It had to go as far as me seeking legal counsel in order to try and receive my funds, which I still have not received. Once I informed them that I retained legal counsel, suddenly Dr. Kriegel was no longer accepting new patients, as if they knew their error and their wrongdoing all along. I had a BBL with 360 lipo in 2024 with Dr.Chang. I didn't have any issues with scheduling, pre-op, surgery, or post-op. I followed the post-op instructions to the letter and had perfect results. The only negative about Spectrum is 90% of the medical support staff speak Spanish to the patients who speak English (lol). I literally had a woman who didn't speak English running my IV. I'm no dummy and pulled out my phone to translate bc what we are not about to do is stick me with a needle and we don't speak the same language (lol). I think Dr.Chang left the practice, so I'll be seeing him in his new office for any touch ups I may need. read more

Believe the bad reviews, their IG account is smoke and mirrors. This experience has been quite appalling and I was almost standed and homeless in Miami because of this establishment, and the financial burden they placed on me during their process. It started off amazing until I paid in full, and then it all went downhill from there. I booked with Dr. DeJesus and the chubby girl with the tan, and the long black hair was the worst and if I ever had an office, she would be the last person I would choose to represent my profession. I don't know anyone who is okay with spending thousands of dollars, only to be treated like irrelevant trash, the way that girl treated me. My original surgery date was with the previous place was on Feb 1. And (long story short) had to replace them with Perfection and get a new Surgery date (check out my review on my amazing experience there). My lab work, EKG, chest, x-ray, and medical clearance from my primary doctor all checked out with flying colors. Dr. DeJesus decided to wait until had nothing on but their cheap paper gown and minutes away from getting the anesthesia-IV to tell me that she just looked at my paperwork (that I've been very transparent from the very beginning months ago) and saw that it said sleep apnea in 2009. This is true my paperwork said that, but if she knew anything about sleep apnea, she would've also seen that it said mild and that my AHI numbers were far too low (mild OSA and low AHI (apnea/hypopnea index) of 2.4. and low RDI (respiratory disturbance index) of 8.8 to warrant a CPAP machine. I've been asymptomatic and have not needed a CAP in 10+ years! Additionally, I listed the 5 other major general-anesthesia surgeries I had since then. Being cautious is one thing, being arrogant, sleep-apnea-ignorant and rude is another. So she still sent me on a Mission Impossible task by requiring me to take another sleep study in the middle of Miami-nowhere with no resources. I entertained her and her rude staff for 4 days until realizing how impossible and costly Sleep Studies were, as well as realizing that neither her nor her staff cared about actually reading my 2009 study nor cared about the financial Strain Spectrum was now putting me through. They don't care about us as people. This place only cares about the money we bring. DeJesus simply got paranoid about being sued or having a death on her table, but wasn't educated enough about Sleep Studies to realize that all she did was fumble the bag. I do not recommend. I am three weeks post surgery today, I got a breast lift with implants with Dr. De Jesús. What can I say, I am obsessed, she gave me my confidence back! The WORST experience I've ever had in my life! *RECEIPTS BELOW* Ladies PLEASE consider getting your work done elsewhere. I went here for a TT back in March with Ortega and was SUPER excited because I've followed him and Spectrum forever. I got a "special" and was thrilled. Covid had just hit the states and I called and emailed (a lot) in the weeks and days leading up to my surgery asking if I should reschedule and what precautions they'd been taking. I was assured I didn't have to and they'd been business as usual. Throughout the whole process you don't meet the doctors until literally the day of surgery, just before you go into the OR. I flew in from NY and went straight to my pre-op appt. from the airport and was immediately uncomfortable (but I figured I was all paid up and was maybe being too critical) - the place was filthy, holes of drywall, trash everywhere, pillows on the floor (cuz you BBL patients will be kneeling there for HOURS waiting for your post-op visits, right there in the waiting room) and no one was friendly or remotely engaging. The morning of the surgery, the doctor's bedside manner was actually quite pleasant and I went into surgery nervous but okay. UNTIL I WOKE UP - not in a recovery room, but in a WHEELCHAIR being dumped into the van. I was in