Worth the Drive from Temecula! Garen is a Genius! I cannot recommend Revelation Hobbies enough! I live in Temecula and called around to at least 6 different shops in my area looking for help with a project. I have a couple of older Nitro RC cars (specifically a Kyosho Inferno GT) that I wanted to convert to electric ("Frankenstein" them), and no one had a clue what I was talking about. Then I called Revelation and spoke to Garen. Not only did he immediately know what the Kyosho Inferno GT was, but he also understood exactly what I was trying to do--even though I really had no idea what I was getting myself into, lol! I made the drive out to Montclair, and it was 100% worth it. When I got there, Garen grabbed all the parts I had discussed over the phone. But when he actually saw the car and the used parts I already had, he stopped me. He told me I didn't need half the stuff he had pulled, figured out a much better way to do the conversion, and ended up saving me over $70! It's rare to find a shop owner who will talk you out of buying things just to do the job right. From now on, for anything RC related, I'm making the drive to Revelation. I know I'll actually get the right advice the first time. If you're reading this and live a distance away, trust me: make the trip and ask for Garen. He's the best! read more

I would write 10 stars if I can! The staff is super nice and friendly! The track is super cool. When you break something, you can swing by the hobby shop across the parking lot and get the part to repair. The prices are also very good! Got a set of TZO pre mounted tires for $30 even! Most sites are selling for $60 at least. Great track and shop! Will keep supporting them! read more

This place is amazing! The Owner Garen is a good dude he's got a ton of knowledge and wisdom, if there is something you need he probably has it or can get it quickly. The stuff he sells is the same price you'd pay online he doesn't up charge. Came in with a few older (what turned out to be Amazon RC cars) to try and fix a few parts. Garren, took the time to look up the car and the parts. Got me the info needed to order the parts and said if I couldn't figure out how to fix it bring it in with the parts and he would take care of it. Went to a similar place in Rancho that was friendly, looked at the cars and let me know he didn't have the stuff to fix it and would need to look it up on google to find the parts and that was it. This is a place you must see if you're into RC. There is an outdoor dirt offroad track and an onroad asphalt track, as well as a small mini track. This business is owner operated and the owner is very helpful. There are public restrooms on-site, and the tracks are wheelchair accessible. They always have a large inventory on hand of offroad, onroad, mini Z, Tamiya, Losi, Associated, Serpent, Mugen, Kyosho, and many more. The off-road track has live timing most of the time, while the onroad track usually only has timing on race days. The pit area is huge and can handle both tracks with a lot of drivers. If you love RC and just want to watch the cars drive around, it's always fun to watch. Go into the store and shop around to see what new in the RC world. If you want to race, they have on-road racing on the first Saturday of the month, and off-road racing on the third Saturday of the month. They have beginner races as well as pro and seasoned groups to race with. Revelation Raceway also hosts large racing events like the Tamiya Championship Series and many more. New to the hobby of rc and am very glad to be within 20 mins of this place. They got an awesome dirt and on road track where they allow a plethora of vehicles to be ran. Picked up my first off-road rc car from here, a Traxxas slash, and have been loving it so far already changed out the shocks to gtr shocks and can't wait to try racing it here!! The owner is also very knowledgeable and helped us get my dad's old nitro car from the 90s started up again! Will probably end up bringing it here since we're having trouble with tuning it. definitely a great place to buy a car, drive, get information, or fix an old beat up rc car. I bought a new 1/8 scale nitro buggy and had issues trying to break it in. I already knew about Revelation Raceway as the kids and myself have visited several times before to watch races. I had no doubt that bringing my car to Garen, the owner, that he wouldn't have any issues helping me get it running and dialed in. The engine had some mechanical issues too but he knew what to do and tackled the mission. I returned the next day and we ran the car to test it and I couldn't be happier! I told Garen he will be my new best friend, lol. Great tracks & good vibes. Everyone here was nice on the track. But the customer service freaking sucks. Traveled from Santa Clarita with my kid to check this track out. A Heavy set white guy/ staff in the store was not helpful nor had any type of customer service. I wanted to purchase a body for my kids Traxxas, but he was too busy eating to even say give me a minute. Once again went inside to buy a battery.. yet again he didn't acknowledge me!! Brought a few friends to run a couple electric trucks on a Sunday. Dirt track is awesome, great track with good jumps. Big pit area with outlets for chargers. Lots of people running mostly nitro gas cars with a handful of electrics. The guy working the counter was able to fix a loose screw in my truck's axle housing for free. Appreciated his help. Track usage cost is good. There's also a rental RC truck for an additional cost, and looks like they sell snacks and drinks. Word of Advice: if you're a novice, definitely come during less busy days. Parking is also rough if you come on a busy day. read more

Yesterday , I took my 9 yr old daughter here and it was going to be her 1st time driving her own car. We watched for a little while, talked to a few guys around the track and then she was ready to get after it. Everyone there was so patient with her. I believe the owner was the one waived her track fee. She definitely had a blast and we found our new hobby shop as well. Came here for my son's birthday and he enjoyed the racetracks a lot. They are great for RC race car fans and the staff is helpful. They also sell many RC vehicles. Just call ahead to make sure they aren't having any special events that day. The staff is very nice. They have bathrooms there but they looked very disgusting. They are very knowledgeable and patient I should have just came here to purchase from them in the beginning , prices are lower than my area and the customer service is beyond what you could ask for.
