This gas station and convenient store is so convenient. It is on Disney property on the way out of the Magic Kingdom. In addition to gas, Speedway offers the typical convenience store items, sandwiches and pizza. The prices are much cheaper than Disney. If we are hungry but don't want to pay Disney prices, we will stop at Speedway on the way out. I fed two people on $10. Order food at the kiosk screens, pay, then pick up the order. Heads up: they do not start making your order until after payment is received. We split a 12 inch roast beef sandwich. It was nothing to rave about but was very edible. We added an order of Tatar tots for $0.99. The Tatar tots failed to get that perfect crunchy coating and were a bit mushy. However, the order was huge for a measly $0.99. read more

The gas pumps are extremely hard to pick the correct gas grade, non of the pumps work and they have two hoses for gas and one additional one for diesel . so I can never get the cheapest gas. i do not recommend buying gas here unless you are out and need gas right away. read more

I was coasting in to Orlando on fumes, ok I'm exaggerating, but I only had 90 miles until empty. I checked into my hotel on property and forgot about the fuel issue until the next day! I got up the next morning to head to one of the Disney parks and I conveniently spotted this gas station. Yay! I was just so excited to see a place to fill up on property since I don't know this area too well. There is also a car care center next door to the Speedway. I was surprised by the gas prices, they were reasonable! I think I paid $2.49 per gallon, which is about the same as my current residence in Fort Lauderdale. This place is so awful. It used to be a nice Hess but now it's a Speedway and it has completely gown downhill. The only thing this place has going for it is its convenient location. It's right on Disney property and right on the main road out of the Magic Kingdom, making it the ideal location for a stop after a day at one of the Disney theme parks. We were super thirsty after leaving the Magic Kingdom and pulled in to grab something to drink. I was excited to see that they had brewed iced tea. Good thing I tried it first because it was the most bitter, gross tea ever. It had to have been at least a day old if not older. So gross. I decided to try the fountain Coke machines since I wanted a drink with a lot of ice (they have two of those customize your own soda machines). It wasn't much better. I made a cherry Coke Zero and it tasted a bit musty and moldy. Ditto for both machines. If you want a tea or soda, stick to the factory sealed bottles. To make it worse, the employee working the register wasn't friendly at all. He literally did not look up at us once during our entire transaction! What? Surprisingly, the prices aren't jacked up that much. The store even runs specials that change often, mostly on coffee and food items. There's a Speedway rewards card that's touted on in-store signage, and it seems with sign-up you can earn rewards towards free coffee and other discounts. Too bad Mr. disgruntled employee couldn't be bothered to tell us about how to sign up and get one. It's also very difficult to find your way out of the parking lot. We aren't ditzy drivers, but even we ended up driving down an area marked for "WDW Buses Only." Oops. We finally did make it back out onto the road. I can't imagine how long it would take a distracted dad in a minivan full of kids to get out of the place. read more

Because of where this particular Hess in located on Disney property, it's mainly used by Disney Cast Members as they are heading to or leaving work. I always used this particular Hess often because when hubby was at work, I'd park at the Grand Floridian to head to the Parks and I'd pass this Hess when I was leaving. Very convenient. Considering it's on Disney property, the gas here is actually quite low. All things considered that is because gas is astronomical everywhere nowadays. But I could get gas here just as cheap as I could (or often cheaper) anywhere off Disney property. This Hess has a huge parking lot with a lot of pumps. I never had to wait for one. The parking lot isn't as busy because not as many tourists hit this Hess like the do at the one across the street from Downtown Disney. Again, don't be surprised if you see Cast Members in the Disney Costumes pumping gas or grabbing items from within the store. Store is clean and employees are friendly, quick, and efficient. I was in speedway gas station on 10/13/2022 at 930 am I ordered food. While I stood there waiting on my food I observed the following issues I watched a worker, grab raw bacon with their bare hands, place it on a tray and then place it in the oven. Next they went to the fridge and brought out another item and proceeded to put their hands it that container. They then went to the back room and came back The food worker that was making my sandwich, was wearing dirty gloves, stoped making my sandwich, to bag another order and press buttons, all while wearing the same gloves before going back to making my sandwich with the same gloves. You would think that since this gas station is on Disney property, the prices would be crazy. Actually, the prices are typical gas station prices, with gas prices that are competitive with the area. There are gas stations outside Disney property that actually do have high prices like 2nd City Chevron right outside Disney Springs. Which by the way has a 1 star yelp rating for price gouging the gas- do not go! I think of this Speedway as a hidden gem. You are thinking a hidden gem is a gas station? And yes, it is. There are multiple stalls in the bathroom, compared to the one stalls at the other Speedways on property. A convenient stop after driving home from Magic Kingdom. The water fountain is quite helpful as well to fill up those bottles on the scorching summer days. There is a mini food court with gas station quality food but with tables to sit. The location of this station is convenient if you need gas or a snack on your way out of the Magic Kingdom. I would often stop here as I exited the Magic Kingdom to get a large fountain drink after spending a hot day in the park. Unfortunately, they recently remodeled this location and for me anyway, it was a negative change. They now have ipads where you can order sandwiches and such (everyone wants to be like Wawa), but they took away the Coca Cola freestyle machines. This means that you can't have a fountain Diet Dr. Pepper like my husband likes, but you'll instead have to get a bottle, which doesn't taste the same. And for me, I get nothing because they don't make my minute maid light drinks in the bottle (except for the light lemonade, though that isn't the one I get and they don't have that here anyway). Additionally, the store is not very clean. The restrooms are not very clean and the pumps and parking spaces are often crowded. The redeeming quality is that the gas prices are reasonable considering the location. read more

