This is crazy. The phone call to cancel took about 45 min - the poor rep was required to hit me with all sorts of promotional BS before cancelling, I asked him and he admitted it! I already have fiber - nothing can be done to save my business. At that point they're just trying to make it difficult. This entire process is by design, time-consuming and difficult. I'm waiting just to have a barcode reader scan my stuff - and they make me wait so that this person can again attempt to hit me with a sales pitch. (The replacement phone would still be on Verizon as a carrier). I was able to buy a phone last year from the same store full price, same prepaid situation. I then went to the second Verizon on Lincolnway. The salesperson was helpful and I would have not had a problem buying a phone from them. Unfortunately, they didn't have the model I wanted but they were trying. Great customer service on Lincolnway. Dell Range, they were more interested in increasing their "Contract" numbers. I ended up purchasing the model I wanted from everyone's fav online store. So, Dell Range Verizon, you lost $$.

They greatly misrepresented there internet service by telling me about all the wonderful features I would be access, the fast speeds, etc. while downplaying that it is basically a data package. I had heard that their customer service was bad and that is a gross exaggeration. If ever faced with a choice like this again I would do without TV and internet than deal with DISH again.

The person that signed me up insisted that new install comes with a new phone. I told her I didn't want it. They sent one anyway. When I took all of the equipment back to the office they refused to take the phone as I didn't have the box it came in. After speaking with the clerk he said "this happens all the time"! My credit card has been charged for a phone I don't want, I won't use and Spectrum continues to bill! What a rip off!
