Wait time is over an hour at any time of day you go, over 34 people on wait list which they weren't referring to and allowing people to walk up or calling people who did not sing in over to the desk while the wait time and list grew twice as long. Sorry service. Had not reviewed but just received a call survey. Recording claimed having problems when I issued a very low score on 1st question; accident? No way. Had gone in and explained I did not want ANY premium channels. That all I needed was local and 409 the Sportsman Channel for Time Warner. They the man switched me to Spectrum account; and guess what, it does not have 409, the Sportsman channel. Called next day to get returned to my old plan and told impossible to do. Pretty crappy and more so that it was my specific request. I should start streaming like everyone else, but I still have Spectrum, but my rating is they suck very badly. Was out of TV and internet service for 3 days so asked for small refund. Their system did not show they had been out from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, but did show their last visit. That visit was to hook up a TV they forgot to hook up. Very crappy. I should call out the very idiot I explained bout just wanting 409, but would probably be called a hater; cause he is different. I just need to drop off the internet hardware. This should be a 1 minute stop, right? I'm forced to sign up to get on a forever long waiting list. I spoke to two people, but no way to just leave the equipment, even though all have unique serial numbers. there is the option to drop off at a UPS, but they are closed. What is the difference with dropping off there or here? I would leave except I had to drive 30 miles to get here. how does this business model even work? Crooks - when you decide to discontinue their services get ALL TRANSACTIONS IN WRITING! You will think you're done with them and then and months later you will get a bill claiming you owe them for equipment. Document phone calls, etc.... this has happened to us twice. Set up a new internet service with self install was told all I had to do is call and give them my modem mac address and I should be good. Call to set up and had some issues on getting service to work. Representative said that they would have to send someone out to the house. I asked if there was going to be a fee to install he said no because I tried everything I could. Fastforeword a couple days I got billed a 49.99 fee for the ultra speed to be turned on not for having a tech come to my home. So be wary of spectrum self install service as it is not true. They cannot figure anything out without wasting your time and ultimately come up with excuses as to why it is not their problem but yours. On 1/3/20 my mother went into the Spectrum store on Saratoga to exchange a cable box. The representative, Chris Beem, who helped my mom advised her that he could save her money and she would get more channels and faster internet service with the current promotion. He MISLED my mother. He then proceeded to tell her about Spectrums cellular and home phone services. My mother told him that he was confusing her and was not interested in the phone services at this time. Chris then told her if she changed her mind about the phone services to call the store, ask for him and he'd assist. My mom left the store believing she was saving money, getting more cable channels and faster internet. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE!! While she is saving money she has less channels and a phone line. Exactly what she did not want!! Now I'm left trying to fix some IRRESPONSIBLE representatives MISREPRESENTATION of the facts. I use Grande for internet and live in a duplex on Padre Island. The box that cable comes in for both units is shared between the two homes. Spectrum installed cable for the adjoining unit and when they did they maliciously and intentionally cut the line to my unit and removed (stole) all fittings involved. read more

Seems par for the course. However, I moved from San Antonio, I was told on the phone, that I needed to exchange my modem and get a new one. I was told I could go to any location and they would switch it out. I was happy with that. No big deal. But when I got there, I was told they could only take old modem and that I had to get the new modem in corpus, then she tells me I could have just returned the old one in corpus, and that they all communicate. So I was thinking well, if I can return it there, why can't you exchange it here and save me a trip. Anyway they wouldn't do it. So, when I got to corpus, I called to find out where I need to go, JUST FYI if you don't hit the right numbers the automated system hangs up on you. Ok so finally after 3 or 4 phone calls I get someone, oh wait! They can't help me, they are in marketing. So they gave me another number. Awesome. Called that number, phone tag a few more times. Finally got an address. Then get there, wait in line. Lady was super awesome. Really nice. So that was great. But.... she gave me modem and then, no power cord for the daym thing. So I get home, try to set it up, already frustrated and there is NO CORD. of course their office is closed at this time. I find it funny how quickly they can take my money on a Credit Card though. 24hours a day, I can sign up to be a customer. But 9-6 if I need something. Spectrum OR TWC, doesn't matter. I had to mark a star but they dont deserve one star. No rating for simply this, Spectrum in Corpus Christi, Tx on Saratoga needs their own stand alone building. The parking lot is rediculously small, the amount of time to take care of their customers is too long. They also are remodeling and have a box truck taking up multiple spaces. I can only imagine how much business other other stores in the center are loosing. They don't have a back door to use for their remodel hence the lost parking out front. The construction crew does nothing but smoke all day and park in handicap parking and in front of the building also. I've never had service with Spectrum and based on my phone call today with the company, I never will. I called because I received a promotion through the mail which was very misleading. However, that was not the issue. Once I got in contact with a representative, I believe her name was LaShondra, I was probed to answer an extreme amount of questions. The representative kept trying to add Apple boxes, streaming subscriptions, and a landline to the internet service I requested. She even told me that she believed that I NEEDED a landline in case of emergency. The entire time I was patient. She continued to ask for my social security number and other personal information. I continued to ask about other deals I could purchase that were within my price wage. When I finally found a deal I thought would work best for me, I told her I would call back later to provide my personal information because I hadn't contacted other companies. She told me to give her my social security number and other information and to "just call back later to cancel." To which I replied "I am not giving you my personal information but I will call back later after I do more research with other companies." She literally yelled at me "WHY NOT?" I replied "because I don't want to." I then hung up and received a call back from the company less than a minute later that I did not answer. She told me that we were on the phone for over 30 minutes to just give her my information. I have never had anyone yell at me over the phone, nor waste my time trying to bargain with me for half an hour. If this is how Spectrum's customer service is, I advise no one to sign up with them nor give them a call just displaying interest. I can't imagine how they treat their actual customers if this is how they treat prospects. read more

