Great food and drink, as always. But I asked for salt and the woman said she didn't have packets. So I asked if they had any salt at all in the entire store. She said yes but it's just in that shaker over there. That's why I asked the second time can I have it. She says well it's for drinks and stuff. So then I asked the third time, but can I have it. Finally she with a sour attitude got me this salt. And this woman appeared to be a manager or shift leader. I truly don't understand. It's not the idea of not having salt packets. I can understand that from a money perspective for Starbucks. But what I don't understand is the attitude of not wanting to give a guest salt when you clearly have it. Isn't the attitude supposed to be: how can I make this person's experience wonderful? I mean, what a dumb response. read more

This Starbucks opens super early - 4:30 am on weekdays - so it was great to find a spot early in the morning to do some laptop stuff before the Sun comes up. It was clean and quiet as the staff were putting away the overnight stock and making coffees. I was here for about two hours with my Tall Blonde Roast and no one minded. Power outlet and wifi worked well, seating was comfortable. Order on the Starbucks app and you can customize without having to explain to someone what you want. Super easy! Disappointing and Discriminatory Experience I went to this Starbucks recently and ordered my usual drink, but what I received was completely different--and two sizes smaller than what I ordered. I couldn't shake the feeling that the way I was treated was because of the vehicle I was driving. It was very clear I was being judged and discriminated against, which is shocking from a company that claims to be inclusive and welcoming to everyone. I ended up throwing the drink away because I was genuinely concerned it might have been tampered with out of retaliation. I will not be returning. Stay away from this location if you expect fair and respectful service. read more

I've only been here once, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I usually don't go to Starbucks locations since it's not really my thing. But I sometimes do go. I usually go to Starbucks locations in Targets, however. This is the first independent Starbucks location I've been to. The vibe was alright, could be better. I got myself a strawberry matcha frappe, didn't really taste the matcha at all, tasted more like a milkshake than a matcha drink. The staff sometimes outright ignored me. It was a pretty busy day, I get that. But it even happened when I was right in front of them sometimes as well. I bet there are better days at this location. I hope to never have to go back to this Starbucks. I been here several times and I am now ready to review it. I have noticed several things about this place that needs improvement. The toilet in the shared bathroom on the left will not flush sometimes. The people that work here are not the friendliest that I have ever met. Most coffee shops know me by name after awhile, but not this one. They don't care. They are always busy especially in the morning. One time I visited the drive through and the woman was very unfriendly and mean. The person who operates this is never nice and friendly. She doesn't care whether you buy coffee here or not. She thinks you don't know what you are doing but t you do. I don't what her problem is. I mean it is easy. All you got to do is reach behind her and give you your coffee and smile. This Starbucks is located in the new portion of White Oak, near T-mobile, Five Guys, Embassy nails, etc. it sits right on the end with a drive thru. I frequent this location a lot, 98% of the time via drive thru with mobile order. They tend to be busy, so I would say get used to waiting. The staff is always kind and my order has always been correct and finished by the time I get there. I've never had an issue! Totally recommend doing mobile order and avoid typical rush hour peaks to lessen your wait (8-9am, 4-6pm). read more

I used to visit this Starbucks location at least twice a week before covid hit, but now the location has completely changed. Aside from the lack of seating to accommodate people with laptops or papers to work on, the staff just seems not to care anymore. I ordered a decaf Pike Place roast and a water, and was told they'd have to do a pour over since they didn't have any decaf prepare, to which I agreed. I even left a tip. I got my water after about 7 minutes, but I just kept waiting and waiting for my coffee. Eventually after about 30 minutes of waiting I got fed up and asked if my coffee was ready, to which I was told that they made it over 20 minutes ago but they just sort of left it there and forgot about it. They said they'd make another one, and I agreed. about 5 minutes later I'm handed a cup of coffee with almost no cream or sugar, and it tasted like the beans used were completely burnt. I didn't even bother trying to fix it at that point, I just got up, threw it away, and walked out. I'll be going elsewhere for coffee from now on. read more

