Worst damn experience I ever had with a mobile company. So bad considering canceling my internet, phone, cable, and mobile service. Been in the Allen store for almost 3 hours getting a simple phone transferred to a new phone and they are still working on it. I would give zero stars if available listen to this. When my wife was expressing her displeasure about the service, one of the employees there "Thomas" told her "I've been here all morning, and you see the other customer was "having a fit" and we are working the issues so just "Sit tight"! Sit Tight...can you believe this level of customer service. Now Thomas was clearly the most knowledgable person in the store, and he used that to talk down to the customers and was very condescending to his co-work, who was new and learning the system. I heard him ask another customer in a condescending tone "What's your IMEI Number", as if everyone knows what the hell an IMEI number is. I arrived at 12:30am and it's now 4:00pm and we are still waiting to get phone activated....... We finally left the store at 4:30pm. 4 1/2 Hours to get my current phone migrated into my new phone, which was already purchased and in-hand when I arrived. This store is about 1 year old and it shows very poorly on Spectrum. I know the monthly price is a lot less than the other major communications companies like Verizon (my former), ATT, T-Mobile, and others...but you get what you pay for in this instance. read more

I have to agree with the other comments. The people working in customer service could care less about their customers. They could care less if you are changing to another company because your unhappy with prices constantly increasing. At one time Spectrum came into the market as a great new company offering TV and Internet at an affordable cost and great Internet and TV. Now they just keep raising prices faster than all competitors. And they never care when you say I am changing service, they push their cell phone services! When you say I want to stop my service they get an attitude and the rest of the conversation is boarder line uncomfortable. I agree to stay away from Spectrum. read more

If you can avoid going to the store I would, the customer service representative there acted rudely to a customer that's been part of spectrum for better than part of a decade. She had no knowledge of what kind of account I had with them and wasn't letting me just simply to return spectrum equipment back to them. So not letting me return the equipment does spectrum expect me to keep paying for this equipment on my account and just trash them? I find that highly unreasonable and plain ignorant. read more

After spending over 2 hours on the phone with Spectrum trying to cancel my service without success, I decided to go into the store near me to get it cancelled. I was expecting a similar hassle as I had on the phone, but Fernando was very kind and had my service cancelled in less than 5 minutes without any trouble. If you have another choice for cable, take it! This company is horrible. I have had it in the last 3 houses from no choice of my own. My condos don't allow satélite dishes and so I'm stuck with this horrible service. The cable goes out at least once a month for hours or days. There is no compensation for it and if you have internet also, wow does it ever effect your business negatively. They are always saying it's maintenance, if it is why, and also if it is, then how come the service is so bad? They don't care if you're a senior, there are no discounts for seniors only if you are Hispanic, your bill is half everybody else's! Is that fair? I don't think so. I'm on a fixed income, I can't work, they don't care. At least AT&T cares about seniors and has a discount for them. Maybe if they didn't spend all our money on advertising false claims about bills not going up, they could offer a senior discount. Don't use them! read more
