It is with much sadness and ,as a senior and blood pressure dissatisfaction ,that this note is written. About 10-15 days ago we got an unexpected package in the mall with new spectrum router and modem equipment . The directions assumed we would install the new Spectrum equipment ourselves. Oh yeah ! What happened to the techs? . A relative who specialized in computers for the Medical system and my husband spent more than 2 hours installing your simple instruction equipment - NOT!! They had to call the spectrum tech as well. From our perspective we should have been offered a reduction in our billing- something you should consider in the future. Furthermore you seem so specific about the returned equipment to an office to make sure every part was there, but did not consider the fallout of many who may have left for vacations or worse yet gone for the season. Spectrum needs to return to the service business it was. This modern day tech service company either went to sleep at the wheel or just hired new management when they decided to change their equipment. The Spectrum service in Delaware, Ohio is shit. It goes down more than a $2 whore. 4 times just today there have been outages. 4. And over the past week there have been 7 outages. Not all of them rise, apparently, to receiving a text message, but when you go to the Spectrum Internet site it confirms it for you. I moved here from Powell, Ohio, and Spectrum almost never goes down in Powell. Powell also happens to be one of the richest areas in all of Ohio. Coincidence? No fucking chance. Hey Spectrum, how about hiring some engineers to keep this shitty service running for more than 4 hours at a time? Powell isn't the only place that needs reliable internet. But I guess Delaware isn't rich enough for you to give a shit. If you have any other options, literally anything at all, and you live in Delaware, Ohio, do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT CHOOSE SPECTRUM. One last thing. During an outage they will tell your their technicians can't help you. That's right. Apparently they can't tell you why the internet is down or why it keeps happening OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Know why? You're not rich enough for them to give a shit. Fuck you Spectrum. As a current customer of internet only, don't waste your time and money. The internet is terrible and is constantly going down. The $89.99 price tag for 400 mbps of data is the same price I paid for gigabit fiber in Virginia with better uptime. Overall quality is also terrible and as soon as a better option that I can trust comes along, I am taking it. Good riddance to bad rubbish. read more

Spectrum mobile sucks do not even try to do their buyout program. I received the e-mail but the three phone lines I would move over I would receive 1500 dollars. I called in six times because I'm older and do not trust and I was told that I need to pay my devices off. 2 days ago I went in the store to have my lines transferred and the spectrum representative was like ohh I'm sorry you should not have paid off your balances only one of your phones will be eligible for the buyout program. I called today spoke with management asked for an exception told my situation, and I got their bullshit response due to the terms and conditions of our buyout program we cannot help you. On JULY 15,2023 ,I got into a situation at my house where my ex wife put a restraining order on Me ,so I could not gp to my house . In which I called spectrum told them to turn off my cable and internet . They replied to me to suspended my line seasonal . We'll 3 months later I get a call from spectrum I owe 371.00 I said you must be crazy . How am I paying orchard for service when I canceled my service . Not on . There negligence. They say I owe that's the problem . They owe an apology for there mishap. read more

I cancelled Time Warner for cheaper service, and that's when the troubles really began. I'm hoping as of this morning they are at last resolved. 1.) Went to this location to drop off my equipment. It was deserted save for one person behind the desk who asked if I had made an appointment to give them my equipment. For what is listed on the Time Warner website as an equipment drop-off location? Are you joking? Said she was unable to take money from me. (the radio button below is asking me if this is "By appointment only" which is cracking me up.) 2.) I called immediately after I left and paid my bill over the phone. I asked when I called to pay the ENTIRE amount owing. They said I might get a final bill, which I should ignore. 3.) I ignore final bill. As it turns out, that was stupid. 4.) Time passes. I get a letter from their collection agency. 5.) I call Time Warner customer service and ask what is going on. They said it's an erroneous equipment charge, open a ticket and tell me it will be resolved in 5-7 days. Ok, fine. 6.) A week later, I get a call from the collection agency. I tell them what is in item #5 above. The troll from the collection agency argues with me, tells me that I owe them for service and explains how billing works to me. I might have used the f-word a few times in my conversation with them. I admit, I do not feel shame. 7.) I call Time Warner AGAIN. This time, they are flummoxed by what the charge is. After 30 minutes, they decide that they erroneously charged me for a week and a half of service after I had turned my box in but I did still owe them a small amount. I didn't understand totally since I asked to pay it all over the phone. I even distinctly remember having a conversation with the lady who took my payment about how this would leave my account in good standing "in case you ever decide to come back." But goddamnit, it's not that much money and I just want this shitshow to end at this point, so I paid them. They promised they would deal with the collection trolls. So yeah. I'll give this a few weeks, then I'll have to check my credit report to see if it's on there. Since I get substantially cheaper service and faster internet through WOW (and a modem I don't have to reboot several times a day), I was already unlikely to come back. And then all of this came along to make sure of it. What I will say in their favor: everyone I spoke to on the phone at Time Warner was super nice and helpful which is why they didn't get one star. This company almost has to purposely try to be as horrible as they are in every regard. Here I sit 7:40p waiting for my 6-7p appointment window. Probably 50% of the time the On Demand doesn't work when you want to watch something. Seemingly have to reboot boxes weekly to get channel guides to work and I get to pay $250/mo. for the privilege of being disappointed daily. This company sucks!!! read more

I am really getting sick of this cable service. Spotty service, and now they've changed the format and Made it extra confusing to find what I'm looking for. I used to be able to go to the channel I wanted and hit select to pull up everything on demand for that channel, now it won't do it anymore. I have to do a search to find the show I'm looking for and it doesn't give any descriptions of the episode I'm looking for, just an episode number. Been wth the company 10 years, with a full service... Internet has been terrible the last few months and constant daily phone calls and online conversations lead to the same outcome: reset router ??? Really everytime there's a problem it's my fault, yet its your router I am renting. You wouldn't replace or visit my address unless I paid your callout fees ( yet your equipment which I'm paying for.... is faulty/obselite ) still no replacement/upgrade offered. I finally decide enough is enough and take my business elsewhere, thinking I will finally get a service I'm entitled too... NO, I get charged for cancelling my services? And then threatened with credit rating and debt collection when I question this outrageous comment.... I'm not in a contract and again paying for an old obselite faulty router of yours which you won't replace.. Im then told I need to pay a further $50 to have this router collected ( yet on your own website you and customers state pick up of equipment is free of charge ) or please delivery it to your nearest TimeWarner store by 4.30pm ? Do you realise most of your customers work a day job and Have a family and kids to collect from school. How is a single mother of 3, who works 10 hours every day to severly interrup there work schedule and there kids school day to return your product? 10 years of loyalty from me and this is what I get back Sadly I won't reccomend you but some people got no choice read more

I can't believe in this day and age of high technology that your system makes us wait 4-5 minutes to download your system. Then 20-30 seconds to change channels. Wow, what a bunch of hacks. No stars....after begging them to fix my internet service with no luck after at least 6 phone calls, I tried to cancel all service and was told 3 days in a row, after speaking to 4 different people that that dept. was closed. I boxed up all the equipment and raced to get to their office by 4:30. I walked up to the door at 4:28 where a man was standing inside the door looking right at me throwing the lock and yelled "we're closed". I stood there and knocked while he vacuumed and ignored me.... The moral of the story is this, you can't get service but you can't cancel it either....this is the shortened version of the story.....all of the equipment is still in my car, they are supposed to send someone Saturday to pick it up free of charge....again, I have to wait for them? No apologies, no one wanted to help.....never ever again.... read more
