Unlike our previous carrier the wire was buried the same day as the install. The work was done well and has worked flawlessly since then. Speed has been as promised and perhaps more importantly there have been no drop outs. We rely exclusively on streaming video and the previous carrier's system was so unstable it was not uncommon to have the video stop to buffer more data. I'd highly recommend them.

The response from Tech support was always the same - unplug the power cord and replug. If that doesn't do it then they will reset it remotely and if that doesn't work you may have to replace the DVR. After a call to customer service and a lot of strong persuasive discussion, a replacement was sent. After 2 months of use, other issues with lost recordings and a week of no service and continued power on / off ghost events, I called again and said I'm done and will shop for a replacement company. Of course my bill went up significantly as the 24 month term was over and the customer service representative said there were no discounts available even if I re-upped to a 24 month commitment. So after comparing all the other offerings out there on a price and channel selection matrix made with the help of ChatGPT, I was prepared to move on. I made my last call in to to cancel the system and on the other end of the call was a wonderful woman who answered my call; Michelle in the Phoenix retention department. She was so helpful and felt my pain. We spoke for a while and she addressed my concerns. Fast forward: I'm back with Dish for 2 more years because of Michelle period. Apple and Verizon customer service told me her phone (the hardware) was fine but when I went into this store, the woman who helped me, the blonde hair and glasses, told me I needed a new phone and the eSIM card with only work for 24 hours. My wife's phone was having problems with her physical SIM card and service where she couldn't connect. Something didn't sit well with me when the woman told me not to spend $30 for an eSIM card but rather sign up for a new plan that would charge me an extra $25 a month or $900 for the next three years. She was pushy about it and put a lot of pressure on me to trade in my wife's phone and spend more on a new plan. I left the store, and later came back and I was happy that another worker came over and helped me. I bought the eSIM card and my wife's phone has been working without one issue. So let's see, spend $30 for an eSIM card or be told I have to buy a new phone and spend $900 over the next three years??? I do not recommend this store. They just want to rip you off and buy a new phone and upgraded plan.

The whole 100+ ms on downstream is crazy for cable. I had Verizon Fios and we were at 12ms on the downstream... AND IT WORKED! image attached is the speeds for the 1 gig service... wtf right?