I was lucky enough to get a discount rate of $19.95 because of my age for the 32 mbs internet at my apartments where they force you to pay for the TV as part of the rent. It turn out to be too slow to watdh any streaming service or videos because it kept buffering. I tried to upgrade to 200 meg but it was unreasonable at $69. I kept calling customer service and finally got a $49 rate for what they called there 100-200 mbs service. It didn't perform much better with download reading on speedtest of 64 mbs. Of course the rules of the upgrade would not let me return back to my basic $19.95 rate. The slight upgade is not worth the price but I am stuck, it's false advertising to say it 100-200 mbs but I am stuck, we have no other providers here. I wish I still has my M1 wireless provider unit still. I would try it again . read more

My Time Warner Wifi and Telephone service has failed five times in the last two weeks. They are very polite about saying they are working on or have corrected the problem but the problem in my system and in my apartment complex continues to fail. I called them a week ago to set up a Triple bundle, they said no problem took all my information, told me that my area was covered and set up my installation appointment. Here I sit the day of my appointment, At 9:30 I got a call from there dispatcher telling me that they had a service technician on the way out, but that he was having trouble finding my place, nobody else ever has, anyhow he goes on to tell me that he didn't think that my area was covered, but to wait on the technician to be sure, it's now 11:00, they were supposed to be here between 8:30 and 10:30, no call no nothing. Wasted half of my day due to their incompetence. My guess is there won't be a visit or a call, so no internet, phone or cable tv. Spectrum you suck. I'm going to be pissed off every time I see one of their commercials now. I'm editing my review-I've had several conversations with Spectrum over the phone, still no service technician it's now 2:30. I negotiated better terms with direct tv, now I will tell Spectrum to cram it!!! Another updated, it's now nearly 7:30 PM and no word from Spectrum. They now tell me I need to go up a tier but when i attempt to go up in the teir level my channels should be present for what I'm already paying. I plan on switching. Very disappointed with the service I received from Time Warner Cable. I ordered one package and when installation time came they upgraded me to a more expensive package promising me that I would receive a $300 rewards card in 4 to 6 weeks. I called on Monday the 1st of February spoke with Jody and she stated I would be receiving an email in two weeks from Time Warner Cable he instructions. After speaking with numerous employees numerous times not once was I told that I would not be receiving a $300 rewards card which is a visa that can be used any work visas accepted I was given the runaround and promised that it just takes time to get the redemption code and again it would take weeks before I would receive the card in the mail and my account of course had to remain in good standing for 3 months. February 26th I spoke with Jackie and she transferred me with ambrosia at Time Warner Cable . I need to speak with my supervisor and I will be calling you monday morning AT 9:30 AM with the redemption code mam. February 29th @ 2:38 p.m. I CALL TWC because I haven't heard from ambrosia , she never called at 9:30 . I spoke with Mike who informed me flat out that I was not qualified for that $300 Time Warner Cable rewards card and there was nothing they could do about it . that the salesperson that told me obviously lied to probably make the sale which I had already pretty much come to that conclusion all on my own . I informed Mike that I believe that to be fraud false advertising I was promised the service, I kept my end of the bargain and they did not and for a whole month they gave me the runaround believing that I was going to receive a $300 rewards card. Then I get my bill in the mail for $161 87 which is now $55.00 more than what I was paying with my other service provider, I asked to speak to a supervisor he transferred me to Ron. Ron said pretty much the same thing that there was nothing they could do about it. Oh, but Ron, a Supervisor did say there was ANOTHER PACKAGE that would qualify me for a $300 rewards card but I would have to subscribe to the All premiums Channel package and that would bring my bill over $200 a month I cannot believe that Time Warner Cable has been in business this long and treats the customers in this way. I went from a $69 package to now $161.87 after being promised a $300 rewards card. Wow... and in order now to get it I have to purchase an all premium channel package at $200 a month. Wow... I explained to Ron that my husband and I are both disabled and cannot afford a $200 a month cable bill I never expected this from Time Warner cable, may be from your smaller cable providers but not from Time Warner Cable and I would hate to think that they are misleading other people into getting packages that they cannot afford with the promise of receiving a rewards card and that salesperson,? how many more like her are employed there doing this and she continues to do this to other people. How many more like her are employed there doing the same thing the poor innocent people . For one whole month I spoke with at least 7-8 employees associated with Time Warner Cable in reference to the rewards card and not once was I told I would not be receiving it.
