Amazing beach, cozy vibe breakfast spot we stumbled into at Bondi Beach. The pancakes were absolutely amazing and presentation was everything! They were so fluffy, and loaded with fresh fruits on the side and a blueberry compote to top it off. Paired with a fresh mango on top this thing was absolute perfection! We also ordered the toast with eggs and smoked salmon and ricotta. We started off with this before our pancakes and it set the tone for a balanced breakfast. Super fresh and just light. I decided to go with the Brazilian roast black coffee and another good choice. The place itself is steps away from Bondi Beach and the views are stellar.
Come for the view and enjoy the food. We went to Speedo's because it's a staple of Bondi. It's literally won an award for 'most instagrammable beach' and rightfully so. We tried the Big Breaky, Bondi Rescue, and Banana + Chia pancakes. It can get quite busy during peak brekkie hours, so expect a bit of foot traffic and slow service.
Very fast service, love that they put messages in the lattes. Ordered the protein bowl, which was a lot of protein for me, and not seasoned well enough / would have appreciated some sauces with it. We were a party of 4 and were seated right away even though it was a busy Saturday morning. Lovely location right by the beach. Busy atmosphere. Would go back wild just order something else!
I heard about this cafe through Instagram! We decided to try this local cafe spot for breakfast and I'm not disappointed at all! :) Pros: -super cute view -friendly staff -great variety of food -aesthetics of food and cafe are well done! -delicious food! -also there's heaters inside for a cold day! Cons: -not much but some of the items i wanted to try on yelp weren't available but maybe they're seasonal?
This little cafe has the perfect view and is even better in the morning as the sun is coming up and the day is starting! I came here for breakfast with my family and ordered a latte with a buttery ham and cheese croissant. The coffee was soul-warming for the cold day we came in on and the croissant was so flakey and melt-in-your-mouth good! They seemed to have a great selection to try, so it was really hard for me to narrow my choice down at first. They had nice seating and really cute modern seating outside as well. Everything was open, so the ocean view seemed like it would be perfect anywhere you choose to relax and start your day by the beach. I can see why this is a local favorite spot!
Speedos is everything! I love this Bondi gem. The caramelised banana + chia vegan pancakes were beautiful, delicious, and massive. The pancakes were dense, and a little dry, but I still devoured every last bite. They were covered in loads of fruit and drenched in maple syrup (you'll prob need to ask for extra syrup since the pancakes are so huge)! Seriously, just order the pancakes. I also tried the pitaya chia pot. It was super cute and refreshing but very difficult to eat.
I came to Sydney during my birthday trip and of course I had to visit the famous Bondhi Beach. I found the restaurant on Instagram. Searching for "Sydney Foods". I do this with every place I visit as I am a foodie. The beautiful colors captured my heart and made this place a "Must Eat". Now Sydney or Australia in a whole is more expensive than the U.S. and I am from NYC. I had the Vegan pancakes and it was absolutely delicious! I loved the view overlooking the beach. Definitely will visit again when I return to Sydney! #AbVenturous
Cool little cafe with a great view. I got there 6:00am. Two nice gals there let me know the kitchen wasn't open until 6:30 but I'm welcome to coffee and banana bread. I got a mocha and it was perfect. It was presented beautifully. The temperature was perfect to where I didn't have to wait for it to cool. The banana bread was fresh and piping hot. Watch out for the butter, it will spill. I'm American and used to thick butter. I got a smoothie to go. Very nice place to grab a bite.
The line up is so confusing, there's a bunch of people waiting to get take away and the rest are standing around wondering where to go to get a table. The tables are very close together which made the place even hotter! The presentation is always very very nice but it's pretty pricey for what you actually get. I got the coconut chia pudding. It has the chia pudding at the bottom, topped with macqui berries, watermelon, veganola and CocoWhip with some berries and fresh cut kiwi. I also got their lazy summer drink which had pineapple, coconut and banana in it. The drink was $7.90 which I thought was way too much considering the pineapple tasted like it was from a can. The chia pudding was refreshing but the prices overall deterred me from ordering more. Our bill was $35.70 for two mediocre drinks and a chia pot. Would I visit again? Maybe just to try their acai bowl but besides that, probably not.
We had to come here while at Bondi Beach based on the rec from Somebody Feed Phil! A beautiful view of the beach while having a great brunch. Loved the big brekky with the variety of breakfast foods! And the açaí bowl was amazing. The peanut butter was sooooo good. Highly recommend Speedos for a great breakfast when at Bondi! read more

