"You can't sit in here unless you buy something! Are you going to order?" Says the Barista as I frantically try to connect to my meeting that wasn't connecting. I was here a total of 7 minutes by the way. Yes, I walked in didn't order anything as I was setting up for my meeting but instead I would feel that it would be polite to say something like "Hello can I take your order" or "I see you're settled, I can take your order when you're ready" I would have gladly preferred that instead. You Starting off a conversation without a hello, how are you? Can I be any of assistance? Is just terrible customer service to me! I felt offended and rushed to hurry my order before being potentially kicked out of an empty Starbucks! Due to so much stuff happening with this establishment I see why so many people boycotted Starbucks as a whole! I haven't been to this location in two years and loved how it's been renovated and it was lovely to see, however, did the staff have their morning coffee this morning because I ordered a Matcha and I still said please and thank you after being hurried to order! Do I understand I should pay before using the free wifi but where is the sign saying that must do so! My French Teacher is practicing Ramadan and I didn't want to drink in her face while she was fasting on our Zoom Call but was certainly going to order refreshments for my mom and I after the meeting. The entitlement in here and the language the baristas are discussing about each person that orders in the drive thru is unfortunate "hearing right now as I type this is "that's dumb, that's f***ing terrible !" Wow it's Sunday! I have to leave and will be ordering the rest of my breakfast at another location for my mother. Very disappointing because I really used to love this location but the staff has changed from the friendly faces from two years ago. The date today is March 2nd, 2025 I was here between the hours of 7:00-8:28A for reference of the "friendly" staff! *update I went to Oak Forest Starbucks, Staff greeted me with a "Hello, Good morning how may I help you!" WOW it's not that hard! I ordered my mom a Grande Carmel Macchiato with Almond Milk and she loved it!

Not the cleanest Starbucks I've ever been .. it was pouring down and had met a colleague briefly. Used the restroom before heading out was not clean at all.

Gave this place multiple chances and I figured they just don't like me. On multiple occasions I've ordered a large coffee to be given a medium in a large cup. Not ok, I never asked for whip cream either and I wish they'd listen when I ordered I'm usually there around 6:30 am so there's little to no cars in line.

White tea refill no water. Only 2/3rd full.

Coffee is the best thing to get. It's about $6 for a specialty. Best of these is the Brown Shaken Espresso. This is choice of milk along with cocoa powder, dark chocolate, and double espresso which is kickass. A thing to really get one going. It's about $9 for a salad. They have a few of these. I got the Arugula Pecan Salad. This also has balsamic glaze, cranberries, garlic pickle, lodolemono, onion crisps, pecans, and tomatoes. It was enough. She got the Avocado Toast. Basic looking. There's also paninis. Chill place to get breakfast or lunch. It's located on Cicero at 157th. This is across from the Metra station.

The new shop only offered two very expensive sandwiches. Even though they were large, I really miss the smaller, well‑made sandwiches Soho used to have. The ambience has changed too. It no longer has that comfortable, relaxing feel that made Soho Sweets such a pleasant spot for South Holland. Instead, it feels like we traded a cozy neighborhood favorite for a very basic ice cream shop. SoHo Sweets had wonderful ice cream and great sandwiches. This new place was, unfortunately, a letdown.

The outdoor patio area is perfect for relaxing, with tables, chairs, and even a corn hole game for a little fun. As a pescatarian, I was thrilled to find so many options on the menu that fit my diet. The cauliflower tacos and sweet potato fries were amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient in helping me decide what to order. Inside, there is a charming little upstairs area that I am actually thinking about renting out for a Book Club meeting. The space offers free Wi-Fi and plenty of comfortable seating, whether you prefer lounging on a couch, sitting at a table, or relaxing at a barstool. I also appreciated that there is a bathroom on both floors, which is very convenient. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the stairs to the second level might be a bit challenging for anyone who struggles with stairs. Overall, SoHo Sweets has such a warm and homey atmosphere, great food, and friendly service. It is definitely a place I will be coming back to.
