Took our Civic HB for an exhaust, I brought in my own muffler and tips. I asked for catback 2.25in into dual exhaust. Charged me $350. They finished it and I was on my way. A week later I did an oil change on our Civic, so out of curiosity, I checked how the work looked... They only did the muffler! And worse part is that they didn't even bother to use a reducer or anything to go from the stock 2in to the 2.25 inlet on the damn muffler!! Instead, they just welded it just like that. Looked absolutely horrible, like it was going to fall off at any moment. I took it back and they claimed it was miscommunication. Yeah, sure. Here I changed my mind as we last min decided to do more with the car, so told them to go 2.5in from a certain point and properly reduce to 2.25in. Maybe I'll deal with a new muffler further down the line to accommodate more performance mods. Anyway, they finish, I go home. Fast forward 2.5 months or so, and the welds and hanger they installed are rusting out! The fuck?! Unfortunately my back is hurt so I can't get underneath the car to see if the 2.5in pipe is there, and if they reduced it correctly. I would not be surprised if it's rusted out there, too. Time to find a new shop... Never again with these guys. If you folks out there use them, good luck and make sure they show you their work before bringing the car down. To the shop, what the hell?! Did I piss you off or something to give me such shit service/product?? You lost a customer for sure. read more

I wanted to see all the hype all about this Speedy shop, all I saw was an empty shop with employees cars out front. I wanted to give my self an opportunity to go and give you guys a review from my point of you and I would give this zero stars. I was visiting, picking up some feed for my animals at the Close Feed and I walked over and there was this big 300 pound obese type two diabetic dude. He said what's up I said I'm looking to get one muffler replaced for my stock muffler there's no needing to cut pipe just to weld muffler and he blatantly told deal for $180. I will have to go to Oakland on international 104th at Shorty shop where all the Donk cars are and the LS and Ford cars. He quote me for two mufflers welded with no pipe added for $50 flat for welds . If anybody's looking to get their manifolds heads, ported and polished steam cleaned tank cleaned. Also, installed new springs guide or to replace valve damage.. hit up Mike Vega at 510-978-9994. If you need help with your upgrades he will help you. Wow wtf, I took my car to this guys shop a couple weeks ago to get 6 rods welded to my mufflers and after looking under the car from hearing the exhaust squeaking a hell of a lot, lo and behold I see the shittest welding job EVER! Not only are these rods welded in the wrong place, he put a small pinkie sized dab of weld on each rod... this is VERY UNSAFE. My muffler was hanging lower on one side and squeaking. Dude I wanted this job done correctly, not just stick the rod anywhere you F'N please. This guy should be fired, for who taught this guy how to weld is beyond me! Some immigrant who can't even speak English all the way. I want my money fully back ASAP! This is a rip off but Now I got to take my mufflers to a professional shop so they can cut all the rods off, make it look good again and redo weld them right pl. My mufflers look like garbage now... I would never recommend this shop to anyone ever! He made it seem like I got a deal on a junk 5$ a rod welding job. Not only that he threw 2 of my brand new rods in the trash, I paid money for the those. So If he don't give me my money back I'm going to do a charge back. I'm not paying for this job. And I'm NOT going back just so he can screw up my mufflers even more. UPDATE 9/2/2020 Holy crap! I'm in disbelief!!! I called it all along that this welding job would fail....and sure enough it has!! Check out how the welded rod snapped completely off, while the others are rusted and I was driving with a muffler hanging on so low it was about to fall off behind me into on coming traffic or scrap out the bottom.... I was scared as hell to see what I found underneath, holding on by A couple Centimeters. Not only that I find out this man also welded my clamps on with a small pinkie sized weld as well for no reason, those were NOT EVEN supposed to be welded at all!!! WOW, Do Not shop here what so ever for any cheap xhust job!! This guy is a joke and should be fired immediately!! Check out The pictures for those that don't believe me. I was actually excited to spend money at your shop but you guys let me down. Called at least 8x and left messages. You guys kept leading me on with no for sure appointment. And broke it twice when I had the appointments, but I still had to call to find out. There goes your good review on yelp. Depends on your luck, you can have your car in the moment you get there or wait a little over an hour. I understand that sometimes there are cars in the shop before mines and that it'll take time to get them out before my car is in. Anyways, fair pricing and pretty good welds. Came here to cut my catback so it would fit correctly and also had them weld in O2 bungs on my ss downpipe. Will comeback for more exhaust work. read more

