I've never had to get a windshield replaced before, so this was a new experience for me. My dealership recommended 1st Stop Glass Service. They use them for all repairs or replacements on the vehicles they sell. So, I figured if it was good enough for them, it would be good enough for me. Prior to their recommendation, I had called a few local and national auto glass shops to get quotes. The prices ranged A LOT... anywhere from $200 to $380 + extra for mobile service... These were out-of-pocket costs, as I was not using insurance. 1st Stop fell somewhere in the middle in price but they were easy to work with. I spoke with Dorothy on the phone and she was very pleasant to work with. She said to be weary of the really cheap shops, as they may be using used glass and other cheaper materials. She also cautioned me against using the popular and well advertised option. As this unnamed company makes their own glass windshields that are of poorer quality. 1st Stop won my business on price, guarantee and the fact that there was no charge for on-site mobile service. The installer, who used to work for the unnamed auto glass company, came and promptly installed the new windshield the same day. It only took about an hour but he said to let it sit for two or three after the install. The auto glass came with a warranty for as long as I own my vehicle, against water leaks, air leaks, manufacturers defects and workmanship. Bonus... they offer free glass chip repair for the 1st year. I don't foresee needing a new windshield anytime soon, but if the need arises, I'll be calling 1st Stop Glass.

I called and checked on the particulars of the offer and was given an extensive amount of information and set up with a appointment for the next day. Upon arriving I was met by a lady named Lisa, who was most informative with the various types of tints available, and it's various pricing. She is quite a knowledgeable individual in this area and has great customer service skills. Their facility is very neat, comfortable with Netflix or Hulu on television you to view while waiting, fresh coffee and other Refreshments to amuse you during your time waiting for your car to be completed. An hour into Indiana Jones on the TV, and my car was ready and it looked great. My only drawback which is not their fault, is waiting 3 to 5 days to crack my windows as I like fresh air flowing into the car while I drive. I highly recommend Liberty tint Solutions as they were quite professional very accommodating to the customers needs while waiting, in the end result is spectacular.

This business sold our friend a car which had not been inspected. After the sale they were told to…read morebring the car back and they would take care of the inspection, even though the engine light was on. When she returned the car they took out an OBMD code reader and reset the codes on the car and tried to run it through a local Inspection Station. The inspection station knew the codes had been reset and told the guy that he would have to drive the car for about 45 minutes to allow the car's computer to re-run its diagnostics and make sure that no warning lights show up on the dashboard. The next thing our friend heard was that her car was about 30 miles away on the side of the road because the transmission went out and the guy left it there. I can not imagine how many laws they broke in this one instance, but for sure resetting the car's codes in an effort to circumvent the state inspection station is something that is one of them. I am also filling an incident report with the state DMV and Attorney General to have this place looked at. Beware if you go here. If it happened to her, it can happen to you.