They also have free air for your tires, which I have used on many occasions! It can be surprisingly difficult to find free air around town! The convenience store portion features all your typical offerings as well as Dunkin Donuts self-serve coffee and donuts and a snack bar area. Originally, I was irritated when this location shut down for refurbishment, as I frequent the location quite a bit because it's close to work for me. However, I must say that it was worth the wait! The redesign that they've done is fabulous! I love the new touch-screen ordering that they've got inside the gas station. They've caught up with Wawa on this now, and it works wonderfully. You can customize your order easily and it's processed fairly quickly. They also have a milkshake machine, as they did before, and other neat options. The reason that I didn't give a full five stars is because of the food. It is slightly hit and miss. I ordered a burger there, and the burger was pretty good given that it came from a gas station. I've had better, but the quality was good enough for a gas station in my view. Where they did fall short was on the fries. The fries I got were a mix of good fries and fries that were very thin and crunchy. It was a mixed bag of good and bad fries, basically. So that fell short. Also, I ordered cheese fries and they had very little cheese, which was disappointing. Don't expect much when you order fries. The one thing that they do well is their sub sandwiches. They're delicious, and they give you a bevy of options to customize your sub. So if you're going to order something from their cafe, I highly recommend their subs. As far as service goes, the staff is friendly and attentive. You get good service here, so no complaints there. Overall, it's s clean and well-organized gas station. The renovation is fantastic. They make it easy to order food, as you can just go up to the touch screen and place the order without talking to anyone. I recommend the gas station and their cafe as well. We bumped into this speedway for getting gas as it's extremely close to Disney Magic Kingdom. Seeing the prices of the breakfast items we were tempted to try and boy were we amazed at the quantity, pretty decent taste and just fantastic prices fresh hot food selections. They had great breakfast egg/cheese sandwiches, good Subs and Pizza all at the prices below Dunkins, Pizza Hut etc. Good selection of convenience store items. Some of the people had good Dunkin (they have donuts, coffee and hot chocolate) beverages and Donuts. It's so well placed location wise that you save a good amount of money on food as you head out to Disney or even come back from it in the evening. Definitely a must check-out if you are in a hurry and don't want to break the bank! I am surprised at some of the one or two star reviews even though they are saying some rave things about the fundamental things that this place has to offer. read more

I always go here in my break (I work for Disney) and the "cafe"/hot food is good and the staff at that area is great. The cashiers are AWFUL. The rudest I've ever met. Rip the card out of your hand, don't say anything. That sorta thing. Yeah yeah, that don't have the custom coke machines or whatever but they have a good selection of everything else. Located right in Disney Parks, this Hess is a good place to stop before driving home. The gas prices always seem lower than surrounding gas stations outside of the parks. Be warned though, it can become crowded during afternoon and night hours. read more

This speedway has a Spanish manager and only seems to want to hire Spanish workers. all unfriendly. very unfriendly. the food is good and fast much busier than the hess station was but they run out of food all the time. mostly pizza, lettuce and fries.
