this is a SCAM. held our stuff hostage for two and a half weeks, never moved the stuff an inch out of their warehouse (we moved out of state and the stuff never arrived) he then forced us to pay $1000 ON TOP OF the initial deposit of $1300 just to get our stuff back. I hesitated to write this review, given small businesses are in need of our support, especially at this time, but I truly want to help Exclusive Moving to get better, and I want to save others from the challenges I experienced with my move. Some of those challenges were self inflicted. Others were caused by a complex move which I believe is not Exclusive's expertise. I moved from a high rise building in Uptown Charlotte, which has an underground loading doc and a long haul to get to the freight elevator. There were three issues that forced the move to expand into a second day: 1. Packing was extremely slow and disorganized - even though there were a total of 4 men, the packing took over 5 hours for a 2 bedroom apartment. This meant we arrived to the storage unit very late in the day and after hours. 2. No organized process for efficiently load the truck. Because they are not used to a high rise move, the team was unable to create an efficient assembly line to get items from the apartment to the truck. So there was a considerable amount of time wasted. 3. Because we arrived after hours at the storage facility, it was too small, but I was unable to deal with getting a larger space until the next day. However, instead of just heeding my assessment that the unit was too small, the team (now tired) tried to force things into the unit anyway. This caused them to put things in the back of the unit that I specifically asked to be in the front for easy access. Eventually they also had to take some things out of storage and put it back on the truck. We finished day 1 at almost 10pm. We were able to complete the move the 2nd day with the incredible support of the Public Storage supervisor. In the end, the move cost me over $2k and there was no willingness to work with me on the price - no offer of concessions given the move went long. I should have negotiated on the front end to cap the costs and I should have asked more questions about their experience with long haul moves. The team was professional and capable, so I hope Exclusive will figure out how to do this better next time. read more

I highly recommend this company. They are a great value for the quality of work that they do. We hired Exclusive Movers to load a 20-foot Uhaul for a long-distance move. Their office was responsive and easy to communicate with and they also accommodated us when we needed to change the date of our move less than a week in advance. The day of the move the team called ahead to let us know they were on their way and they arrived 10 minutes early. They worked SO HARD loading our truck for about 2.5 hours. I was nervous that all of our stuff would not fit on the truck, but they made it all fit with a little room to spare. They also wrapped every single piece of furniture in a blanket, so everything was safe on the truck. Now that we have unpacked all of our boxes, I can say for sure that we did not have a single item damaged in the move. Exclusive Movers made our move so much less stressful! read more

I have used Exclusive Moving & Delivery three times already, and they do not disappoint! Brian and his team have always been on-time, courteous, hardworking movers. You will not witness these guys "taking their time" or "chilling" on the job. While they do handle items with caution, they do not waste a customer's time, and I appreciate that.