I've been coming to this location for awhile now. At one point it was an every other day type thing and the service was great. These last couple of times the drive thru was moving slow and not sure why bc there was only one car ahead of me this last time. Another time they were out of my fav refresher (Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade) but the barista suggested the Strawberry Açaí lemonade with a shot of raspberry and it was good but not a fav. Ordinarily this location has been less than stellar. However, today the staff was friendly, coffee hot, and my food was pretty quick. The barista even walked my food to me and organized the chairs and tables on her way back to the counter. Very impressed. The spinach feta wrap was pretty good! read more

I went in to ask for a keto coffee (a coffee blended with two butters). They refused to make it for me. They have butter, they have blenders. Every other Starbucks I have ordered this has done it for me. They were not particularly busy. Horrible customer service. Will never return. read more

I've been to several Starbucks and this one is the slowest one by far. The guys are friendly but I feel like they don't really care about the customers. When I got there it was empty, there was 4 employees working but 3 of them were just chatting about "difficult customers" even though I was there. Anyways. After a while sitting there the place got busy and they took a while with each customer and I noticed they did not even apologize for the long waiting with any of us (Customers). Drinks were fine. I have not received great service at many Starbucks locations in my time on earth, but this place right here... with Allison and Erica, they were amazing! Allison took my complicated order for the office and she repeated it back to me and NOT ONCE did she sound irritated. Then when I got to the window, Erica took my payment and was so helpful. I asked for a drink carrier since I had so many drinks and she handed me all the drinks on a carrier and was so polite and apologized for some of the drinks taking an extra couple seconds. I haven't had great Customer Service in a while from anywhere and this totally made my day. I've worked in Customer Service for 15 years and from the business stand point, people like this that work in Customer Service are like finding gold! read more

Super busy and loud Starbucks location. I think they are working out the kinks. It's the first in this area so I'm not surprised it is busy. The bathrooms were spotless and the dining area had plenty of room but again, it was loud. Definitely an in and out type of Starbucks. Hard seating and small tables. Not the place to come and work. I think the bakery items looked fresh and they had a variety but I did not partake. Behind the counter looked clean and I observed the workers cleaning as they went. The outdoor seating looks promising for cooler weather. It's a large, fenced patio area with many tables. Too hot for a 90 degree day but I think it will be great in the spring and fall. My drink was as expected. It took me a few moments to flag them down and tell them to do lite ice. The employee caught a mistake before making it - I was about to get a hot drink! Thank goodness she caught the oops. Again, good for in and out or drive through service but not terribly fast or cozy. read more