the worsssssst pain of my life (mind you I've had five surgeries, including a past TT) and could not believe I was already being moved and so roughly. There was no recovery room, no nurse. They pack you in and send you off like cattle literally ***IMMEDIATELY*** after surgery. Then (it gets wayyy better), I waited fourrrrr hours in horrible pain for my first *10 minute post-op* appointment. I told the doctor I thought my incision was infected and he gave me petroleum jelly wraps and sent me back to the recovery house (which was the single good part of this experience). Again, this was in March right before covid hit and so when I called for my second post-op appointment (because you should be seen at least 3 times before you fly home) I didn't get a call back. I called the next day and noticed all the other girls in the recovery house were also not getting through, girls who had just gotten operated on that day. Why? BECAUSE THEY LITERALLY CLOSED WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE. No calls, no heads up, no referrals. THEY OPERATED *THAT* morning then left DOZENSSSS of girls completely abandoned. Including some who needed prescriptions! ((And I saw countless BBL girls literally leaking blood, it was scary it looked like someone had poured a bucket of blood on their beds, but I didn't get a BBL and their doc was Chang and the newest female doctor (idk her name) - their recovery looked ROUGH though, lots of crying.)) So I had to come home having been given ZERO notice of their closing, terrified of getting a blood clot, and with no follow up appointment. The only reason we even confirmed they'd closed is because the staff from the recovery house went to their offices and saw everything was shut down. And guess what else? My incision WAS infected - in fact I had *two* incisions become disgustingly infected (I have never ever reacted poorly to any type of incision prior) and had to risk my health by going to an ER hospital full of covid patients for new antibiotics. I didn't hear from them until I'd been home for two weeks! Two weeks in pain with infections and I had to pull out my drains myself. I was so disgusted with them I couldn't even talk to them on the phone. I was left with little pieces of plastic coming out of where I was cut and my belly button healing wonky as shit. I'm already consulting doctors on what I'll need revised. I feel so duped. I work so hard for my money and was honestly so excited. No attentive or even moderately sufficient care or attention given. They were quick to take our money but left us in the wind when we needed them. I'm still REELING at the unprofessionalism. Please go somewhere else. This experience was supposed to help my confidence and instead I felt overwhelming humiliation, FEAR, and overall disappointment, and if I can spare you that, I will certainly try. If I could give negative stars I would. Terrible communication and service. I work 10hr shifts on a base where I'm not allowed to have my cellphone with me. Told them more than 3x about what time is the best to reach me and they never took it into consideration. They called me a day before my flight that I would have to reschedule my surgery date a week later due to a minor inconvenience on their part. Told them it was impossible due to already having hotel, rental car and flights booked as well as having my friend take that week off to take care of me post op. Decided it was best to cancel both of my contracts that I've had for more than 5months and still haven't received any contract cancellation emails. Terrible service for a large price. Ending up booking with South Florida Center for Cosmetic Surgery on Thursday, a day before my flight and they handled EVERYTHING same day and was still given the same surgery date that I previously had with Spectrum with no hassle. BEWARE!!! This place just ripped me off. I had my worst experience when it comes to plastic surgery. I have done two sets of labs and a physical exam. Everything was all clear. Then they told me MEL ORTEGA can't do my surgery. He wants me to have an echocardiogram. I asked them where will I even go to have that done. It's a week before my surgery and Kaiser does not authorize test for outside surgeries which I gave them that in a email. They are still refusing to refund me my $1,000. Pre-op, if you show up early they make you wait in the garage with roaches... and it's hot. Day of surgery, expect to wait for hours. My scheduled appointment was 945am. Didn't go to surgery till about 1pm. Any type of IV therapy or massages, expect to wait 2hrs... many end up canceling and getting a refund. Post op, not as bad. I had two post op appointments and my max wait was 45mins. The waiting rooms can be crowded and the bathroom is unbelievably gross. Con artists. I did my medical clearance with a local doctor; he viewed my ekg/ labs/ everything