I needed a Speedway to check out since I was in the south Holland area running some errands. The area has improved alot which is great. This Speedway is located right off the street with easy access to the shops next door too. Plenty of gas pumps. Bathrooms and interior should be updated at the least but they all feature all the essentials you can always find at your local Speedway. read more

What is the deal here. Went for fuel tonight at 10:45p and after pumping 5 minutes noticed I was only at the $2 mark, and others around me were experiencing the same delays with the pumps. I went inside to tell the attendant, but she didn't care at all and her response, "people are still pumping!" suggests to me that she's clueless when it comes to service, and it's impact on jobs in customer service environments. Consider this gas station 100% off limits - I'll assume run out of gas before coming to this location willingly. read more

This store is a hot mess, before I go to church I realize I need gas. Seems as though every Sunday they have yellow bags on every single pump. I don't know if it's to do inventory or what. You can't do that overnights? Ridiculous that most people that go to church will need gas either before leaving for church or what not! It is like this EVERY Sunday morning! I occasionally, out of convenience, stop at this speedway for coffee, doughnut, and smokes very early on weekends. Well as usual the grumpy, not so clean looking attendant Gail L. doesn't greet me even though i am the only customer in the store. She also for some unexplained reason seems to always hover and reach over me while I am preparing my coffee and of course she never says excuse me! If that is not annoying and disrespectful enough she happily greets all of the white customers that has come in after me. Lastly, as I am checking out she finally finds the forced energy to open her mouth and ask me do I have a rewards card. When I politely tell her no and that I am not interested in obtaining one she proceeds to scan a rewards card anyway, and hands it to me with my change and receipt. The most disturbing aspect of this whole negative customer service experience is that it happens while the store manager is present!
