They had the modem we needed after a storm knocked out ours. The girl said, "Just plug it in"! "Are you sure?", we said. Two days later after no T.V. and awaiting a technician (and 2.5 hours on the phone with Spectrum tech support) we asked Google! Turns out there IS a sequence to follow when hooking up a new modem. It took 5 MINUTES! Absolutely zero help from Spectrum for what could have been a simple fix. read more

They sell a phone for $50.00 and then you get a billing for another 112.00. But it gets better. They will "finance" the bill at 20 per cent interest. You will never pay it off. Scam alert!!! When you go in to make them aware of the issue the piggy manager expects you to know the person's name who set the scam 2 months prior. Their records should reveal this. Steer clear of Spectrum shoddy business practices, and inferior equipment. t mobile has a better deal and their equipment does not need to be replaced everybody 4 months like spectrum/charter. Very convenient and close store at a great location. There's a kiosk to sign into as soon as you get there. They do work pretty promptly at this location however, they are not the friendliest. I don't with a mobile advisor who was getting frustrated with an iPhone, and was cussing and saying all kinds of things, not at me personally, I just found it very unprofessional. They do offer a great phone plan compared to other mobile carriers so I do recommend checking them out read more

Worst ISP out there - slow overpriced service. I saved $30 a month by going with ATT for 3 times better speed. Then Spectrum wouldn't let me cancel because my exwife had opened the account - they actually thought I would keep paying them for nothing. Wouldn't let me cancel from my internet account, wouldn't let me cancel by phone, and told me I had to drive to their store so they could tell me I couldn't cancel the account even though I live here. Received a new router after discovering our current one was bad. Went into the store, the salesman gave me the new router, I signed for it and left. Thought this was going to be simple, but turned into over an hour to get it figured out. I could not find the new router info listed on internet choices. After contacting Spectrum tech on the phone, they told me that the salesman kept the old router information; name, password. Which probably would of been fine IF he told me that was what he did. Please tell your salesperson to let customers know what they did and explain it to the customer. Wasted a lot time on this. read more

When they found out that I had placed my order over the phone, they told me that I needed to change my SIM card myself. Numerous time they said they didn't get paid for phone orders and therefore I needed to do it myself.I ended up going to ATT and they helped me get my phone working. The problem was the guy on the phone when I ordered told me just take my phone to the store and they would take care of everything. Horrible service from Spectrum!!! read more

I moved my mobile service to Spectrum Mobile in Nov. 2024. They have a program that will reimburse your payoff up to 5 phones max amount $2500. So when I moved my 3 lines over, they reimbursed 1 phone line like they said. However, my 2nd line which i only paid 2 installments on, but the reimbursement programs say you need to make 3 installments for the program. The manager, or saleslady I worked with told me 2 installments wouldn't be a problem, my regret I listened to her and was denied the pay off balance like she promised would be no problem. Every customer service rep I talked to was amazing but could not help me. Even after I explain I could come back in a month and sign up then, but was reassured I would be paid the rewards. I spoke with a leadership lady who actually lied to me about the installments actually saying it was 4 installments and not 3, and I even have proof that it's three. Basically, calling me a liar. So when I called back and talked to another leadership lady she said the first leadership lady was wrong. So I am out $600 from listening to the saleslady at the St.Charles, MO location. They will tell you anything for a sale even if their wrong, because Spectrum will do nothing to correct the fraud and lies told to you. read more

Arrived 2 hours 35 minutes before the store displayed store hours (5:25 pm) and none of the phones were on display. I asked where all of the phones were and they said they were locked up. I asked why and they said they closed at 6 pm due to reduced store hours. They had 35 minutes before they closed yet there was not one phone on display. Guess the employees and manager wanted to leave early due to being a Friday. They lost my business. I will purchase it somewhere else. I would give it zero stars if it would let me. read more

Terrible experience. Internet service is horrible. I had constant outages. It was also annoying that I lost my home to a flood one day into the payment period and there was no way to get out paying for the whole month. I highly recommend AT&t. Their service and quality is so much better! I was just unable to get it at this apartment. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. Spectrum mobile as a company SUCKS. I wanted to do a simple trade-in for a phone. First, the website showed a different price for the trade-in and after confirming with an employee about the price online, that price was not honored. Of course, there was no annotation of this conversation. Second, the new phone was never delivered to our home. Instead, it went straight back to Spectrum where it showed it was delivered and sat in their warehouse for 3 days without being scanned. I spoke to an employee again and was told I can just do the trade-in in the store. So I drove 3 hours (I don't live in a city where there is a store) and went to the store where I was told that the phone hadn't been scanned in so I, in fact, could NOT do the trade-in in store. So basically drove 6 hours total for nothing. And finally spoke to a manager and you know what they said? "We can offer you a $15 discount for the inconvenience." Lol. Keep your freaking $15 Spectrum. Y'all need it more than we do. Horrible company. 100% would NOT recommend. read more
