This isn't exactly a review since I've already shared my thoughts before, but The Well has recently undergone some beautiful renovations! The space now feels refreshed with a modern touch, more open, airy, and accented by clean, sleek lines. The menu is now easier to read with clear options, & there's an even wider selection of baked goods to choose from! Service was great as usual!

My wife and I went to Well Coffee. And it is hands down one of the best coffee spots in Louisville. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a perfect mix of modern and warm. The staff is incredibly friendly and passionate about what they do--you can really tell they care about the quality of their drinks and the customer experience. My wife had the pour-over and it was exceptional. The beans are clearly top quality, and everything is crafted with intention. Whether you're looking to get some work done, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy a peaceful cup, Well Coffee delivers every time. Highly recommend

A local coffee shop in the Louisville area with a special flavor. The cozy seating area is perfect for both catching up with friends or settling in with a good book. I also loved the thoughtful decor and the community-focused vibe, which made me feel right at home.

Indoor and outdoor seating Located directly across from park/ amphitheater. Great area with sidewalks Intimate setting good for quick meetings, dates or chit chat. I did not use the restroom but they were available. They have a drive thru. Private parking lot. The shake was delicious, I recommend

After a early morning walk in Cherokee Park I found this little gem directly across the street. I enjoyed my large black coffee

A real gem of a coffeehouse with bright and cozy surroundings that I stumbled onto after hiking the Iroquois Park loop for the first time. Staff were alert and amenable to friendly chat as they made my specialty coffee drink. I ordered a latte that was perfectly executed.

SHAME ON YOU! A…read moreblind man was told to leave his guide dog outside. Twelve years ago, my dear friend began breeding Goldendoodles: to produce dogs capable of changing lives and they did (Many Many Lives) One of those puppies is Ozzy. Ozzy isn't "just a dog." He is a highly trained guide dog by Custom Canines Service Dog Academy who gives his person, Kevin Kraly, the independence that many of us take for granted every single day. He is Kevin's eyes. His partner. His freedom. Recently, Kevin and Ozzy attempted to enter THIS restaurant together. Instead of being welcomed, they were turned away. They were asked for identification for Ozzy. They were told they could only dine outside only there was no outside dining . They were even told Kevin could come inside if he tied Ozzy up outside and left him there. Imagine being told to leave your eyes at the door. Let.that.sink.in. A blind man was told to leave his guide dog outside. Even after the law regarding service animals was shown and explained, entry was still denied. This isn't simply poor customer service. This is a reminder that many people with disabilities still face barriers that should not exist in 2026. The Americans with Disabilities Act protects the right of service dog teams to access businesses open to the public. These protections exist because guide dogs are not pets--they are essential medical assistance animals that allow their handlers to navigate the world safely and independently. No one should have to fight for basic access because they are blind. No one should have to defend the legitimacy of their guide dog. And no one should ever be told to leave their eyes outside.

It was busy at lunchtime on a Friday. The cafe is so cute! Charmingly decorated. We ordered at the counter, took a table number and found our seats. One note about that: being a large person, the seats made me a little nervous. Next time i would opt for booth seating which looked a bit more substantial. Our entrees were brought out before our appetizers, but they looked so good I didn't even care. Couldn't wait to dig in. I had Pho Ga chicken noodle soup. It was served nice and hot with a bowl of raw herbs and add ins. Sprouts, fresh jalapeño slices, a lemon wedge etc. it was so delicious with complex flavors. I finished every drop. Appetizer was pork on a stick. Tender inside, crisp and sweet outside. Two skewers was plenty for us. My daughter had the lemon grass chicken with a fried egg. It looked great, she said it was very good. Our food was appealingly presented, and service was good. We each drank water and our bill was over $36. Not cheap for lunch but not outrageous and quality and portion sizes justified the cost. We will definitely return to try more menu items.
