Thank goodness they finally have more efficient processes in place. My hubs was able to upgrade his phone for "free" after his screen broke. He called, spoke to an agent that secured his Galaxy S22 at this Verizon and made the payment from our account. The only fee was an "activation fee" & taxes. All he did was make an appointment online today for pickup at 12pm. They handed off his new phone and will no longer help with transferring old data to new phone, so FYI. Also, no new ear buds or a phone charger included. The phone has no port for ear buds, so it doesn't come fully loaded or you could pay more if you wanted to get a case, too. read more

After being a loyal Verizon customer for almost 27 years, I can honestly say the customer service has become absolutely horrible. Every interaction feels like a stressful nightmare because nothing is ever handled correctly the first time. I recently discovered I had been paying for FOUR inactive lines with no devices attached for nearly three years. Then when I called to disconnect those lines, Verizon somehow disconnected MY actual phone number instead while still trying to keep hotspot charges on my account. The constant hidden fees, billing mistakes, activation charges, and "upgrade fees" on supposedly "free" phones are beyond ridiculous. Why is a customer of nearly three decades still being charged activation and upgrade fees? Meanwhile, my daughter switched to T-Mobile, paid zero activation fees, zero upgrade fees, kept her phone, and her bill was exactly what she was promised. Imagine that... honesty and competent customer service. Verizon clearly no longer values loyalty, because long-term customers are treated like walking wallets instead of valued customers. I came to this location on both Wednesday and Thursday both of my transactions were time consuming (we left store with 3 new phones, 2 watches and necessary accessories - etc..phone cases) The service we received from Felix Bonafe and Rylee Nieporte was OUTSTANDING. The patience they showed us while we were making our decisions was impressive. The patience they showed me w/my lack of technology skills was truly appreciated. Worst Verizon location ever! Do not waste your time and money going here. They placed wrong orders for wrong phones, were unable to tell us our bill, we got charged for phones we never received. We went to this location like 10 times for one issue they had created for us and it's been over a month and yet to be resolved. While we were there, the lady that was helping us just decided to go to the back room and have lunch, having us wait. Who does that? We still don't have our money back or issue resolved. Never will I ever step into this location. We also saw lots of other customers getting angry at the store and annoyed with the Verizon team as they had issues. DO NOT RECOMMEND, this location made me want to reconsider me as a customer at Verizon and still has me thinking about switching to a different carrier. read more

Customer service is non existent. We went in knowing exactly what we wanted, 4 new iPhones. It took us FOREVER to finalize the sale...2.5 hours. Emnet was trying to be nice at first but unfortunately very incompetent. She couldn't show us the itemized receipt more than once, she said we had to call customer service (her name tag says "specialist"... she should know). I could expound more on all the ways this poor girl couldn't get her job done but I don't have space. Anyways, none of the phones were available in store so we had to had them shipped. We bought some accessories in store but unfortunately did not receive 2 of our 4 phones. Eventually the order was cancelled and marked as lost. I went back into the store to return said accessories but they wouldn't accept them. I asked to speak to a manager but UNFORTUNATELY there is NEVER a manager. I had an interesting situation...my caller id was showing up as the wrong name. I tried the Verizon chat line to fix this with no luck. I went back to my go-to Verizon store and Chad was a miracle worker. He patiently listened while I explained what was happening. He continued where another very nice salesperson left off and fixed my problem! He said that if what he did worked that today I would be able to see my name as the caller id. Well, IT WORKED!!!! Last week my husband and I went to this Verizon Store just to check on the validity of the emails we had been receiving offering credit for our current phones. We were met by Dyaneza who verified that the offer was valid. We began to discuss new phones and she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and plans. Ultimately we both got the IPhone 15 and are so pleased. One concern was the transfer of information from old to new phone and she assured us this service was available but there was a charge. We were glad to pay the cost. The process did take a while but she was most patient and professional in helping us. My husband's phone easily transferred because he has very little on his phone and limited apps. Mine however was a different story. She began the transfer process and noted that because of the volume I had on my phone it would continue to transfer. I remember this process from several years ago when I got the IPhone 12. We left very pleased. My phone continued the transfer process but I encountered some problems. Two days later We went back to the store. Dyaneza was with another customer so Reece stepped in to help. He discovered the problem quickly and transfer was completed. He encouraged me to take my old phone home until I felt comfortable that everything had transferred. Today I returned to turn in my old phone to complete the transaction with Reece who again was most patient and helpful to answer my questions. I would also note that Zo,the store manager, also checked in on us during the first two visits to see if all was going well and if there was anything more that was needed. This was not a quick process but we felt at every step we received excellent service and were most pleased. read more

Have been a Verizon wireless customer for over 20 years. Went to get a new phone and was told I would receive a 300.00 loyalty credit prorated on my bill for the next 2 years. This was in March. Still no credit. I have called customer service multiple times and was told it would take 1-2 billing cycles. It's now 5 months later. Been to this store multiple times as well to try to resolve this. Was told the same thing. Then in July the store manager Chad told me he would make sure it was taken care of and gave me his cell number. Now more than a month later still no credit and calls and texts go unanswered. When they offer you a credit make sure you get it then and there. This sounds like a scam to me. I would have not gotten this phone without the loyalty credit I was promised Very disappointed I may change carriers. read more