Wow, such harsh Reviews!! When I got there on Saturday afternoon the Drive Through line of cars was extremely long (in my opinion anyway, I normally make my own coffee drinks at home!). So I parked and walked on in. What a nice place! I took a picture, and I hope it posted here. Every table was full with people chatting over coffees or scrolling on their laptops. I found out they have a Wine Menu in the evenings which include some light meals to pair with the wines... I need to try that! Anyway, I ordered a Caramel Frappuccino type drink for my son, and a Machiato something-or-other for myself, and both were good! Service was friendly, and the store was clean. I am not really sure what is happening at this location. They really just seem to not care about customers any more. I have been going here 3-6 times a week since they opened and over the past month i have had multiple bad experiences. 2 weeks ago i ordered a slice of bread and blueberry oatmeal. I waited 11 minutes for the slice of semi frozen precooked bakery item. My oatmeal i grabbed to go and when i got to work no blueberries in the bag . Today 12/31 i placed a mobile order at 6:38. I arrived at the store at 6:44 doors locked. 2 employees inside . Lights dim. i waited until 6:50 before leaving. Would it have been to much to open the door and explain what was going on instead of making people wait outside ? I was not the only customer wondering what was going on.Or better yet don't take my mobile order if you aren't open and can't fulfill it ! if i could give zero stars, you best believe i would. the service i have received this fine tuesday morning RUINED MY DAY. i go to the starbucks with a friend (my friend is driving) we went through the drive through. my friend ordered a tall frapp (no problem) i requested a strawberry refresher 3ex. scoops strawberry's and 3 ex. scoops of berries BLENDED. i had ordered this particular drink the day before at a separate location and they were DELIGHTED to fulfill my order. but this location? NO. she said, and i quote, "wE cAnT bLeNd ReFrEsHeRs!" i was very shocked at the attitude i received. appalled even. but i decided that i wouldn't get crazy so very nicely i said, "oh, okay then i will just have a venti pink drink please" so then we drive to the window and here is what happens next. worker: "your total is 10.29" me to my friend: "here's one gift card, if it isn't enough i have another also" friend: *gives card to worker" worker: "umm you still owe 4.29" friend: *hands get the other card* worker: *INTENSE EYEROLL AND SIGH* "YOU STILL OWE 29 CENTS!!!" me: "okay let me get that for you no problem" she was so irritated and did not even wait for me to hand her all of the change before saying "YOU STILL OWE ONE PENNY" at this point i was about to cry, they weren't even busy, there was only one car behind me. not only did i not get the drink i wanted, but now i am sitting at home writing a bad review which i wish i didn't even have to write. below is a photograph i just so happened to capture as i was waiting for my drinks. read more

I don't know if it's understaffing or way too many mobile orders (lots of people around me were picking up 4-5 drinks each) or a mix of both but something has to change. This Starbucks has a really nice drive thru line with a fancy ordering screen. I was taken back by how fancy it was! However, when I went to order my husband and myself Venti Iced Coffee with 7 pumps vanilla I was immediately told they were out of vanilla. This really threw me off so I changed my order to 7 pumps caramel instead. When I get to the window they give me one drink and tell me it will be a few minutes on the second. When I tasted the drink it was so bitter! They had only put in a little bit of caramel and not the 7 pumps I had asked for. When the lady returned to the window I asked her how much caramel was in the drink she was handing me. She told me she didn't know and for me to check the tag. I told her all the tag said was caramel and she seemed extremely confused so she said that she would add the caramel they had forgotten to put on my order. Long story short, the coffee is delicious but I think this is a new store trying to work out all of its kinks! Unless you are willing to explain (slowly I might add) then just visit a different Starbucks. read more

I have been here twice and I regrettably, wont be back . C "embroidered apron" gave her undivided attention to fighting with a customer over an upcharge for cream! ----Wait! Hold on... Let me recap: Customer mobile orders, arrived to pick up, request cream for coffee, indignantly told by barista there is a charge. --- Meanwhile: Full line of customers awaiting service, Line of customers waiting for drinks and the store is relatively dirty? ---Yes!! definitely the right time to pick a fight and shame a customer for "allegedly" scamming free cream! ---- This absurdity continued for way to long and this customer had the patience of a saint. The fire-starter, perpetuated, igniting the argument, (BTW she was incorrect) and the customer was "sssshhhushed and eye rolled" towards the crusty, empty carafe at the condiment bar. I abandoned my place in line, with a others and left coffee-less. C's mission of ensuring this "nicer then I would have been" customer would never request extra cream again was successful! Brava! ---end scene- -- Two Important caveats: If you have the Starbucks Mobile App it is beautiful, wonderful and educational. For giggles order any brewed coffee or espresso drink that would include the option to add cream. The "extra" cream option produces 0 charge! Starbucks in this area is a BIG deal! Jobs, benefits, opportunities and more market share. New markets always have challenges but treating people with respect and being nice is just part of is the cornerstone of the Starbucks experience. Maybe it was a terrible day, and customers can be completely unruly but, is never acceptable to antagonize a customer. read more