Casual restaurant right by the north end of Bondi Beach. It's quite small, so I imagine there would be a wait at times, but we were there on the late side for lunch and were able to sit right down. I sat facing the beach and enjoyed the view. There are also some counters facing outward, so if you pick a counter, the whole dining party can face the beach. I had the caramelized banana pancakes, which come with poached berries, seasonal fruit, pistachio, and maple syrup. They were delicious - quite sweet, but it's not as if I weren't warned. My niece had the chicken bowl, which had grilled chicken breast, danish feta, avocado, roasted almonds, edamame, zucchini noodle, tomato, chilli mayonnaise, leaves, and ginger reduction. She liked it so much that she has already been back with her friends. All in all, a delicious meal. read more

Great location. Woke up and went on a sunrise walk by the beach and then walked over here for an early breakfast. The pancakes were so good and the açaí bowl was great. Great portions. It's a cute, homey cafe but also small so I recommend being there early in the day to avoid waiting a while to get seated. read more

The Instagram photos come to life at this tiny beach-side cafe! These pancakes tasted as good as they look. As expected on Saturday morning, there was a line for take-away but we walked right in for a table for two. Delicious! read more

Coined with the phrase "the most instagrammable cafe" we had to try it out while in Sydney! The food was beautiful and delicious and I would definitely recommend trying it! The cafe was very small and pretty cramped to get around in, but if that doesn't bother you then go. read more

Had breakies here 5 times during visit to Sydney..our favorite place by far. Everything we tried was excellent..very fresh food and perfect Aussie Coffee. read more

went to speedos, right opposite North bondi beach, great location. I went because they have some delicious looking photos on social media. we ordered the healthy options: a pink Pattaya bowl that was more like a smoothie but in a bowl, with passion fruit, kiwi fruit, mango and toasted muesli. Light and tasty. I got the muesli bowl that was essentially a plate of fruit (rockmelon, passion fruit, strawberry, watermelon) with a small jar of yoghurt, muesli and honey to drizzle. It felt like what we were eating was healthy! They had eggs, and bacon options, burgers, pancakes (which looked beautiful). All dishes coming out certainly looked beautiful, and very colourful. Coffee was ok, I think I'd orders juice or smoothie next time as they looked good. It was very busy, pretty noisy. Waitresses were very attentive and fast service. There were some amazing looking cronuts on offer too. From their insta page, they do lots of cool cronuts. A bit pricy for what you get, but it was nice and we're probably paying for the view. read more
Who doesn't like dining by the beach? Especially when the view is as nice as Bondi Beach.This was the first time I have ever been to Bondi Beach so the view itself really caught me by surprised and when my cousin suggested that we come here for brunch and I was happy to comply knowing that it is literally by the water. I want to do note that it is a small cafe, but their system seem to work because although it was pack we were seated pretty quickly. The staffs were so sweet, we wanted to sit right on the counter facing the beach so she made sure we got those seats. Not only is the food here delicious, they are more on the healthier side so you know it's good for you, and boy are they pretty to look at. What we ordered: - egg white omelette: I hate plain egg whites but this was not bad at all! I fairly enjoy this dish - pink pattaya bowl: We mainly got this because of instagram. Its pretty to look at and take pictures of but for taste wise, there's not a lot of flavor there. - eggs Benedict: This has the best of everything. I actually finished this. We went here early in the morning to beat the crowd. We were able to get a table right away but when we left there was a long wait! I ordered the hot cake. It tasted like cake! It was lemon and raspberry flavored and topped with yummy fruit and a caramelized pear. Everyone in our group was happy with what they ordered. We ended up going back later that day to get a bowl. So good on a hot day! read more

