill us for until we've had enough.
