Great experience at the Spectrum store on Saratoga! Store Specialist Frank Lopez and Assistant Store Manager Monica Musella-Robledo are fantastic to work with. We recently moved to Corpus Christi from N/W Indiana & my wife & I decided to switch our cell phone service to Spectrum. Our previous carrier was Comcast Xfinity, and they were a complete nightmare to deal with. I spent 3 1/2 hrs on the phone with Comcast the day before simply trying to unlock our phones, and was given a unlock code. After arriving at the Spectrum store, it turns out the phones were not unlocked & the codes didn't work. Frank Lopez and Monica Musella-Robledo worked with us for well over an hour, most of the time on hold with Comcast, and were finally able to get the job done. I really appreciate the patience of both of them. I strongly recommend anyone needing Cable/internet and cell phone service give Spectrum a try. read more

The service is EXTREMELY slow. I waited over an hour to return some equipment. They need a better system for returning equipment. Maybe a drop box with a label you can fill out to put your equipment inside. Then drop it inside the location in a designated area. This is ridiculous. I will never use Spectrum again. read more

I've spent multiple days dealing with ongoing internet issues with Spectrum, including over 2 hours total waiting in-store just to replace equipment that still had not resolved the issue. My internet service has been unreliable for over a week, which has affected my work, forced me to rely heavily on mobile data, and caused major inconvenience. Yesterday alone, I checked in around 1:22 PM and was not called up until after 3 PM. I then had to return again the next day to continue troubleshooting. While the employees themselves were generally polite, the overall process felt extremely inefficient and frustrating for customers dealing with essential internet outages. Because internet service is part of my apartment's mandatory bulk agreement, I don't have much flexibility to opt out, which makes reliable support even more important. Due to this experience, I ended up switching my mobile phone service away from Spectrum entirely and began exploring backup internet options. I have been using spectrum for the past month and all I can say it is some of the worst internet providers I have had the misfortune of using because tell me why I am getting a 2.38 Mpbs download speed and a 12.66 Mpbs for upload My family was promised 1,000 Mpbs download and upload I do not recommend this internet provider and the customer m service sucks we have been ghosted for the past month and they even let a hole bag of equipment in our backyard. read more

Came in at 12.. they took my name to reserve my spot. Received a text saying to return to the store at 1:18p. Returned to store.. it's now 3:35p and I'm still waiting. Customer service is way too slow There were 3 of them and one wanted me to go to UPS (not what I was advised when I canceled subscription over the phone) which had closed as this was Sunday at 3 pm If I have not checked I would have returned to the same store (there is only one spectrum store in Corpus). Canceled my service they charged me for one more month not a prorated charge. They aren't very good. Customer service not helpful with circular answers. I know they are double charging at that address because I have to pay till middle of the Month and I know the new tenant that moved in at the beginning of the month is using same service. Also at another address after the hurricane came through they continued to charge me even though everything was devastated in the area. Found out the wait time for showing up for simple transaction is over two hours long. Spectrum only has one store to service the entire greater Corpus Christi market including Rockport Portland Port A etc. I think it's high time they invest in more stores as the volumes appear necessary. Service was horrible , I only went to return equipment. the facility was full of people waiting and the employees where just sitting talking at there stations . When I asked why no one was being called they were very rude . Appearance of employees was sloppy not well kept or groomed very unprofessional . I have had spectrum for seven years. I lose my Internet often. My streaming spins out quite often. The wait on the service line is ridiculous. And here's the worst thing. I called to disconnect. I am told I'm such a great customer they will make me a better offer. Then hold on after I say no. Come back with better offer. No. Come back with better offer, new equipment and a technician to come out. If I was such a great customer these offers should have been offered when they became available. Not when I'm leaving. How much is my new service. Who is my new provider. Disparage new company. And it took 20 minutes for a person to answer. Then 21 more to disconnect. I go in and a woman with fake red hair and tattoos directed me out and to the UPS store, without even checking the contents of my return. The UPS store was not able to even accommodate me sent me back to Spectrum. While waiting back at Spectrum an older man walks in who speaks Spanish and a lady who works at spectrum proceeded to yell at him because he was hard of hearing, and she thought that she needed to scream in his face and talk to him as though he was a 2 year old. She was very patronizing to this older man. There is absolutely no reason to not treat anybody with dignity just because they're older, and you don't like your job. They definitely do not care about customer service there, go elsewhere. read more

Zero STARS: Again; technical support is way off; I called about my internet because it was getting disconnected, and the automated line restarted my equipment and it worked; yesterday at 9 PM. it happened again so I called them again; and they told me I have a bad cable and they would need to send someone out. I waited for them to close so the automated line could reboot my equipment and it worked again. When I got back on line I noticed being disconnected was caused by my computer. I was able to correct this; and now I do not have a problem with it. I DO NOT NEED TO HAVE THEM COME OUT AND REPLACE MY CABLE. WOW! Spectrum get people that know what they are doing. read more

