You can't even call in to Support without getting a customer rep who doesn't give a S*&% about what your saying and responds with template apathetic statements over and over again. Once you finally call them out on why they are ignoring your specific question, then they realize the malaise they were in and then get loud/angry. I'm so sick of these people/company. read more

Cannot convey how absolutely worthless their customer service department is. I recently moved and eliminated my cable so I would only have wifi at my new residence. Instead of taking cable off my bill they kept cable on AND added international calling, a service I never had or wanted to begin with. I received a bill over $200 higher than I signed up for that has STILL not been fixed 3 months later. I have spoken to 5 different customer service representatives and somehow no one has managed to fix my bill after being promised on multiple occasions they were "absolutely positive" it would be corrected. As soon as my account is corrected I will be cancelling my service so I never have to deal with this incompetence again. read more

Every time I attempt to get an install done by them because I am in apartments that insist on having deals that I cannot escape with this company I am left waiting for 4-6 each time instead of the hour window I am promised. Would not recommend this company. Had internet with spectrum for many years. At least 6 times a day my internet goes out and spectrum is clueless on how to fix. Finally made the switch to Frontier. No more dropped calls and my internet stays on 24/7. Called spectrum to have service shut off. The guy would not shut up and just cancel my service like i requested. I just had my internet, phone and tv installed and so far everything went very well. The Spectrum guy was professional, courteous and made sure I understood how to work everything before leaving. Also, when I called about getting service the representative was very courteous and helpful with getting me the lowest cost. She advised that my apartment complex already provides the tv service free of charge and the phone/internet combo was cheaper than internet alone. The worst service we have ever had. They advertise no contracts and fast internet, the truth is you pay waaaaay more than if you had a contract and the service goes out all the time. Or internet and cable goes out several times a day, sometimes for a few minutes sometimes more than 30 minutes. And the price is just ridiculous, we just came from california, we had one of the top packages there and also HBO and showtime, here we have the most basic package and we are playing twice as much. REALLY NO STARS!! Worst service in the business, replaced my existing carrier at the end of September and had 5 internet outages of hours or full day, TVs connection constantly fuzzy or non existant. Telephone went out all the time. 3 technicians came out over 2 months. Cancelled at the beginning of December, with 3 weeks left in my billing period, and guess what no prorate refund of unused service fees. What a sham, scam, plain robbery. Spectrum ignored my no soliciting sign and banged loudly on my door while I was in the middle of a conference call. He said I had requested they come out to give me more information about switching. This is not true. I would never use their unreliable service. If you want a company who ignores your wishes on your property and then lies to you to gain your business, go with Spectrum! The technician that came out and set up our service was fantastic. But the constant barrage of spam "spectrum" phone calls 2-3 times a day asking to upgrade our service was enough to switch. Also, I will not suggest Spectrum services to my enemy. 10/30/2020, someone from Spectrum deactivated my account and I tried to reach customer care starting 10AM and got somehow activated by 4PM EST and 11/01/2020 my bill started to climb up by an additional $20 for the same poor service Spectrum offered. I am with Spectrum for the last 9 years and getting the Sales team is a challenging, meanwhile you can reach moon and come back before the call connects to the sales team. As Sales team is the only one team who have rights to activate and deactivate a line (Looks funny). I don't know what are all other problems I'm going to get it from them. If I could give a negative rating I would. I pay for 1GB connection speeds and only get 160mb. Not even worth the lowest you can pay for. So to Spectrum, I wouldn't advertise you have 1GB connection speeds because you really dont. Oh and having to share my connection isn't me getting what I pay for. I am a customer of 10 years with Spectrum (formerly Brighthouse), and was getting ready to switch to Frontier for a better monthly rate. Being a loyal customer usually never gets you the best deals as businesses are always trying to acquire new customers and often times forget about the old ones who constantly pay, year after year with no payment breaks or incentives. Today, a wonderful lady took my call and understood my frustration. She was able to lower my payment and Spectrum kept a customer. Her kindness made me feel like I want to stay with them another ten years. Spectrum has their corporation rigged worse than Scientology. They raise their prices every two months out of corporate greed, even when they have quoted you a price for an extended period and because there are so few providers in West Pasco County they take FULL advantage of it. They expect you to check your bill every month as that's where they hide the notices that they are raising their prices in hopes that you won't see it. Then, when you see the increase on the next month's balance it's too late, they say you can't have your bill pro-rated because "they don't do that any more." To make matters worse, everything they do is predicated on the fact people will get busy and forget to take action. I told them I wanted my TV and home phone service removed at the end of this billing period. They told me they couldn't do it, which sounded a LOT more like the customer service person trying to keep from being hit with a services being disconnected against their quota. They said if I wanted to get rid of two of my services, *I* would have to wait until the end of the month and call back to have them disconnected. During Thanksgiving week. My other option was to have them disconnected early and still pay their bloated price increased fee for the month. The customer service people pull all kinds of BS on the phone from leaving you on hold for over 30 minutes before switching you to someone else to pretending to be supervisors when in fact they are just the person sitting next to the first person you talked to. Do yourself a favor. Move some place where you can get decent entertainment services and don't get yanked by Spectrum promises. They are lies. No matter what they promise you, they'll increase the price in two months. Every two months. read more

The Linebaugh location is disgusting. Customers have to go to the back door a lady takes your name and you have to seat on folding chairs so cheap it makes you wonder where the money goes. Very unprofessional place and disorganized is a very disappointing experience. Regarding services this company is extremely overpriced for what they offer. They have the rudest customer service ever, and some lady gave me an attitude because I wanted to cancel my cable because they charge $157 for basic cable and basic internet, and she DEMANDED to know why I was dropping cable. They charge way more than Frontier for internet, and it's slower speed. Additionally, I've been with Spectrum for almost 2 years and the internet goes out at a minimum once a week. Our WiFi goes our for hours and despite resetting it will not come back on. This is a reoccurring issue that happens at least once a month. We are all students and need reliable WiFi and we sure pay enough for it. Customer service is always telling us different things but never actually able to help us out. The person I spoke with was extremely rude and began shouting at me that "we have been inundated with claims and cannot give you any information at this time." I actually tried calling spectrum just now for the dozenth time because yet again my service was interrupted. This time supposedly because I am behind on a payment. I tried calling to get this resolved and explained I am a disabled veteran who needs assistance and I am tired of having to call spectrum either because my service goes out randomly at night while working or right as I have 3 or 4 hours left on a movie I payed to watch that's expiring or because they raise my bill for no reason or a bunch of other things they have done to make my experience with spectrum miserable. On top of this when I called this last time a manager named JAMES in TAMPA FL answered and was very unhelpful. In fact I started getting a little frustrated because he wouldn't listen to what I was saying, he would just repeat the same line over and over, then when I asked for his information because I felt this call was very unsatisfactory he tells me he doesn't have to do anything except tell me his first name and laughs at me.