The work: In need of a replacement Catalytic Converter for 1997 Nissan Hardbody Reason: Some fools came and cut off my old Cat because of the precious metal they can sell back to a Metal Recovery Place sometime in the past few days during the day. You can tell something is wrong with your exhaust system when you start the car and it sounds like you are at a Motor Speedway. The owner Alex had me come in so he could take a peek at the work and know which Catalytic to purchase. I prepaid $50 and he ordered the Cat to come the next day. Next day: I went back and Alex and one of the mechanics were working on another car. We got the paperwork done and he let me know that it would be about an hour. There is a place to eat just outside the shop area (Tacos Urupan sp?) that you could walk to, grab a bite to eat and come back. I grabbed food and came back so I could a curious observer and look to see what they were doing. There are 3 seats you could sit on at the entrance to the office and wait. It gets loud there though. Enclosed area, saws cutting into metal -- I think you get the gist. About 1 hour later -- car started and the Motor Speedway was now gone replaced with a nice humm of the engine. Service: easy, very up front about costs and explanations Technicians: they will talk with you if you talk with them. They earned my trust today. read more

Been to this place a few times with my old '92 Toyota Paseo, and the manager and his assistant were super nice each time. When my muffler was bent from someone hitting my car when it was parked they charged me like $30 to replace with a dual tip exhaust. I came here again when my exhaust manafold was loose they welded it together for like $20 bucks. It took them about 15 mins to fix and I was out of there. I also recommended someone to take their car here for their muffler since it wasn't attached right and they charged him $10 just to secure it. Its a bit small of a place and the parking is kinda hard since there are other shops there too. But the people are really nice. read more

My 2015 mustang's exhaust hangers were loose and non effective so i came by to see if they can figure something out on how to fix it. They installed their own hangers that they recommended and now everything sits still, doesnt move, and is perfectly aligned at a great price. the workers are also nice, friendly, and very knowledgable. 5 stars. read more

I'm demanding when it comes to work on my car. Speedy took the time to talk with me about the project and then installed the exhaust system as I required using the parts provided. As a bonus, they noticed the tailpipes were a few inches short and recommended a great solution. The work was done while I waited. There is a nice Sugi's coffee behind the shop with free internet and pretty good coffee. About 2 hours later my car was driven off the rack ready to take home. The price was fair too. Called 3 days in a row and he could never get me an answer. If your too busy then just say you cannot take on any more work at this time. Speedy Exhaust & Repair crew present during the time: Alex, Chase, Guy Location: Shared accommodating parking lot, even when crowded it is possible to find parking. The driveway entrance is mild steepness but wide enough to allowed low, lowered cars, slammed cars in Work: Put together piping kit. Alex and Chase spent proper time, care, and effort on welding the pieces together. they're Good guys will let you know if any complications or changes and will work with you to get you what is necessary; a good deal care was taken in getting the exhaust tips to fit properly to the contour of the cutouts and surrounding region. I came back the next day to re-adjust the exhaust tip fitment a tad bit and brought in a gasket to be placed between a flange portion of the pipes free of charge follow up. I called up many places, this place was reasonable and fair in price and was one of the closer shops on my regular commutes. Good experience overall, chairs to sit or there is supposedly a food or coffee shop right off the sidewalk towards the stoplight but I only saw it when mobile. read more

Somedays it might be a little busy but he does the best to fit you in if its possible for a same day service. Never took my corvette nor mercedes to any other shop. This is a rare find. It's under new management and Felipe is awesome. It is rare to find an honest mechanic. He doesn't over price parts and he helps you out when your in a bind. this is a great place to get your exhaust done and i have 1970 chevelle and got my exhaust completly re-did and it was done with great detail and quality. Alex the owner is very friendly and easy to talk to and the prices are very fair he wont rip you off . Made an appointment for 10 o'clock..sign says they open at 9:30. Dude rolls up at 10:10 and decides to take his time moving cars around..walks by me about 3 times and never says anything so i figure ill just let him settle in.about 10:30 rolls around and hes just chilling in the shop so i decide to see whats up.i tell him i have a 10 o'clock appt and he says his guy is out until 3:00...wtf????
