Receipt printer was broken and the squeegee had no water. But it was the cheapest gas between the restaurant where I had dinner and the hotel. So we'll go with two stars "Could've been better." Racism is very present at this Waltham location, I was told there was no public restroom by the manager and store employee of this store where they clearly had two working restrooms that were NOT out of order. The female manager and the female store both white where very rude, hostile and disrespectful. If I was not a black man how would you have treated me. I would advise anyone who have been the subject of racism by these two females to report them to the U.S Justice Department's Civil Rights Division. I would high advise people boycott this particular speedy way In Waltham Massachusetts. Racism is never ever acceptable. I went into the store to get a tonic and a hot dog at lunch hour. There were no covers for the drinks, and none of the Dr. Pepper, Coca Cola, or other flavors were working. No hot dogs either. Blank soda came out of the dispenser, and I tried to put cherry flavor in the soda. That didn't work either. Lime worked but I didn't like the flavor. When I went to the cash register and put the soda on the counter, I said none of the tonic flavors worked. I couldn't get the Dr. Pepper. I said I shouldn't pay for it, because nothing worked really. The lady said 'What are you going to steal it?' Obviously, I didn't want the drink and put it on the counter in front of her to say the soda machine doesn't work, and should be fixed. I got gas here today and all of a sudden, a few hours later, my emissions light is on. Bad gas?

I went to speedway on 66 Prospect street, Waltham, Ma. about a month ago. I walk in, there are 3 employees at the time. Now I'm 55, small business owner small moving company I've never had a problem with a gas station attendant before or a convenience store clerk ever... ever. I went in this place and this woman( speedway employee) was yelling across the store, she said that she said "I can't see how anybody could vote for Trump, he's a disgrace". Well, I'm voting for Trump, and I guess that must mean I'm a disgrace too. I left the store, went back out to my truck to grab my maga hat and walked back into her and she got right in my face I mean nose to nose with me. like she wanted to start a fight she had crappy prison tattoos about six or eight of them, anyway she got right in my face and asked me if I if I was one of those Trump lovers after I said you shouldn't insult your customers" and she told me she wasn't talking to me, to mind my own business" said no I was one of those Biden haters, racist traitor Biden haters. Words were exchanged and she told me never to come back. O.K. moving trucks use a lot of gas, Massachusetts has the highest unemployment rate in the country I'm sure they could do better than this person very easily read more

I pulled in for a quick gas change. Swiped my card, selected my fuel grade, saw the message "Pump authorizing," and waited and waited and waited Turns out the only employee there was in the bathroom and had locked the building with a "closed for five minutes sign." The machine would not let me cancel my order so if I had driven away somebody else could have pumped gas on my dollar when the system came online. As I waited five or six other cars pulled in and joined me in the same situation. When the employee finally came out fifteen minutes later he saw everybody and indignantly stuck his head out of the store to should, "Didn't you see the sign people?! Jesus." I have not been that disrespected in some time. I can't see myself ever coming back here. read more

An 8-pump gas station with a small convienent store. Nothing spectacular. There has been times where half the pumps do not work. The store is always well maintained and clean. The air machine is free, as with all Hess stations I've been to, but the cord is cut/broken 80% of the time here. Good prices, but frequently broken pumps and air station cost it some points. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. The store itself isn't so bad, it's relatively clean and everything is neatly stocked...but avoid going inside at all costs. This store is constantly closing up to 45 minutes earlier than it's supposed to, and almost every single staff member is completely and utterly rude. There is 0 customer service, and I have been forced out of the store mid transaction at the ATM now more than once being told that the "store wad closing for 20 minutes" (keep in mind, this was mid-day around 12:30 on a Saturday), so the punk thats on the clock can go smoke pot in his car?! Its totally ridiculous. Super disappointed. I have also tried to bring this to managements attention and management sucks just as much as the employees do. read more
