This gas station was much needed for this area if only just to give the ups logistic workers and other nearby workers a place to grab a quick lunch. The next closest gas station is probably a good mile away and is located in an always congested area. RaceTrac is a gas station that I've been to in my travels but I believe this is the first one in Louisville to my knowledge. The inside was really well organized and stocked and the station has plenty of pumps. Overall a good gas station in a spot that I'm sure they will do really well at.

A BIG problem with the Speedways in Louisville I've seen thusfar (including this one) is that they have the most inconvenient, bizarre layouts, both when it comes to parking spaces and also inside the actual buildings. Why are the layouts made to where even when there's only one or two people there it still feels cramped? It is hard to even tell what is or isn't a parking spot here. I parked somewhere I thought was a parking lot, but I wasn't even sure. This particular trip I didn't need gas, just an energy drink and some other convenience store type items so didn't have to battle for one of the few spots near the gas pumps. I still am not sure if where I parked was a parking spot, but if I just need to jump in and out, I guess I'll just park my car randomly on the asphalt, because I guess that's what people do here. The inside is fully stocked and for a gas station, their prices are really good (both on snacks and gasoline, actually), but the set-up is just strange to me. Depending on where you are in the store, you can't tell which side the workers on the cash register are at, so you may walk to the wrong side, you may not. I guess that can be an amusing game if you're really bored: which side will ring me up? The worker that was there when I went was super friendly and I LOVE the Speedy Rewards system. I hate giving Speedways lower than 4 or 5 stars, but this one is just too dumpy and the layout is bizarre. If they just made their parking spots more clear I'd even add a star likely, because it's really the layout that makes this particular Speedway a hassle more than anything else. I feel like either my car (or myself) is going to get hit by someone one day.

Picked a place as near to the airport as I could and ended up here. When I pulled up, I should have pulled right back out. The lot is not all that great, on a corner, near the airport, with a road that never seems to have a quiet moment. I pulled up and got out of the vehicle to start the process of filling up. The first pump I pulled up to would just not work for the pay at the pump option. I did not want to go inside and I did not know exactly how much fuel this would take. After several frustrating moments, I pulled the vehicle around to the other side of the pump and had better luck. Pay at the pump worked, for the most part. When it came time to print the receipt, it did not work. Remember, I chose pay at the pump so I didn't have to go inside and talk to anyone. Also, I was on a time crunch to get to the airport and catch a flight. If I didn't need the receipt for work, I would have skipped this altogether. Fix the pumps here please.

All letters and numbers were not working. I changed pumps and got to input my info for a supposed .40 discount and it only gave me .25 discount. I am not using Circle K anymore if they are going to lie to me and cause this much trouble to get almost half of what the discount is suppose to be.

For a while now, this Thorntons has stuck out to me as one of my favorite gas stations to go to…read more It's a lot bigger than others, and has a nice, clean inside. Sadly I don't live very close to this place anymore, but I make a pit stop whenever I drive by and need gas. The employees are usually pretty friendly; you get your occasional bad apple here and there but nothing to fuss about. Even though I don't really get food here, I do like how they have a lot of options, like donuts, hot dogs, pizza, etc. They also have a large coffee area, soda fountain, and slushie machines with tons of flavors. I definitely prefer Thornton's over most gas stations!