and said I was perfectly healthy for surgery. SPECTRUM emails me back saying that there's a "sinus arrhythmia" - and that's just not true. I am in a couple Facebook surgery groups where a lot of women are getting this same response regarding irregular EKG's. I didn't think I'd end up one of them. What are the chances we all have irregular EKG's? Again, the practitioner doing my EKG, as well as my primary care doctor saw nothing wrong. Also not wanting to clear me because the doctors office didn't have a stamp. They'd put one there if they had one? Also, why not just call the doctors office to verify? They want to book as many girls as possible, collect the money (I had to do a $1000 deposit) and not clear everyone using deceptive reasonings. I went to Dr. Chang and he is extremely knowledgeable and precise with his technique. He took 1 look at me and saw that my right leg is longer than my left!! Cons: the staff is beyond unprofessional,only Spanish speaking and rude. So be prepared that you will be talked to you like you are a dog , or nothing rather in their eyes. Get prepared;They never answer or if they do they don't speak English or put you on hold and never get back to you. Now the worse is this. ; My wife asked them before the procedure " can I have my prescriptions what I need after my procedure so my husband can get the meds so I will be controlling my pain immediately?" If you call no one will answer and if they do they will tell you what they told me all the time " sir no reason to call, we will call you when she is out" so good luck to get that call. When I received it they actually gave me an ultimatum that I have 30 min to pick her up or she will be but in the waiting room and then I need to wait when someone available to carry her down. Conclusion; If you can look somewhere else do it ,unless you have nerves to deal with this mess and disrespect. Plus ask your love love one if she or he prepared to deal with the worse pain after procedure as I mentioned above they do not give you prescription until you receive your love one. Good luck. I got my surgery May 17th with Dr. Kreegel and I have to say, he exceeded my expectations. I had zero foundation to start off with and he gave me a body that I am excited to show off this summer (once I heal of course lol.) I was asked to leave a review... all I can say is during COVID it may be hard to meet expectations & they were way overbooked.... Guess that can happen when ur team of surgeons rock. Our pre op appointment... I said please bless me with ur skills... I explained my goals and dislikes. Basically I have no hamstrings after trying to build them for years so I wanted it to fit my body and let me tell u. Dr Kreegel delivered. Stay Away !!!!! If your care about your TIME , MONEY and HEALTH !!! These people are a Joke I've dealt with nothing but complete chaos and lies from the beginning to setting up my appointment , which I cancelled immediately after finding out they were lying . To think they are even considerate due to the fact people are spending their hard earned money and planned months to year on hotels , flights , accommodations etc . I Thank god I never paid the Full $1,000 they kept insisting before the appointment because unfortunately through other reviews others could not get there money back . Everything sounds and seems so convenient using the app that they advertise that is until you pay for your contract ( for me )$250 and appointment SX date $100 as well , mind you because of the reviews I wasn't comfortable and told them I would pay the remaining $750 in office giving the benefit of the doubt because of how good the The Surgeon was just pay to secure my spot , But thank god I chose that route . They seem professional but are not and my original coordinator who set me up with everything I was told no longer worked there and that was Automatically a red flag because there a reason to everything , I've dealt with over 6 coordinators pretty unprofessional literally anyone who will pick up . Also the clearance department, refund department and complaints are all run by the same individuals it's such a Joke . Literally a SCAM ! There are way more professional Surgeons out there and even with the communication my OWN Medical Doctor had with them she immediately told me to find someone else and don't follow through and highly concerned with slot of their practices . It's Hard to reach them after you pay I could go on and on . From sending me info with another Surgeons name, assuming the surgeon I originally booked with changed without my consent and etc. But I thank god for all the Red Flags because my Surgery was only one month away . Sucks for the Dr. Chang he seemed good but when you have people like that working with you I cannot trust my life in your hands . All my Flights and Accommodations were all refunded thankfully .
