I couldn't get over how cute this place is. There is an outdoor fire pit right up front, and I absolutely love the wraparound porch look. It gives off such a cozy and welcoming vibe. The outdoor patio area is perfect for relaxing, with tables, chairs, and even a corn hole game for a little fun. As a pescatarian, I was thrilled to find so many options on the menu that fit my diet. The cauliflower tacos and sweet potato fries were amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient in helping me decide what to order. Inside, there is a charming little upstairs area that I am actually thinking about renting out for a Book Club meeting. The space offers free Wi-Fi and plenty of comfortable seating, whether you prefer lounging on a couch, sitting at a table, or relaxing at a barstool. I also appreciated that there is a bathroom on both floors, which is very convenient. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the stairs to the second level might be a bit challenging for anyone who struggles with stairs. Such a cute place and perfect for a nice quiet time. The inside is so clean and neat. It's a renovated house turned into a quaint space. There's seating upstairs and outside seating as well. Customer service is great. I came to pick up some coffee beans for a family member. They love the Ethiopian coffee beans and the Guatemala coffee beans from here. I even saw they have ice cream! I almost got a scoop but I resisted. I love the fact that one must be at least 18 years old to enter unless with an adult. It's easier to retain peace sometimes in a kid free zone. read more

It's a great place to work from, take a moment to catch up on a chapter in a book or to enjoy the weather in the outside seating area. I visited on a Friday afternoon to get a little work done and have lunch. I love coffee shops and thought this place was incredibly adorable. From the curbside appeal, to the fire pit, outdoor seating, and especially the upstairs which felt like sitting in someone's home, I completely love the vibe of this place. I ordered a pistachio latte and it was very good. I also ordered a salad that left much to be desired. However, my sister had the cauliflower tacos that she was very happy with so when I return, I will definitely order something else. We chose to sit upstairs and it was nice that the servers brought our order upstairs and we didn't have to wait downstairs for our order or go back down to get it. The staff were very nice and I love the noise level. I often find that coffee shops can get a little loud, but the noise level was perfect for getting some work done. Came in for a scoop of vanilla and coffee. Pleasant greeting, service lovely, ice cream....Oh. One scoop has got to be about 12 liquid ounces. Very large scoop of creamy delicious and not overly sweet, so if you put toppings on it you won't go into a diabetic coma. I put some in my coffee. Lots of windows. There is a park right outside to the north, and a fire pit with benches out front to the south. Lots of outdoor tables and chairs for nice weather. There is an access ramp along the south side of the building. Stairs front and back. So bringing my husband would be possible. read more

I've been here twice now and love it! The vibes are great for studying or pit stop. If you love fire pits, vintage stores and libraries you will love the aesthetic. I brought my cousin here for lunch and we tried their grilled cheese which came with chips and a small salad and the baristas even brought us our food upstairs. Phenomenal service for what I thought was a regular coffee shop. There's plenty of seating. I've had their Carmel apple chai and he had ordered their Carmel latte which were perfect as winter comes to an end. I shall return for breakfast and an oatmilk lavender latte! read more

This place is not pet-friendly indoors. They did offer a pup cup, though. The light-skinned worker with brownish braids was extremely unprofessional. She laughed the entire time I was ordering and forgot the ice cream. When I confronted her about it, she was giggling about it. The other employees are fine, a bit of attitude but not bad. The only good thing about the experience was the food. I wouldn't recommend this place. I didn't come here for a circus. read more

ok so I snuck in here at the request of my amazing gym buddy Rose--i have not even told her yet! Her daughter the sweetest precious Diamond is here and let me tell you it is absolutely the best. the recommendations from staff are on point-once you tell them what your preference is they have it from there and I am BIG on customer service--They won me over. The atmosphere is relaxed and just cool-you feel like hollering "Honey I am Home" when you walk through the door. I will be back and this time I will let Rose know I am going. Imagine magnolia farms plopping a cute ice cream shop in the middle of south Holland and you would be close to envisioning what Soho Sweets looks and feels like. I wanted to try this place for a while so I brought my two tween nieces in to try some ice cream today. They loved it! Clean, modern, and open. Seating inside and outside and on the porch. Cute garden area, hackey sack game area, fire pit seating and a cute IG worthy ivy wall. The ice cream helpings are really large! You get what you pay for. The ice cream was really good! We only got scoops but they offer shakes and sundaes. I saw sandwiches and coffee on the menu as well. Highly recommend! Missing a star because I felt the customer service was lacking. I wasn't greeted, I wasn't told that my order would be coming right up or anything. The staff was not wearing masks. Three guys hovered over our orders. Good coffee from a Chicago roaster. The drinks are pretty basic and not too sweet, but they're good that way. And bonus...they do affogatos. The food is from Timbrook Kitchens & signage says they'll be there through August. There are lots of food choices. We opted for cauliflower tacos & tater tots. (Vegetarian but not vegan) The food is okay. I would eat here again. But it's not "fantastic, text all your friends they can't miss this place" good. The pastries are good also. Honestly, I'd probably stick to coffee and a pastry next time. The place is super cute and the vibe is fun and friendly. There's great seating outside and a fire pit and bags area. The inside seating has tables or a bar. There is an upstairs which says 18+, but we didn't venture upstairs. It's really kind of a hidden gem. As many times as I've looked up coffee places in the area this has never come up. It opened in 2021, but doesn't look like they're getting much online traffic. Soho Sweets opened during the pandemic and has been flourishing since. I love to stop in here for a nice cup of chai latte and a quiet corner to enjoy it. They have a second floor where there are many nooks to hide yourself in. When I slide through, there seems to always be a burning bonfire with seating on their front lawn during the cool weather and summer nights--cute! Staff here are friendly and patient. read more
