Tried to buy a phone to replace a failing one from Verizon store in Cheyenne, Dell Range. They refused saying I needed to sign up for a contract though my household has been with Verizon for well over 15 year. (Prepaid/month to month). (The replacement phone would still be on Verizon as a carrier). I was able to buy a phone last year from the same store full price, same prepaid situation. I then went to the second Verizon on Lincolnway. The salesperson was helpful and I would have not had a problem buying a phone from them. Unfortunately, they didn't have the model I wanted but they were trying. Great customer service on Lincolnway. Dell Range, they were more interested in increasing their "Contract" numbers. I ended up purchasing the model I wanted from everyone's fav online store. So, Dell Range Verizon, you lost $$. read more

Bad bad manager! The other day you made things worse. Kick me out of your store for being mad about your staff trying to sell an 86 yr old senior a 800 dollar phone. Who knows if the work on commission or not. Nobody at Vzw knows. So if no commission why would your DEI employee do such a thing? Why double her bill? Every body knows vzw gouges it's customers. Just had a great experience at this Verizon location. My husband's iPhone had been hacked and he needed to check for malware. We arrived at 10:15am and greeted by Verizon employee, Mareikel. He listened to our needs, and walked us through the security steps necessary to detect malware. Mareikel made our visit an A+ experience. Thank you!! read more

Some of the most horrible customer service I've ever experienced. This isn't the only negative occasion at this location either. There are at least 6 or 7 people waiting to be served, supposedly on the "list." I've been standing here watching at least 3 employees walking around aimlessly, not helping anyone, and to beat it all one of them is on his phone (and has been for 10 minutes). Verizon is on my last nerve. Horrible cell phone service, and one problem or another constantly. Then we try to get problems fixed and this is the kind of help their representatives offer? After battling over my trade in issues since I originally opened my lines in October of last year the problem was finally solved. I originally went in for my daughters phone and mentioned my issue to the representative that assisted me. Not only did they do an amazing job solving my puzzle with my child's phone but they fixed the trade in issues I have been battling for almost a year. This store has always been friendly and helpful to me and I have only visited two times. I recommend visiting them instead of using online or the call center. read more

This place is a joke. Extremely long waits. I complained that my Galaxy S4 that I just bought was 149.99 at Radio Shack vs. 249.99 at the Verizon store. Matthew the manager tried to tell me that Radioshack recieves an inferior Galaxy S4! That was a pretty funny line. Then said if I'd like to return it I can pay a restocking fee. I went to this store because I had a good experience there awhile back (maybe 7 years ago?). Well, THINGS HAVE CHANGED! Don't waste your time. All they do is sell phones (and expensive accessories), and many of the phones displayed (a) lack displayed prices and (b) are not in stock anyway. Most likely, you'll select one, find out the price, and find out they don't have it. But... they can order it! Well, so can I, and I don't have to drive to Cheyenne and put up with annoyances in this store. The person I talked to mumbled, talked so fast I couldn't understand her, virtually never made eye contact, and clearly did not have any interest in helping me. She had very weak answers to any questions I asked (e.g., what do you get for the extra $300 between a $500 and an $800 phone -- 'better camera?'; can you read a SIM card (No, without any explanation), etc. Really? Extremely compelling! Also, no help setting it up. OK, I bought one and set it up myself, but I try to imagine, say, my elderly mother-in-law trying to buy a phone in there. OMG. The more I think about it, the more inclined I am to take it back, take the $50 hit, and buy something else on-line. Skip this store, buy an unlocked phone on line, or maybe just dump verison, go to AT&T, where reportedly they act like they have some interest in selling you a phone (and service) and they even help you set it up! read more

