Not a best place to get a gas... employees are nice but this one guy is talking way too much and rude sometimes.

I lived in the Attain at Quarterpath apartments right behind this 7/11 for a semester while a…read morestudent at W&M. It was about two and a half years ago now I received the best service of my life at this 7/11, buckle up, this story is emotional. The energy was always lovely in this 7/11. It was my go to for gas, drinks, ibuprofen -- the essentials. But one day set this location and its customers and workers apart. I was having a terrible day. I ran home to quickly eat something before going back to campus for my next class when I remembered I had been driving on empty for nearly a week. The time had come, and my car started to show the early signs she was about to break down. I prayed I could make it to 7/11 before... and I got so close, but she broke down about 100 feet from the entrance of the gas station. I figured my only shot was seeing if they had a portable gas tank I could borrow or buy to fill up my car bit by bit, at least enough to get to the pump. I went in panicking to the front to ask and was quickly met with a kind and enthusiastic good samaritan working the register who, without hesitation, told me we'd get my car to the pump. He immediately recruited a customer to come help in the feat, and by the time we had walked back to my car and began to push, a third onlooker was running up to aid as well. These three strangers gave 15-20minutes of full strength to push my car all the way to the pump. We were all so proud when we did it. After the success, I told the worker I never write reviews, but I would be for this place. After putting it off for days, weeks, months, and then years I was reflecting on it today and realized how much that meant to me and how I always regretted never writing the review I had promised. So here it is. Im not sure if I caught the name of the employee, if I did it has been pruned from my mind, but both him and the environment at this 7/11 made an impact on my life, brining strangers together for no personal gains beyond helping a person in need, I hope I always remember it. I hope the individual who rallied others and executed this act of kindness, I hope you're well and I hope 7/11 treated you (is treating you) as well as it did me.

So much to love about this new discovery besides the fact that it's NOT a Starbucks lol and for those that know me, you know I love and love to support and discover tucked away indie coffee places (see my reviews!). This place is also a roastery and sells their own bean blends. I don't know the history behind the shop and name but was told it is chemistry themed and owned by W&M alum - yassssss! Service is SUPER friendly and excellent so that's a bonus! I lovvvvvvve that the latte menu is chock full of super creative seasonal flavors - so many to choose from!! I stopped by twice while in town and staying just down the street. Had a hot Rose Macaron latte and the next day had the Lemon Bar. Both were DELICIOUS. NOT OVERLY SWEET BUT WITH SUBTLE FLAVORS AND BOLD ESPRESSO TASTE. NOTTTTTT WIMPY WEAK. Both days I had the OG Bacon Egg Cheese sando on an ET bagel that was a decent accompaniment to my seasonal lattes which were clearly the stars of the show. I was there during the week - once mid afternoon, the other day late morning and it was not crowded at all both days. The seating area is HUGE. 2 separate adjacent rooms - walk through the front ordering area and you'll find a large, super cozy and inviting "living room" type space with comfy couches, armchairs, dining tables with chairs and even cubes for studying. Dark and moody vibes. SUPER COZY, RELAXING AND KEPT VERY CLEAN AND TIDY. The other seating area has a bunch of tables and chairs, lots of windows, brighter and more conducive for gathering. I took and posted a bunch of pics and some vids so check them out. So glad to have discovered this coffee spot and gem! Will definitely be back when I visit Williamsburg again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

So that's when I found this really good latte flight. I highly recommend it! You get it hot or cold. They have food. A cool looking fish tank. And honestly, a lot of good looking lattes and drip coffees. Definitely a nice place to hang out. You can sit outside or inside. Service was pretty quick and the staff was really friendly. If I live closer, I would come here way more often!
