Ran with Speed District last weekend at Laguna Seca. It was a great weekend. The attendance was lite (good for the drivers who were there), so in order to make it a better day for all, Josh rearranged run groups so there was more track, and more track time, for everyone. It was a great move, and made the Porsche group I was there to run with very happy. Josh and Rueben were well organized, and very chill. Really appreciated that. Love their events! I've attended almost every one since first time I started tracking with speed district! Everyone is super friendly and is just hanging having a great time in between runs. I usually get about 3-4 hours run time every time I'm there so it definitely makes the trip out well worth it. If you haven't gone to the track yet, I recommend speed district but I do have to warn you because you will end up hooked! Also, they only allow up to 50 cars which is so awesome because it's not over crowded and every one gets loads of track time. They also offer driving instructors and professional photography of you and your car on the track. Awesome! Try it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed! read more

I have been attending Speed District event for over a year and am incredibly thankful for how well Josh runs his events. I've been to other track events held by other organizations and none of them compare. Speed District events are a hidden gem in Socal and I am surprised not more people know about them. If you have never been to a SD event or a track event at all, I highly recommend trying one out. Whether you are advanced or beginner, the separate run groups and 60 car maximum at each event helps assure you will have plenty of space if you are worried about on-track traffic. read more

Do you like having a ton of track time and minimal traffic? This is the company to go with. You will have so much track time, you won't know what to do with it, seriously. Yes, it's a little more expensive than some of the other HPDE companies out there, but remember they include timing AND all the photos. The other guys will hit you up big time for extra charges, especially photography, and they can't compete when it comes to track time and traffic. read more

My first track day ever was with speed district. An unforgettable experience to say the least. Safe and laid back. I had an instructor help guide be through he day since it was my first time and I was told it's very useful for first timers. Good flow and rhythm throughout the day and no feelings of chaos on the track at all.. I felt I had lots of space and at times I was the only one I could see on grid. I did not feel obligated to run every session and went at it with no goal or expectations. I came home with a huge smile on my face lots of videos and images to share w friends and family. I've been going to track events for a few years now and absolutely love the Speed District events. New people are often intimidated by going to a race track and pushing their car. Speed District offers a safe and fun environment to do it in. Veteran trackers know the basics of what to expect, with the exception of getting more time on track then the rest of the organizations. Everything everyone has posted is absolutely true. No matter what your level of experience, Josh will put you at ease. He usually includes perks - lap timing and photos - that other groups charge extra for and keeps the number of entries to a very reasonable number. With other organizations I've found it so crowded that there is little difference between the track and the freeway I drove to get there. I've jokingly asked him if this is his personal charity; with his policy of keeping entry numbers to a minimum he certainly is not making any money - it's a labor of love and it shows. read more
