After the loader cleared out most of the snow, Joseph was able to hook us up

Got stuck in the snow, in the middle of the road, during a gnarly storm up in Julian. Winds had to be upward of 40+mph with snow and ice piling up everywhere. Joseph happened to be in the area while all other tow companies were not responding, or stuck at the bottom of the mountain due to all roads being closed. He initially didn't think he could get us out and was about to leave, but it just so happened that a heavy equipment loader came by, cleared all the snow from around our vehicle, and dug us out a place to park the vehicle on the side of the road (my family was able to hike out on foot to the place we were staying, and I was only concerned with getting our vehicle out of the roadway). Speedee Towing was then able to get close enough to hook up our car, pull us out of the underlying snow that we were stuck in/on, and move us to the spot that the loader had dug out. Joseph was awesome. He worked hard for the situation we were in, and seemed to really care about the safety of everyone involved, including other drivers in the area who were stuck. Of course, as the weather picked up, the cost kept increasing. From $200, to $250, then finally $300 (This is not a dig... as mentioned, this situation and weather were both insane. It took a few hours from initial arrival to when we were moved off the road). Joseph had me call in to their office and Evan (sp?) worked to try and get me a reimbursement letter for my particular insurance company... still waiting to see if I get reimbursed. Overall, communication has been excellent. Next morning, all I had to do was spend a few hours digging our van out of the snow and ice... but we were on the side of the road, and not blocking traffic.

AMAZING SERVICE!! Joseph was super quick, got to me within 20 mins. I was having issues with my brand new car for a while, He was able to get my car started and helped me figure out what was wrong with it. Great customer service and manners, not the usual grumpy tow truck driver. Very happy with the service.

Very thankful for Yousif and Speedee Towing for coming and recovering my 4Runner off of Otay Truck Trail. 3 other tow companies had been dispatched but would not even attempt to drive up. Yousif and his partner were very knowledgeable of the area and once on scene very professional and great to work with. Highly recommend Speedee Towing for any towing especially if you need off road recovery. Thanks again guys!

Exceptional Service by Joseph at SpeeDee Towing. Not only was I greeted with a smile and welcoming personality, Joseph jumped our car happily. Service was fast (under quoted time allotment) and professional. Highly recommend. I asked for a business card to keep in my wallet for future needs! Joseph was a bright spot in a not so bright day.

These guys were great. My insurance company tried to pull a fast one and not cover my tow. But the driver I had, Joseph, went to bat with his boss and they got me covered. It's nice when a company goes out of their way to make life a little easier. I was already stressed about my truck having an unknown issue but SpeeDee Towing looked out for me as the customer. I couldn't recommend them more!

Acknowledging me when I first came in, was a big plus for me. That is a lost art in customer service these days. As promise once he was done, we immediately went to my car. I let him know what was going on & what I had experienced. He explained there could be a variety of reasons, but stated he will look into it right away and advise me to sit in the waiting area while he checked on my tires. After a short while later, he came to me explain everything. He did such as adding air to my tires explained.Sometimes they fluctuate with weather changes and recommended a possible wheel alignment, if the problem persists. His patience and kindness with me stood out more than anything so I felt compelled to write this review

I had my tires replaced here about a year ago, and recently I got a nail in one of them. I sent my…read moregirlfriend in to get it patched, and she was told it would be a 2-3 hour wait just for a simple nail repair. After waiting that long, they ended up saying they couldn't patch the tire because the tread was too low. The tread is clearly still good--well over 50% left--so the explanation didn't really make sense. The service was frustrating and felt like a waste of time for something that should've been a quick fix. Only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the manager did step in and apologize on behalf of the employee she was dealing with.

After reaching out to several shops a few of them who couldn't do the repair recommended American Factory Wheel. I gave them a call to see if I could do same day even though it was afternoon already. The person who picked up the phone was very nice and told me the soonest would be the next day morning and I could book through their website. As soon as I hung up I immediately received a text with a quote and link. Booking through their website was fast and easy. Came in today for my 9:30am appointment and Darren helped check me in, drove it into the shop and within a few minutes confirmed the crack is repairable with a cash/card quote and about 2 hour turnaround. They finished at 11:20 just under 2 hours. Cost was $242 OTD with card. Easy, fast, great service, good price

The Good: Points for being fast. I replaced four tires and got wheel alignment for a little over…read moretwo hours. Some understanding during our communication when I pointed out a price discrepancy. The Bad: Nickel and diming. I've been going to Firestones since 1999 and every location I've gone to just applies all the active, applicable coupons. No games. It's why I've kept coming back even though the prices have steadily gone up (it's gone up to $270!). This location did not do that. I bought 4 destination tires, which has a coupon for a $70 discount. Because I spent over $600, another $100 was deducted. Because I bought the wheel alignment, there was a coupon for a $40 discount. Total discount: $210. Josh initially applied only a $40 discount to the tires. When I showed him the $70 coupon, he was about to say something but ended up just applying the the $70 coupon. He then indicated that he applied the extra $30 off. When I picked up the car, I was told I would get an email with the invoice and Josh indicated again that the extra $30 was applied. The following day I called for the invoice and saw the invoice only reflected $180 off. I called Firestone and spoke to someone who put me on hold for about 10 minutes then transferred me to Josh. When I pointed out the discrepancy, he stated that he applied the extra $30 discount by removing a TPMS Valve Kit charge, which was $30. There was no reference to this TPMS Valve Kit Charge on the invoice. I told him that this was not reflected anywhere on the invoice and asked how a customer would know that there was an accurate deduction when there was no reference to this charge that was removed and instead said a $180 discount was applied. When I asked why he applied the $40 coupon instead of the accurate $70 coupon, he did not have an answer and just said he would send a different invoice to show what he did. Josh then emailed a separate invoice that looked like it was made on the spot that applied two "PRT-DISC Customer Expectation Discount (Promise not met)" discounts totaling $140 and the TPMS Valve Kit Charge for $28 ($7 for each tire), which was not discounted and therefore made the invoice $30 higher. I thanked him for the explanation but noted it caused me to waste my time because he never explained what he was doing in the shop or on an invoice and I, instead, had to call because it looked like I had been cheated $30. He replied that he hoped he would get the benefit of the doubt that he was being honest and I responded that this isn't a reflection of my thoughts on his character but no one gets the benefit of the doubt. We're strangers making a transaction, this is why invoices exist. He then said he had to do it this way because could not apply the correct $70 coupon because he had already entered the $40 coupon in the system and that he went above and beyond for me. I explained he didn't do anything more than he was supposed to do: apply the applicable discounts and accurately process the transaction. If we're being 100% accurate, he didn't do these things or even explain what happened until I called, which is why I wasn't happy with the experience.