Very popular place, so the wait was extra long. Fortunately, the yummy food and coffee made up for it. I got the Vegan burger which was exceptional and the portion size was insane! Also, the location is everything, right across the street from the famous Bondi Beach. read more
The perfect breakfast place to sit and enjoy a perfect view of Bondi Beach! Had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and spinach. It was delicious! Also had a few bites of the pancakes with fruit. Both were so yummy and tasted so fresh! read more

If it's good enough for Hugh Jackman, it's good enough for me....Mr Jackman proudly showed off this cafe when Oprah did a story about him...if that's not love i don't know what is? Speedos is one of those special cafes. It's away from the main strip in North Bondi and it overlooks the beach. Expect to see an array of Bondi Characters inside and out of Speedos - and especially be prepared to see many a surfer.... Prices range from between $ 7- $18.... I wouldn't say its excellent value for money nor would I say the food is outstanding but there is something special about this place.... perhaps its the fact that you can mixnmatch your breakky choice - which i think is an awesome idea... If you're not sure what to get may I suggest the Speedo's Lifesaver - Toasted Turkish bread, cream cheese, smoked salmon, avocado and lemon - a great start to the day. read more

Anyone going to Bondi needs to try Speedos Café! Take a window seat and you'll see spectacular view of Bondi Beach! Fitness fanatics, swimmers and surfers flock here for their healthy menu including their Sydney famous pink pitaya bowl! Yes, this café has a fab menu but most importantly, their coffees are great too! read more
A great place to stop by after being at the beach all day. I ordered the pink pattaya bowl and coconut water. The coconut water tasted super refreshing after being in the sun all day. The bowl was beautifully presented in a cute bowl and the color of the smoothie was a vibrant fuchsia. It also tasted great! It was sweet but not too sweet. The fresh fruit, coconut, and granola added some nice texture to the smoothie. I know I will definitely be back here! read more

Nice beachside cafe which has seating outside as well. It's always packed but we didn't have to wait that long. They do takeaway as well if you fancy to eat closer to the beach. Lots of healthy and gluten free options for the health conscious! We came here for dessert after a full lunch. We ordered the coconut chia pot which uses Cocowhip (vegan, lactose free, gluten free coconut water soft serve)! Good for lunch, coffee, snacks, dessert, kids, groups. read more
This is place is literally Bondi Beach. Located to the north - the views are breathtaking and each plate is instagram worthy in looks and a tastebud party for your mouth. Not feeling like heading in for a table - grab a takeaway coffee, a cronut and head over to one of the most iconic beaches in Sydney. After dropping off someone uber early at the airport we decided to visit Bondi. And after seeing many cronut pictures we stopped by for breakfast. Go the poached eggs with avocado on toast. Food was good, coffee ok. They have indoor tables and the outdoor tables are on a slant so its a weird. Overall, ok first time visit. Good views from the outdoor seats read more

Ordered the pink pitaya bowl, the green bowl, long black and a double macchiato. The green bowl was delishes, the pink pitaya bowl was good but probably would have appreciated it more if it were a hot day. The coffees were ok, but unfortunately the staff weren't that friendly. read more

Cronuts and chia jars is what caught my attention at Speedo's. Located right next to the beach, this cafe is always popular and their refreshingly delicious dishes reinforces that. Their cronuts (offered from midday) have recently been the craze with so many different flavours and appealing decorations such as the cookie monster, elmo, minions and the classics of course! These are best enjoyed beachside, so takeaway a couple or three and head down to the beach! read more

I would give this 4.5. If you like to Instagram your food, this place is for you. I became aware of this place through Instagram..and their pancakes, cronuts, and fruit bowls are works of art. I like that they have healthy options as well as decadent. I had the coco chia pot, which was great, but it's not filling and was the price of a full meal. It was really busy but we managed to get a spot pretty quick. Nice view of the beach. Downside is that it's obvious the servers are stressed and two were snappy. This is my pet peeve. Retail and customer service sucks, but it's your job to wear serve with politeness. But hey, my pics of my food are sweet. read more