I wanted to check on adding to my phone plan, after 3 hours of waiting I went from number 31 in line to number 22. There were usually 3 or 4 windows open. One older female employee helped 1 customer for nearly 1 1/2 hours in addition to Spectrum I hear about buying a condo, grand kids, vacation..... Very discouraging. read more

Customer service is a joke. You have to wait for hours just to return equipment. They should dedicate one person for returned equipment. Takes less that two minutes to return have to wait behind 15 people looking and testing phones. Treat your current customers better. read more

Literally just came to pick up a modem, and a router for our plan that we already paid for, and because we did a walk in, instead of online reservation (the wait time has no difference in my opinion) we waited about 2 hours before we finally got help. I don't know the cashiers name, I wish I got it, but he was the only useful person there that actually did their job. The manager seemed pretty new, which I could be wrong. But was not of much help even mentioned what we came to pick up, saw multiple other customers (some for the same reason as us) waiting for about 4+ hours just to get help. I mean it's ridiculous I see why this place got bad reviews, this is just from my personal experience, but it's the only internet service for our area at the moment. If it weren't for the fact some people weren't there for their walk in appointment, we would have been waiting for at least an extra hour. They sure do send you a "self installation kit" and when you follow all the directions just as it says, the service doesn't work. I had to go in and they exchanged the equipment for some knock off equipment that said delta on the main charging block. Idk how I even had WiFi with these people when WiFi is suppose to be WIRELESS. They also said after I had services with them, that spectrum.com turns in to spectrum.net for customers. That makes NO SENSE WHAT SO EVER. Here I'm standing in a lobby full of other customers. The room is bright, cheery enough. There's a smattering of cell phones and tablets scattered on display tables. Other, cheeky merchandise in bubble plastic on shelves. And yet, only TWO out of six clerks working! Seriously??? A Saturday and there are only TWO clerks?? I was #11 in the queue. All I wanted to do is turn in equipment and cancel service - should've taken just a few minutes to do. But, no. It was thirty minutes of standing - there was no where to sit, just two small low "ottomans" that were already taken. There were two clerks and some guy running around ACTing like a manager, but actually wasn't. He wasn't able to help us anymore than the clerk we FINALLY got to see. So, an hour of standing, waiting, talking, and fuming. We still were unable to turn in the equipment (for a deceased parent). Totally unacceptable customer service! I am getting so sick and tired of wifi being out! For a long time I didn't have any issues but 2024 has been horrible! I wish Spectrum could get it together and keep the wifi on. Then they sent me a text that said if the wifi was out more than 4 hours they would credit my bill. It was out all night and out until afternoon. This Cell Phone Company uses Bate and Switch Tactics! I was looking at a 2022 Spectrum Moto Stylus 5G 128GB Phone and noticed that the manual on display next to the phone were not the same specs as the phone on display. I told the salesman that I would like to buy a phone like the one on display at the same price. He went explain the problem to the female manager and she said this store is not Best Buy or WalMart and she can change the price to the 2021 phone in the manual, not the Display Price! The two male salesmen had their heads down and said there's nothing they could do. They took the manual away after being there three or four weeks for customers to read about the cell phone. Tried to get TV, Internet, Phone bundle with this loser company. Started on a Tuesday or Wednesday and was on the phone 31/2 hours. as of today, Friday 4/28; Still do not have it worked out and it is all about the stupid phone number. Keeping the same number. I said give me a new phone number, so we can get this going. "I have to start the order over again" I already did this on Thursday. When he said that I was not going sit on the phone another 31/2 hours just to get their service. I decided it is not worth it to have it and I gave up. I told them I do not need TV that bad. I called Spectrum to cancel the TV portion of my account on 4/24/21, I was told it was taken care of effective immediately and a confirmation email would be sent. On 4/25 the service was on and no email was sent. On 4/25 I called again and told the order had not been put in. We went through the cancel process again and told I would get a confirmation email and that TV cancellation would be effective immediately. Still no email and the service has not been cancelled. I went online and used Chat support with Christina, she left saying she would look up my account but left me hanging for 10 minutes before I realized she wasn't coming back? Canceled my 20 year ATT ACCOUNT for spectrum mobile. The entire switch was exhausting, their tech support is no more than a CALL CENTER. And their answers and solutions to your problem are kinda like a crap shoot. Remember you are actually using VERIZON network and these guys, spectrum reps, are not the brightest. Brandon is the BEST!! He made a terrible situation for an 84 year old Mother/Grandmother getting a new phone when she didn't want one but had to get an upgrade from an iPhone 7. We tried to put a new battery in her 7 and killed her phone. She was in tears that she was going to lose all her information. Brandon made it such a fun and happy experience.
