All the bad things you hear about spectrum is true. Worse customer service EVER!!! I left Verizon after 25 years because of price. Big mistake. It was suppose to be 25.00 a month for a year. Me and my daughter transferred our numbers and then they talked me into buying my grandson a phone for 5.55 and 29.00 a month. I bought it then decided he didn't need a different phone and returned it in less than 24 hours. They charged me a 50.00 restocking fee since they couldn't sell it as new. OK paid it. Then Instead of getting my 25,00 each promotional fee they said they gave my grandson the promotion. I didn't sign up for that. I received a bill for 84.98 a month. I called and got the run around twice. I asked for a supervisor, and was told they will tell you the exact same thing. I had spectrum for 1 month and I am canceling tomorrow. Stay away from Spectrum. read more

1) On June 2, 2025, I applied for internet connection for my rented accommodation through the Spectrum service provider with a monthly service fee of $85, which is included in my monthly rent for the Delta Crossing residential complex. 2) On June 3, Spectrum employees visited me and installed and configured all the necessary equipment. 3) On June 8, I received an email from Spectrum, asking me to pay my first bill of $10 by June 20. As an employee of this company later explained to me over the phone, this is a fee for additional services, namely for increased internet speed, different from the basic tariff. Until now, 10/06/2025, I have not signed any agreements with Spectrum Internet provider due to lack of time. The monthly payment for renting housing in Delta Crossing for June 2025 includes a monthly payment for the basic Internet service tariff from the Spectrum provider in the amount of $85. I did not give anyone consent to change the basic tariff, did not sign any agreements or any documents. I ask you to cancel the additional monthly fee of $10 and cancel the bill issued to me. I want pay thi bill, since I didn't consept to the connection of this service and didn't use this service. read more

This is the new location in Matthews. I only dropped in to get a new receiver for my new tv and replace a remote that had issues with particular numbers not able to press. The remote exchange was seamless. The new receiver and remote for my new tv is different and more modern. I don't care for it much but it takes time to get use to. read more

Bring snacks because you will be in line forever. There are no separate lines for internet customers so you wait a long time for cellular customers to get phones activated and such. It doesn't seem like a good process. read more

They lie about the price it's cheap at start then skyrocketed to $275.00 plus .Only reason we keep it my 81 year old mom likes the spectrum news .Spectrum are straight crooks you'd have to be in a six figure income to afford this service. Don't trust them read more

We needed to set up internet quickly and Spectrum gave us a responsible price without hidden fees or increasing our monthly bill over time. Great download speed and consistent service with multiple devices on video at once without junking out and/or reconnecting. Hope it continues strong. read more

SPECTRUM TIME WARNER - Constant connection issues and all I get are excuses! I've called multiple times and I've had reps out twice and still the internet speeds are up and down. All I get are excuses for why it doesn't work. I can't reach customer service due to high call volumes. Theine just tells me to go to Spectrum.net and then hangs up!! read more

New Router Issue: After a recent need for onsite repair, I was unaware of the Router was changed to a "Newer" more advanced Router. If you currently have a "Dual Band" Router (5ghz and 2.4ghz)...DONT change it out for the NEWER Router. This NEWER Router "supposedly" has the 2.4ghz which automatically detects and connects to your "Bluetooth home devices" such as: doorbells, outlets, switches, lightbulbs etc). Problem is, nothing connects. You're told to have the devices as close to the Router as possible. Even then, no connectivity. Online support tells me to go to the Spectrum store and swap it for the Dual Band. Store no longer carries the Dual Band they had three weeks ago. The online support then schedules an on-site service call...to switch the New Router back to the Dual Band. He shows up..."no surprise," they no longer carry the Dual Band in the service van. Talking with the Tech.., AND online support, both tell me of the number of complaints being received because of this same problem. One of the Techs sisters ended up changing to AT&T. However, during my third call to online support, with all options now exhausted, she said she could have one sent to me for the cost of shipping ($9). To me...my problem solved. As for Spectrum, you need to get both your service techs and online support on the same page. Better yet, find out why so many are having problems with connectivity using your new router. And when changing them out, why not "test" connections before leaving. For this new and improved router being unable to make the "automatic" connection to 2.4mhz devices, there's obviously a problem that needs to be addressed or, Techs need to know what it is that's not being done correctly. read more

Waited over 40 min for two reps and two customers to be seen. Extremely slow turn over time with customers.

Went in to disconnect service since I was on hold all morning. The store told me to keep trying instead of canceling my service in the store. What's the point of having a physical location when you can't do anything? read more

My family is moving out of state where Spectrum is not available. I will be cancelling my Charlotte Spectrum account for our landline, cable, and high speed internet - $221.70/month. I will return all Spectrum equipment to their store (no pick up on Spectrum's part) on 5/10. I was informed that although my services will be promptly discontinued on 5/10, I must pay until 5/27/21 when my subscription ends. This policy obviously is to Spectrum's advantage and, I was informed, is written on the bill. I don't understand why the bill can be prorated. It doesn't seem right that I must pay for services from a company where I cancelled services. In addition the service has been terrible. When I recently reported another outage, not attributed to weather, I had to wait 5 days before a technician could come out...the problem resolved itself in 3 days. read more

I just got back from the SPECTRUM STORE In MATTHEWS N.C. I cannot believe how BAD the customer service was there!! The person working with us could not figure out how to take a DVR off of our account and put a CABLE BOX on it and was asking help from other employees and no one could OR would help him!! Another employee finally handed us the CABLE BOX and told us to GO HOME AND CALL CUSTOMER CARE!!!! To top it off he said we would still be charged for the DVR until we did so!! As this was happening I saw another customer come in with a piece of equipment in his hand and told one of the other employees that he had gone home and called customer care as instructed by another employee there and they told him they could not help him that he had to go back to the STORE!! THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN!! I ended up telling them to just give me my DVR back and left!!! read more