These stores are useless bc they basically call customer service to solve problems, people at the store only sell you stuff other than that good luck waiting for hours, customer service rep on phone going thru all the 1000 steps they have in the training binder instead of directly to the problem u have explained in 5 or more visits. On top of this Verizon is now scamming people in making believe that the phones you buy are "free" or only a few dollars per month with a trade, their plans are now 36 months instead of 24 and they don't tell you upfront you find out until you check your bill and it says credit 1 of 36, and to make things worse, they don't let you pay for the phones in full and get a discount on the phone you returned, if you do that you have to pay the full price of the phone even if you traded a phone in. I was a bit torn about heading to this Verizon location as it is smack dab in the middle of what I like to call Nicaragua. That being said, the Verizon store in South Tampa was the worst possible and I was really wanting to treat myself to a new phone for the holidays. I packed an overnight bag and made the trek to the store in search of a new mobile device. The store itself was well lit and very clean, in a fairly packed commercial area which I believe is called Citrus Park. I was greeted quickly and was placed in queue for someone to assist. When I was called up, I advised the salesperson I was in the market to upgrade from a Motorola to an S6 Edge. He walked me over to the display and began to discuss the different options and price points. While doing so, he did seem to be a bit uninterested in the conversation. I can understand that many folks like to "window shop" for phones yet never buy one. I on the other hand go through phones quicker than I go through drinks, so I was really trying to make the best informed decision. I made my choice of new phone and handed over my card. That's when the slow down began. He was willing to take my payment and then passed me off to a young woman behind a counter at the back of the store. He said a few words to her and then rushed back to the front. It was a bit frustrating explaining what exactly I was trying to accomplish and to explain which of my phones required an upgrade. She took quite some time finding my account and then attempting to complete my transaction. It also seemed that their network was having difficulties (really, Verizon wi-fi wasn't working INSIDE the Verizon store?!), so while she was trying to activate my new phone, it was actually killing my data plan by installing updates and downloading apps over the 4G and not on the store's networks. Then came the massive inconvenience of waiting 30 minutes for my old phone to reset to factory defaults. All in all I spent between 90 minutes and 2 hours in the store to complete, what I would think was a fairly common and simple transaction. My family was in the process of looking for new phones when we realized it would be cheaper to switch to a new carrier. Verizon was offering a deal where you got $300 off your new phone when you exchange your old smart phone. We ended up with newer phones, more data, and a smaller bill by switching plans. Rob was the agent that helped us and he did everything in his power to make the process easier. My grandma is on our family's plan, but we were worried about the switch since she lives in North Carolina. He was able to have the new phone and a box for service shipped to her free of charge. He also upgraded two phones on the plan to better models, free of charge, when the models we wanted were out of stock. I had no issues and the service was great. I'd recommend this Verizon to anyone in the market for a new phone or carrier. read more

Within a minute or two of walking in, a salesperson checked us in. They are very helpful in explaining different plans to save you money. I upgraded my iPhone from the 4s to a 5s and hubby got my 4s. Accessories are a bit more expensive but didn't want to take a chance of buying cheaper version of car charger and having it blow up. They do offer discounts but you have to ask for it. Was also able to save money on my fios package by bundling it together. It's not usually a quick transaction but worth it to find out all your options. Salespeople are all very helpful. read more

This Verizon store is aces. Devon helped my wife and I get shiny new Thunderbolts. One of them developed some problems and Devon and the store manager were very responsive. I was very impressed with the service I received the several times I was here. I have since switched to the iPhone on AT&T because of their HSPA network support, but I have my eye on a 4G LTE hotspot from Verizon. I got a new phone here, but the one they gave me had a SIM card that wasn't working, so they replaced it, but in the process of that they broke the SIM card holder and didn't tell me...when I left the store it was in a the case and I didn't realize until I took it out of the case later on. They send you a text message saying hat if you have any questions feel free to ask, so I asked about the SIM card holder and if it can be replaced and they keep ignoring me....so crappy customer service....they got ahold of me and asked me to come in and basically said too bad cannot fix it...DO NOT FI TI THIS STORE....all they care about is a sale and screw the customer read more

Went to AT&T around lunch time 5min wait & they had chairs & comfortable seating thru out store. Verizon also changed the store to a cold non customer friendly store. Not much to say unless you want to wait around for a agent I understand there is going to be some type of wait however there are to many things going on in this store. Loud music playing across the speakers Agents are having to raise their voice to talk to customers causing others to hear what's being discussed as well as there is so many folks talking it's difficult to hear anything else but others and makes it difficult to do business. We did not get serviced for over 35 minutes. While we were waiting four Verizon agents were standing around doing nothing we discovered that They were there to sell Fios. Really, if Verizon is going to staff this store everyone should be cross trained to assist with all that is offered at the designated location for silos should not allowed. I walked out after waiting for 35 min and watching agents hang out and nonetheless with a head-ache from the music and the overall surroundings! read more
