At the end of December, I put a $10 bill into the lottery machine, the ticket got stuck coming out. I notified the only employee there, the guy behind the counter. He told me that the manager would have to get it for me and he took my name and number and said the manager would call me the next morning. I got no call. I went back in the store that afternoon but again the manager was gone. I asked the clerk to call the manager which he did and then he told me that the manager said to come back next week. That is unacceptable. Horrible customer service. So I asked for the number to their corporate office so that I could file a complaint. I called and was given a claim number and told that someone would contact me. After a little over a month, when I hadn't heard from anyone. I called back and was forwarded to a "specialist" who acted like he had no idea who I was or why I was bothering him. When I told him who i was and what I was calling about he said "I KNOW" and told me a letter of resolution had been sent out. I got the letter 2 days later and it basically said that they think i made the whole thing up. I guess they must be hurting for money since they have to steal from their customers. DO NOT GO TO SPEEDWAY. NONE OF THEM HAVE A MANAGER THERE AFTER 3:00 (MUST BE NICE). SHEETZ HAS FOOD 24/7, SPEEDWAY CLOSES THEIR KITCHEN AT LIKE 10:00. IF THEIR LOTTERY MACHINE JAMS, THEY HAVE A MANAGER THERE WHO WILL OPEN IT AND GET YOU YOUR TICKET. MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO SPEEDWAY. read more

1mimute into using the restroom the manager pounds on the door yelling at me telling me to hurry up. 2 more minutes in she's banging on the door again. apparently I'm not allowed to bring a bag in the bathroom. when I get out I'm humiliated because I had a stomach ache and she's freaking out on me, I genuinely was in the bathroom for maybe 4 minutes. she's blond maybe 40 years old with glasses. She's calls me a piece of shit And tells me I was in the bathroom too long with a bag. I ask if there's a sign that says I'm not allowed to have a bag in the bathroom and she says yes by the donuts. And I said why would I look at the donuts when I'm going to the bathroom, why am I being berated for somethg I did not know I wasnt allowed to do? This woman has such a miserable life that she has to yell at someone minding their own business using the restroo. Not to be confused with Need For Speedway, which is where Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer fuel up now and again. This is a good gas station with diesel prices close to the airport. Obviously it's good when you're wanting to get some gas right before taking a rental car back. It's been right where I needed it to be on a number of occasions so I appreciate that about it. My review differs from the others for Speedway. I'm commenting on getting gas for my car. I didn't go into the convenience store. This Speedway was across the street from Cleveland Airport Hotel that I had stayed at. I needed to fill up to drive from Cleveland to Columbus. I stopped here. For Canadians, the biggest issue is attempting to use a Canadian credit card at an American gas pump. Although I have a way to bypass the annoying enter-your-zip-code prompt when Canadians have postal codes, I was thrilled when this prompt was nonexistent and I could pump gas into my car. Yay! The screen that prompts you to enter your credit card, pump your gas, and shows what specials are happening at this station was crisp and gorgeous. I was impressed. It was the nicest screen that I have witnessed at any gas station. Speedway is clean. There were plenty of pumps available. I had a great experience. (399) read more

The manager is very unprofessional, and lazy. She is extremely lazy even telling customers that they need to call the main office to have a resolution met for an issue that is totally and complete a store level problem, not to mention it is not the cusotmers responsibility to call corparate. It is also extremely, and utterly a mess and gross inside, they are always "out of stock" of the hot food items, but they just never make them. Because of lazy management. I stopped here to refuel the rental car before returning it to Hertz at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. It's a very busy gas station - all of the pumps were occupied when I pulled in. Waited my turn, paid at the pump with a credit card, and I was on my way! It's about 5 minutes from the Rental Car Return facility - so it's very convenient! read more

This place survives on the rental car return business I'm sure, the pumps are old and slow but it's convenient being just a few miles from CLE. No frills here but the receipts at the pumps always work so I never needed to go inside. I also appreciate the fact that there is no price gouging going on here not to say they don't charge a few cents more per gallon but it's reasonable for what it is. read more

Dirtiest gas station I've ever been too. The sidewalks and walkway I front of doors were so disgusting that there were actually sticky, like if I had flip flops on I could have easily walked out of them. It was everywhere, not like some dropped a drink either, look at the pictures. The inside wasn't much better either. The floors were dirty, the counter were covered in sticky pop. The shelves were very messy, and most alerting was the bin on random hot dogs and tornado things the employees brought out from the back and put on the grill. They were all coked already. The only thing I can think of is there were left over from yesterday and they were putting them back out. read more

Always packed with scumbags. I usually prefer scumbags but these ones don't bring anything to the table. Always packed and people park how ever the hell they want. I feel badly for someone who may actually be handicapped because some heffer is leaving here 6 kids (unbuckled) with the car running in that spot so she can get grape rolling papers and a soda the size of her thigh. America at its finest. Maybe with a Zanex and a 40 this might be fun to watch but don't actually try and pump gas here.....ever.. read more

First off, Chill Club Soda Machine either out of CO2 or just poorly calibrated. Leaning towards the latter since this problem has been pretty constant on all my recent visits. I should have known though...someone had abandoned a lid-less cup of sludge in front of the system as a warning... and I wish I had listened. Please fix. Can't chill when your cup is just Dr Syrup. And now everything else: -Slushy machine seemingly always down. Not shocking since slushies are just soda with a physical science degree, but still a sad thing to see. -Everything is sticky. Thankfully there are complimentary puddles of motor oil outside for you to preslick your shoes on so you can glide over the sugary coating on the floor. Have yet to find a solution for not gluing yourself to everything else. Important advice: Don't touch anything you don't plan to buy, because it'll take more effort to pry the glaze off than it would to go to work and earn the money to buy it. - The bathrooms are extremely safe! Someone in management (or who SHOULD be with an idea like this) realized they could build a moat around the restrooms. There's always a mop bucket that I assume they use to keep the moat outside the restrooms full. Almost gave it two stars because of this, because in no other bathroom do I feel like the king of the castle, but then had to remember this also important advice: Don't sit down on the seat because it's true that EVERYTHING is sticky. Really hope this place can pull it together, or that the Speedway on Munn just down the street starts staying open all night. read more

Great place for gas if it's not too crowded. Generally cheaper than most of other places. I appreciate that it is well-lit when it's dark outside. It is generally crowded during peak hours though and there are plenty of gas stations around the corner that stay competitive with the gas price. read more