This place is a joke. I'm not sure what they are selling here but it isn't phones or watches. The joker that greeted me at the door only wanted my name. I looked around and noticed a lot of red faced customers that looked as if they had been there for hours. Eight customers to be exact. I proceeded to tell him I didn't have the time. HE TOLD ME TO COME BACK WHEN I WASN'T BUSY. I TOLD HIM HE COULD FIND ME AT AT&T WHEN HE WASN'T BUSY, AND WALKED OUT. The funny thing is I just went in to buy a watch. A no contract GPS watch. All he had to do was pull it off the shelf and ring it up and I would be gone. I have been trying unsucessfully for three days to reach this office to resolve a billing issue after selecting option three (contact customer rep). I hang up after twenty some rings. I've tried at least four times each day with the same result. I thought that perhaps an incorrect phone number had been posted in the phone book...until I read all the negative reviews this Verizon office had received. Very poor management. Why do you have a place of business and not carry the items you are selling?? Went in for a upgrade, waited about 20 minutes, place was packed and the cute little freckled girl that helped up told us they didn't have that phone and than JUST starred at us. Didn't say anything else so I asked some questions, told us we could go online and order it. There was a $40 upgrade fee and soon were probably going to switch to another company. I like the phone service I receive but the fees are too much and the stores serve no purpose when they don't stock enough phones and have dumb little girls working there. 1. The process for "signing in" at the store entrance is haphazard. Do you do any training? The two young men at the entrance were chatting and laughing with others and ignored me, as I searched around for someone gripping a hand-held tablet. There was no sign to tell me where to go. I just guessed I needed a tablet-carrying person. I signed in and gave my new phone to a rep. He put it down, walked away and helped someone else. When someone expressed some curiousity as to who I was, we had to go find the unattended $780 phone. 2. The young man who found me and helped me was fine. I appreciated that he tried to personalize the experience by saying my name, but using my name 3-4 times a sentence gets annoying. Too much. I have never had the experience of asking someone to stop saying my name so often, but I almost did it. He did get my phone all set up and in a relatively short period of time. 3. The case and screen protector i bought at the Verizon store had no price tags. That is irritating and a pretty blatant move to get customers to pile up the purchases without being aware of the expense. C'mon. Judging from all the reviews, customer service is an ongoing problem Doesn't seem that hard to fix. A little organization would go a long way. read more

This is the worst store I've ever been to. When you have an issue they don't even try to resolve it. I spoke with Michelle, a sales person and she is so rude and quick to shut you down and dismiss what you're saying and give the impression that she could care less. Then when you're upset at how much she is lacking in customer service, she then says "I don't like how you are speaking to me" all loud as if you've yelled at her and all you are is unhappy and needing help. You won't get anywhere in this store if your situation isn't cookie cutter. DONT BUY FROM HERE! We had a $2400 purchase and one of our Google Homes was an empty box. They said that's impossible and dismissed it saying they couldn't do anything. We also had a light bulb that was sealed and unopened and rattling in the box. They said we must have broken it when we left the building. And lastly, we paid the CURRENT FULL PRICE for the latest model of the GoPro, was told it was the latest model. They won't exchange it, and it's the model that every else cost $280. We paid the price of the new model at $399. Still. Nothing they can do. Smh. Never again! Hopefully I save you the trouble. Service is very slow. As another reviewer noted, staff is often seen wandering aimlessly, sometimes on their phones, while a line of customers waits. Due to a problem with a specific phone, I have visited this store numerous times over the past year. They have never successfully resolved my problem, but they constantly try to sell me upgrade equipment. I won't be renewing my Verizon contract given their level of poor customer service. read more

A few days ago at this Verizon store we had a really strange occurrence. We were talking to a salesman named Bailey, maybe 25 y/o, as we were going through the soft set, new SIM card, talking about where he came from and the fact he lived in our sons town in FL, etc. When we realized we needed to buy a new phone we talked about the phones and prices we'd seen on line, hoping to keep the price down to that. Bailey said he'd go see what he had available. Next thing we knew the manager came up and asked us if he could help us. We told him Bailey was looking for phones for us and he said Bailey won't be coming out again as we insulted him. I was shocked and told the manager to tell B we wouldn't hurt his feelings for anything in the world! The manager continued to help us then eventually we got a third person, Chris, to finally finish everything. Even now, after rethinking everything for the umpteenth time I can't think of anything we could have said that could have even remotely upset anyone. I was actually sick to my stomach in reaction to all of this. We did get the phone we wanted for hopefully a good price (only reason for 2 stars and not one) but whatever happened to customer service!!?? It is a horrible place. Three times now I have had my account messed up. They are shady, and for those note 7 users, make SURE you watch what they do during your exchange. They said they would email the receipts...never did. After demanding they show me what they did, I find out that they charged me full retail for the phone I exchanged my recalled Note 7 for, and started an unauthorized payment plan for it on our account. It should have been returned at 2 yr upgrade and a matching charge for $299 for 2 yr upgrade for the Moto. It should have been a wash like they did with the first recall. And...Keven, one if the mgmt there tried to run me off by acting all bothered with yet another Note 7 exchange and lief telling me I HAD to do it online. He changed his tune after showing him Verizon's text. He always looks like such a grouch in the store. Bad customer service. Now once again I gave to spend my personal time cleaning up their shady mess. So sketchy! read more
